Thanks so much for all your research with this. The commentary channels have collectively been hugely helpful in clarifying facts to a larger audience. That’s something I would’ve never been capable of doing with my own, smaller platform. I’m very thankful.
To anyone still defending idubzz. This man somehow handled a situation so poorly he made Keemstar and Defnoodles seem reasonable. There is literally no coming back from that.
No, he handled it like an adult. If you’re running an event with sponsors, and someone in your event starts shit talking the sponsors, and the people that work with them, that’s a liability. If it seems like your event is connected in someway to a schizo Who got dropped from a TV deal because he went on a rant about Jews in a call with a Jewish executive for that company, that’s a liability. Liabilities very easily become problems, so it only makes sense to cut ties with those liabilities. This wasn’t a big gotcha, it’s a standard contract that he signed. Touch some grass and say hello to reality.
@@coasterthekid8867 then why didn't idubbz outright just started with that, rather than the paltry conversation they had about froggy's relationship with sam. froggy is out there asking if collabing with sam is grounds for removal and yet idubbz doesn't outright say yes and just tiptoe around it and go soft language on froggy
@@coasterthekid8867If you think any of Idubbbz's behaviour was "mature" then you either suffered severe head trauma or are more likely to be a dumb teenager who thinks "putting your foot down" is the pinnacle of maturity even though in practice it looked like a little kid stomping his feet while crying. Even though he's the one who made that fan base.
Honestly some people really have no sense. I was baffled multiple people tried to sound smart and argue a cease and desist isn't meant as a legal threat.
Damn, Ian really just lied and misstated every point he made against Froggy in that counter video he made huh? No one has deserved a Tana Mongeau styled content cop more than idubbbz at this point.
Let’s be real. His new upcoming content cop will never be about himself. But I’m glad that ppl like mutah & Critikal aren’t on idubbz’s side on this. Goes to show how much ppl hate Ian, when the “good guys of RU-vid ” are dogging on him.

Bro, you terminated him from the event, he’s no longer part of Creator Clash, you can’t tell him he can’t then disclose anything and must stay silent, he hasn’t signed an official NDA so STFU idubbbz.
@@gickygackersThat's not how it works. Assuming there was no NDA involved in the contract itself, they have no right to try and force him to sign one afterwards.
I love how Ian was able to take a charity event that he created and use it to prove he’s one of the biggest POS on this platform. That’s actually impressive
@@earthnormal7024 I don't, I loved it as a teenager but now that I've actually grown as a human, the humor is just immature and stale, the jokes literally rely on: gross-out humor, smex toy humor, and "heehee dirty word and I said it" humor
Ian wants Sam to stop “harassing” him, but he forgets he’s the one who brought Sam back into relevancy & banned him from CC1 for literally no other reason than that Ian didn’t get to paint Sam Hyde as a fallen off loser like DaxFlame or AirsoftFatty, and himself as the hero who brings them back into the limelight
That's exactly it, when I finally looked into the "beef" last month, not only did I find that I like Sam Hyde's style, but I also learned that it was literally JUST the documentary thing. From the amount of shit Ian has done to Sam I thought it would go way deeper, but nope: he just got hosed by a troll and now does the typical thing and calls him a Nazi.
@@emalinedickinson7492given that Ian has kinda become a narcissist, Sam did the ultimate crime to narcissists, he ego checked Ian by manipulating him for comedic purposes
How would Froggy know that they weren't "threatening" him with that legal paperwork? It's like Anisa is saying, "Bro, we weren't actually going to sue, but we weren't going to tell you that until things went bad for us."
It's like that prank channel that got shot after charging a family with a knife. It's not like the cease and desist letter ends with "if you don't sign, that's cool too" Froggy's only correspondence was a threat of lawsuit.
Not even that, according to idubbz in his content Cop video on froggy, it was for training with sam. He deliberately waited several months to see if froggy will say something they can pin the firing on. I dunno why Mr. "Mature Professional" would do that, unless he wasn't that mature or professional to begin with.
@PAnya-ih9rb exactly. If she was a baker and he said "If I lose I'll buy your most expensive pastry." Would that still be an issue? No it's only an issue because she chooses to be a sex lite worker. Makes no sense that someone can say they will take part of your professional service and that be an issue when it's not a secret what your service is
@@screw_it_why_not I dunno, I think oddly enough Ian mostvlikely had it out for froggy since the text convo, where froggy never said anything at all about anisa or onlyfans directly. The closest thing to mentioning them was when Ian said he didn't like San saying stuff like that and froggy expressed his understanding and that he approves of Ian's decision on not wanting sam there, but still sam and him were both friends to him and he didn't want to turn his back on sam. If Ian just said "regardless of if we would still stay friends or not, I'd have to ban anyone that trained with sam for both security of the event, as well as security for me and my wife, including you if need be. As a married man I'm sure you'd understand wanting to protect your wife, even if connections needs to be severed to do so". That's a much better response imho.
More like happened because Sam Hyde wouldn't shut up about anisa. Like fr that dude talks so much about another dudes woman, idk how anyone takes Sam seriously. Not that anyone ought to take Ian seriously either. They are just two bozos in a clown war

