If your internet and game are completely fine and you're still getting disconnected it's very likely that you're getting hacked. Latif got disconnected and got his name changed when he reconnected and Akaraien got attacked for a whole stream by someone, preventing him from practising. Its a real thing, you can get hacked and disconnected in GGst, even get your username changed. I'm quite surprised arcsys still haven't addressed this. Just spreading awareness.

Loool, you level up realllly fast in celestial… the level doesn’t really mean much. It probably is the equivalent of ~10 hours of celestial play if I had to guess

@@Diaphone I did notice that. my first month I only got to level 100 even though I was grinding my ass off, and then when I hit celestial I was getting like 3 levels per win, so got to level 500 from 100 much quicker than it took me to get to level 100.

This was really helpful as a noob to see someone handle a good Testament. My record against Testament players isn’t too bad but I do struggle against them when they’re a lot better than me. Often Testament, Zato, and Baiken that fucks up my defence. So it’s good to see some tactics against a decent Testament. Not only the timings for blocking but interesting to see it pays to just dodge some of those long range attacks.

Would you recommend the Hitbox CrossUp over the Hit Box or the Smash Box, and if so, why? I was planning on getting the Smash Box when it came back for, well, Smash, but was also going to use it for Tekken and Strive. Your gameplay is insane, by the way! Definitely subbing.

I think when you are first starting out, controller selection is a very very small part of why you win, so just pick what you like best and is comfortable for you

@@Diaphone Oh, yes, sure. Dude, I've been in this tier discussions for the last 20 years. I can write a book on how player's perception of a tier translates to character's actual tier. In a series turned pure pay2win like Guilty Gear when the abuser himself calls the newest one-neutral-move-match-winning DLC tier character "mid-tier" this means the thing is BROKEN AS FUCK. I mean, look at what Leo did to GGXRD and think that those abusing him still think he's a "lower tier", probably just because they still had to input their pressure/mixup/crossup/damage combo every time, and he would be "mid tier" if it would input itself. Calling it "mid tier" speaks volumes of what it really is. Oh boy am I glad I could let this rotten series go...
