I should be surprised but this is the FGC where everything is absolute. A new character means he’s either broken top tier and needs to be nerfed or he’s trash bottom tier unviable and needs desperate buffs. I’m amazed these people are able to discern this without hesitation within a week of the characters release.
Happy chaos is hard 😆. Alot of his optimal conversions are pretty execution heavy and if he loses neutral it minus we'll be ggs. The only simple thing about him is probably his zoning.
@@spicyluvsyou and the zoning was the thing people hated the most. I'm not saying his optimal shit isn't hard, it's just that the part most people were annoyed with wasn't that hard.
Ikr it’s hilarious seeing how people are trying to determine his strength despite him only being out for like 4 days lmaoooo strive players are very impatient.
I started off disappointed and not really liking him the first day or two. I've gotten more into the swing of things at this point and he is a fun character. Something I've noticed though are his specials seem to get stuffed really easily, I couldn't seem to get elk hunt or beak driver out much when playing against Bridget, Anji, anyone with forward moving specials. They seem to have priority unless they try and react super late and I hit them in startup frames. I still think he could do with just 1 more bar for his flag or actual regeneration upon eating but he isn't quite as bad as I first thought. At this point anyway maybe things will change once opponents learn the matchup a bit more.

I have heard nobody say Sin was trash except Xrd players but like...isn't everyone toned down? Where have you been? Sin looks nasty between whiff punishing, mixup, and frame trapping potential
It's almost like a few days isn't enough to get a full grasp of a character's placement in the meta or something. People are so quick to jump onto bad faith. Like the good ol' days where people that HC had a bad match up with Potemkin. True wild west days those were.
With the gift of hindsight twitter people were finally right about a new character, sin has been stuggling a lot. Ngl most of this tournament was just knowledge checks that people don’t fall for anymore nowadays
As I sin main i feel disgusted that I didn't relied I could chain 5K into 2D then DP. I'm even more disgusted with myself for not realizing that 5K is something I need to use more
Yeah people were definitely dooming a lil hard. He has weaknesses but he's still a good character. Not super top tier but definitely not bottom tier garbage like some were saying.
He seems alright, but still disappointing to me. Wish eat was better. I like doing a setup move on oki and his mechanic isn’t really worth it. Far slash and beak driver being so punishable but other characters have such good far slashes also seems kinda wrong.
Sins not trash but you can clearly see they washed to gimp him for strive and I think they might of went to far. Beak driver hurt box is at the tip of his flag His food meter is to small for consistent pressure (all strive characters have consistent pressure strings) RTL can’t be used as an ender for buttons that use stamina. He needs some buffs
His mid range pokes and mix up options are fucking insane. His can literally out poke most of the characters in this game follow up with beaker driver and stamina follow up and corner carry at round start, and not to mention he has one of the best backdashes in the game. Sin does NOT need buffs but I do think his beaker driver hurtbox goes way too low and they should fix it but besides that he's a top tier for sure no buffs needed
Anyone worth their salt does not jump on the knee jerk responses of twitter and agree with their conclusions. So many people out here dogging on sin kiske like the man can't convert a whiff punish into a free wall break with RTL not to mention clean hit tyrant barrel does truck loads of damage when you kara cancel off of any of your specials.
Pays not to listen to people on twitter they also said Nago and HC weren't very good when people started playing them now they are the most oppressive characters in the game. People really should focus on developing characters first before making these claims.
i dont think sin is trash at all. he seems pretty nice except his far slash. the startup and recovery are kinda harsh considering the buffs others characters got. that being said he has beak driver so eh it’s kinda whatever.
How does winning using a character month one when no one had any matchup knowledge prove the point he isn’t low tier lmao? Also aged like milk, 4 months later and it’s even more accepted that he’s bottom tier
@@tehjargonz0r seems like everyone is enjoying him for the most part but from my experience in game he Just has easy tools. longrange. very fast attacks and nonstop pressure while using about 3-4 attacks.
May has to be one the wackest character in Strive... the combo at 20:05 uses 2 fking moves and a super and it deletes a health bar. Idk, just feels undeserved. #fukMay
Question about DLC’s. How badly do skill gaps effect DLC characters? Like if the best ky player practiced with ky since guilty gear was released, and than the best sin player started practicing with sin since the moment his character was introduced, how long would it take for the best sin player to match the skills and experience of the best ky player?

@@Swahmee_salami Baiken has some nuance stuff but like she’s incredibly bland and basic when optimized. And her neutral is incredibly boring as well to both play and watch imo. Mained her for awhile and it was tiring.
@@Swahmee_salami meh, diff game people gotta stop comparing it to xrd and look at it like a new title because not only did they make it grossly apparent that it’s gonna be developed for accessibility, but most the charas they brought over don’t play anywhere near like they did in previous titles lol hopefully they’ll add more specials soon maybe even in winter patch but can only wait and see heh
