There's a form of DDOS attack called "Lots of people connected all at once and our sh*tty servers couldn't handle it cos we fired half the staff who maintain them"
The reality is a lot of thigns work better under state regulation and national regulation. Look at the disparity of how much each state give and take to the government. You let everything go state wide, those states, which are vastly republican led states, would suffer so much from their inability to produce to the same standards of the rest of the country. The country is a Union, we support eachother equally so that it doesnt matter which state youre born in you have the same oppurtunity for success. Getting rid of the department of education would an absolutely horrifying prospect.
@@talivato Well, the billionaires that he does dealings with will making more money. Getting rid of the department education has multiple pros for a billionaire class who wants control. 1. You can sell school services now. 2. You get to dictate what the youth will be told. Want republican voters? Just teach them only conservative values. 3. Anyone who don't want to have an education will not have one. 4. You can gatekeep quality of education, and thus who can or cannot ascend class. So you can have your rich private schools with super quality education, and everyone else can get f'd.
Remember the interview with the translator saying "If I translate exactly what he says, they will think I am idiot who doesn't know English". Heard the Trump impersonator speak more coherently than the ex-pres... reminded me of the anecdote.
Desi Lydic. Oh for crying out loud, please find meaningful employment. Does anybody think that Kamala Harris could sit down for 2 hours and publicly discuss the issues facing this country without a script? A month ago she was a liability and the Democrats couldn't figure out how to work around her because she clearly has no business running a Dairy Queen, much less the country.
He absolutely sounds like a person with their dentures out. I had never thought about whether his teeth were real or not until now. So odd of him to do an interview without them.
I mean, ya gotta admit that Elon did an astounding job as an interviewer. Not even seasoned journalists can provide such in depth and insightful questions and commentary like "uh-huh, mmm...mmhhmm, yup, oh yeah, uh-huh, yeah, mmmhhhmmm, huh, okay, yep, oh!" I mean I could go on, but Elon was just amazing and I think if he wants an entirely new career that he can absolutely botch just like all his other careers.

Hey, don't let this "Women getting credit for men's work" go crazy now, alright? Trump worked very hard to make himself the behind of the joke on this one! Credit where credit is due!
Kamala’s proposal to eliminate tax on tips is not the same as Twump’s. Twump’s would not benefit low wage workers, who already pay little to no income tax, and could be gamed by higher income workers who could claim their income was from “tips.” It would give Republicans an excuse not to raise the minimum wage. Harris’s proposal would raise the minimum wage and would restrict the exemption to service and hospitality workers.
@@Realsolution-o1s Did you know that businesses aren't taxed on their revenue? Everything they put back into their business operation, expansion and wages, is UNTAXED! They're only taxed on whats left over--the profits! Its easy to surmise paying living wages shouldn't raise costs much...unless the business was just super greedy!
@BradloRaul Right? Talk about bad letter choices. Not to mention all the other X conncections. It's a variable in math, a chromosome in genes, a letter in the alphabet. The only way to talk about "X" the website IS to mention Twitter in the dame breath or else you'll just confuse people.
We should go full Prince and call it "The website formerly known as Twitter." I mean, X is a character in the alphabet, but it's still only one symbol!
To be fair to Kamala Harris (something Trump would never do), the idea to exempt tips from income taxes has been a Democrat proposal for many years, not something that Donnie came up with.
Why did that insipid politician hyena fail to address the issue of tipping three and a half years ago? Why now? The truth is, she has always been indifferent and will continue to be. The moment she secures a new title in office, she will revert to policies that benefit her donors. Furthermore, those who are young and uneducated should refrain from voting if they are not shouldering the responsibilities of a job, paying rent or a mortgage, managing car payments, supporting parents, or raising children while also maintaining their own financial independence. It is easy to spout opinions when you live comfortably with wealthy parents. Instead, try earning a minimum wage and then see which candidates truly represent your interests.
RE: "the idea to exempt tips from income taxes has been a Democrat proposal for many years" Right, that's why they enacted it so early on in their term. And yet I Remember that all the newly hired agents of the IRS were expressly empowered to go after tips. Hmm, how does that mesh with your beliefs? [edit] Just to be clear, The IRS thing happened, the tax relief did not. Go figure... No, really Kamala wanted this that why she spoke out about it early in her administration. What, what, she never spoke out about it. What gives? She's passionate about it now. She must really love Trump.
@@zlee415 The GOP legislature and governor of the state of Montana just changed the tax law in Montana to make tips taxable. Tips weren't taxable last year, but they will be this year. Guess that's what the GOP wants.