Idubbz is literally getting tana'd with the wife jokes. If he literally just responded with "Haha, okay" or "Wow what a bad joke" Hed be FINE but hes outraging over it JUST LIKE TANA did to his famous joke with her. Obviously he can still be angry and not want to associate with it, but how he handles it is everything
Better yet, he shouldn't even acknowledge it. I get that he may want to "defend his wife" but bro, you and your wife are public figures on the internet, constantly engaging with them will only draw in more and add fuel to the fire

Most average people like myself would never have even known about the joke or Froggy training with Sam had Idubbzzz and his wife just left it alone. Heck, the joke probably would have driven some good traffic to Anisa's page in the end.
Also the gaslighting of how a Cease and Desist isn't litigation when everyone has been talking about the THREAT of litigation (which is exactly what CandD is for) is hilarious
Even if the OnlyFans statement *was* the reason he was fired, what does that say about their view of having an OnlyFans? If it's ok to have an OnlyFans, then it isn't disparaging, it's just like saying "I'll be a Tier 3 sub to Pokemane"
Yeah its silly. Especially because this kind of stuff, if played out right, could have been good for the event. Because viewers love that kind of stuff and gives them investment. For example without "badmouthing" opponents, as well as Bosses like Mr McMahon, WWE wouldnt be that fun. But Ian and Anisa dont understand that. To them it was all about ego. Ian especially. Imagine 2016 idubzzzz getting mad because somebody like Sam Hyde trolled him. When he did the same stuff for the purpose of same entertainment. But now he changed and his ego kicked in.

Technically, a cease-and-desist isn't a lawsuit, but it is a threat. In any case, a case-and-desist is NOT a friendly offer in any context; it is a threat or warning. It cannot be interpreted any other way.

@@PixelMixels except he was fired from the text convo months prior. Froggy has grounds to present head hunting as a claim. Idubbz even admitted in his video it was from the text convo where froggy was asking for clarification if he could train with sam or not. Ian admitted he fired froggy from a convo that when scrutinized would be found lacking of clear indication of terms while froggy was being professional throughout. Also it's dumb to take sides *blindly*. I could be on the wrong side about Ian screwing froggy over intentionally because he wanted to train with sam hyde, but it doesn't seem that way.
So: Froggy made a joke at the expense of Ian's wife which they claim is the reason for him being kicked, even though they said it was Sam Hyde. Ian got called out for the poor mismanagement of the situation and how vague he was with Froggy in messages Froggy took the money, or money out of his OWN pocket to donate to charities even when he was kicked out of the event. Now Ian is threatening legal action if he doesn't pay back the 15grand they gave him? Am I missing anything else? Is Ian like...Okay? A cry for help maybe? EDIT: Is/was this even about charity?
not to mention ian’s video says that he was extremely clear with Froggy about things then shows texts of him never giving Froggy a clear answer when he asks for a yes or no
It’s amazing how much twitter people just expect a dude to get slandered and NOT a defend his reputation. These are the same people who love the anonymity of the internet and have said way worse stuff than “I’ll sub to your wife’s only fans if I lose”

