Dark and Darker is one of those games that conceptually would never work, but somehow does

It reminds me of an old Ps1 game called Shadow Tower one of Fromsoftware's early attempts at rpgs before becoming the legendary creators of Elden ring, with loot with a Resident evil inventory system. I'll have to check it out when I upgrade my hardware not sure my old machine could handle it haha. Very cool to watch though ^-^.

When I saw you were playing with buddies I assumed it would be Peebs and Jeff. I haven't seen Jeff in months, hope he's doing okay. But great stream as usual, good to see Dark and Darker back for a bit.

Seems like that hydra acts like the hydra spell in Diablo 1

You can't bring legendary gear into normal dungeons and you can't go to high roller dungeons if you can't afford Legendary Edition (aka premium) So if you're F2P, you can't use legendary gear period.