She's incredible... but I disagree wholeheartedly... this show has never been better than right now with this diverse and talented rotating crew and it would be a mistake to return to one host. They stumbled into better.
I disagree. Even for a campy comedy news show her delivery feels too throttled/forced/strained. It sounds more like a bad Saturday Night Live skit. You can be funny without the phony.
I voted for Carter over Reagan back then. I'd vote for Reagan today if the Republican party promised to be that type of conservative again. I still disagree with the politics but respected the man.
As an educator it makes me want to cry how he wants to remove DOE to the states. We already fought the Governor for cutting 24 million early childhood education funds for low income families to be able to afford these services. Kindergarten was mandated within the last 10 years. Which means children weren't starting school until the 1st grade. They wonder why we have one of the highest rates for illiteracy. What happened to no child left behind?!?!?!?
They want to leave every child behind... they want every woman to have more kids than they can handle, so they can build up an impoverished and gullible voter base. Literally all of their policies reflect this motive.
The Republicans don't care about fetuses once they are born!! That's what happened to NO Child Left Behind! Republicans do NOT support and have cut any and all federal programs, like WIC, Headstart, and School Lunch Programs, that lift them out of poverty!
I agree. Teachers and or Instructors in my mind are hero's for with out them we the common citizens would all grow up ignorant to history, science, social studies and lack very important critical thinking which is basically reverse logically thinking. Jim Rodgers
I disagree. I raised 4 kids, all went to public school, and it was horrible. There is way too much waste in the DOE and public schools, and no child left behind just brought down the smarter kids to wait for the idiots to catch up.
Last few months the Trumpards were talking about all the time how old Biden is; now Trump is the old guy in the race, all of a sudden they don't talk about age anymore.

And VOTE on every election. We need to vote for our representatives in the House and Senate. We also need to vote in local elections. These elections are at different times in each state and can be easily found on the internet.
Right, and no reason for Justice Thomas to report the value of any considerations he and Ginny T. may have received from Harlan Crow. Same difference, right?
Have you never heard of audio compression? Both sides have released footage showing that there was no lisp in reality, but was caused by the audio compression.
As a long-term TSLA stockholder, I've pretty much observed Elon's every move and public statement for five years. About a year ago I decided that he was untrustworthy in the sense that his word was not his bond. My current assessment is that he is amoral, which subsumes untrustworthy, and fundamentally dishonest. That places him at the same ethical level as Trump. Think about it.
I agree, and "not his bond" really makes me want to make a joke about DT's denture glue right now. Apparently getting things cheaper isn't always the best deal.
And yet Trumps website has 20 points on policy while Kamala's has zero. Kamala lives in Joe's basement and will give not interviews. Go figure. A leader leads while a sycophant follows the script. Name one thing Kamala achieved as Vice President. Her latest ads all claim Republican positions. Gee, isn't that interesting. Lets be clear, on day one she will revert to the progressive liberal that she is. Trump is Trump. Kamala is a chameleon who will change as soon as she has power. For example her current position on "No taxes on tips" (Trumps idea) will disappear. Not sure what excuse she will give but it will be well thought out and presented as a positive idea.
Project 2025 wants to close the Dept of Education. But it doesn’t want the “states” to handle education. It wants the federal government to send federal education funds directly to parents, who will then put the money into the organizations of their choice. What could possibly go wrong?
School vouchers for all? Choice on where you fund? Parents definitely shouldn't get that, they wouldn't vote for that right? No, let the government handle the money, they would never waste or just straight up lose the money.... Lol
That is even worse then I thought! Let me use a friend as an example: He has no children but pays thousands into the local school system every year. From what you described, his money will no longer go to the local school but directly to some parent. Whom could then use said funds not to collectively improve the local school system, but subsidize whatever alternative the parent decides is best. Even if that Parent chooses to use that money three districts over, on a private entity that is known to utilizes excessive funds in support political endeavors.... Thus, from what you have described, I have to conclude: My friend might be forced to fund a private entity that could be calling for his very demise.... Where, right now, all he has to worry about is how much goes towards sports over education!
@@Hendrix04974 We like to believe parents have the best interest of their children in mind... but it is a lie. The majority would use that money to further their own goals, not their children's. Removing them from the equation, and having a custodies handling it, is better.
