Man, watching your guys' salmon season videos makes me mad haha. I spent a weekend in Bella Coola back in September and tried flies, jigs, spoons, and even some dancing to music from the maritimes and didn't get a single salmon. One beautiful rainbow but that was it. Then you guys pop off by comparison with every lower mainland trip in the videos haha

Hey you guys! great video as always. would love to see some continuous shots of just fishing as well, even if nothing bites! I'm definitely fishing vicariously through these videos these days. lol PS: there is definitely a difference between fish in different systems, from their genetics that determine their fat composition and fat deposition, proteins and all sorts of macromolecules running through their bodies to their diet, timing of migration, distance from the ocean, etc. that for sure change their quality as table fair. I do have a tier list of systems, but 3 out of my top 5 aren't really well known and I don't want to share them here on youtube lol but I can tell you that amongst the better known systems in lowerML Cap is number 1 with Squamish following at a close second, then it's alouette, chilliwack, chehalis, stave, harrison, norrish (nicomen), and serpentine in that order. The real question is, can you actually taste the difference between jacks and adult coho? I'm sure their fat content is different, with adults obviously having more fat than jacks when they're nice and chrome. I never cooked them side by side to compare, maybe a catch&cook video by you guys could answer that question. ;)

They really destroyed that spot by dredging it. It's still beautiful scenery, but not nearly as much. Did you guys film here recently? I haven't been here in about 3 weeks.