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. 100% they didnt go through with a lawsuit cause they saw the immense amount of backlash they were receiving. I bet they thought they were going to bully froggy legal jargon cause they didnt think he'd be able to afford to represent himself in court, but thanks to thr amound of support and people like mutahar who said hed cover the legal fees, they backed off knowing the amount of negative backlash. After all, we know how much icucks loves bullying so long as its not him being picked on.
And to think that the same dude that used to be up in everyone's business, making hit pieces for content creators he dislikes and actively seek to tarnish their image, is now sending out Non-Disparagement Agreements for fear of being criticized and made fun of and hide behind a cocoon of content creator "friends" and lawyers.
Bro the fact that Flamenco and def noodles not only agreed with the commentary community but had decent takes shows that the dubbz dickriding defenders are missing some common sense
Anisa falls over her lies and then blames the audience for 'not being able to read.' If they actually wanted to minimize the drama, a simple DM saying "hope theres no bad blood. Keep the money or give it to charity" would suffice. A letter like that written by lawyers is so obviously a threat
Didn't Epic Meal Time train with Sam Hyde as well? And that was at the height of there beef but nothing was said then. If you ask me, Idubbz wanted Fog gone just because that Twitter scuffle.
@@dashawnballard52 what no one is asking is why Idubbz is on Sam’s radar. Let’s not pretend Ian is a helpless victim he made his bed and he’s laying in it now
Actually no. Harley trained with Sam when the drama was dying down. Ian had just released his side of the Sam documentary and everyone was giving him props for finally doing so. It seemed like peace had been made between them. The REAL drama started during creator clash 1 when Sam was randomly banned for no reason after he had bought tickets. After that Sam's kid gloves came off and he started making fun of Anissa and Ian somewhat regularly.
Idubbz is a fragile cuck, Froggy making fun of his girlfriend fucking other men hurt his feelings so he kicked him out, Sam Hyde was just the cherry on top in my opinion.
You can't give someone money for something Wait for them to spend it Kick them from the event over your own feelings And expect that money back. Ian is wilding and he's not even close to representing reality. This shit isn't going through.
I think Froggy might have a case for an unjustified contract termination due to there being no clause for him to not be allowed to work with event banned people because there’s no clause for that he might have a case because you can’t break a part of the agreement that doesn’t exist.
I think that this whole situation could have been avoided if they just let froggyfresh fight in CC, then not let him fight in future events. But no Idubbz got butthurt and had to kick froggy out.
It's all would be avoided if Ian told FF, "Yes you will" The moment Forggy asked if training with Sam will get him kicked, instead of jumping around the topic like a little bitch to the point FF got pissed and told him to give him Yes or No answer
@@TheBloodGamePL Exactly this, I love how in his response video Ian flashes those texts on screen as some sort of checkmate when in reality all it does is show Ian himself acting like a child.
"Your honor, I know I held a knife up to his neck and told him to give me all his money or I'd cut his throat, but the thing is- I never planned on actually slitting his throat, so it wasn't a threat at all, you see. I am quite smart." Brain worms. If you have your legal team draft up an ultimatum, that's a threat- whether or not your intention to follow through was there. Otherwise why not just ask him for the money back without saying "OR ELSE WE COULD..."?
Actually in court of law ian would lose. The biggest evidence is when froggy asked yes or no? And Ian didn’t say no or yes. Then he made a slander video misrepresenting a time line.. which is efemation and slander. Ian and Anita would lose.
Anisa is right in saying it is common legal jargon, but that common legal jargon usually comes with actually following through. What's missing from their argument over not threatening to sue is that the implication is there regardless. Yes, all they really did was state that they had the right to sue, but there are connotations to that statement. If they really did not care about the 15k, they wouldn't have included it as a "trade" for signing the NDA. The NDA wouldn't have mentioned it at all. They have the right to request the money back but the way they did so was absolutely a threat and an ultimatum.
😂😂 Nothing is common legal jargon. It's a contractual agreement written or typed up. You can not have a document created and sent and saying it just because
how did ian and anisa think they could lie and misrepresent everything when it's so easily disprovable lol even the texts ian show in his own video made him look worse lmao it's amazing
I could have sworn that Ian said he wasn't trying to sue Froggy in his video. Also, I love the whole aspect of other creators saying "we didn't get that money" and then Ian comes out and says "we forwarded that amount to all the fighters." Like damn, it just completely removes any sort of truth.
this situation has been incredibly eye opening for people who are on the internet like all of us it’s shown how big of bitches most of the people doing creator clash are. both running it and participating in it. but i think there’s something a little deeper most people aren’t talking about. it’s clear to me now that ian and anisa are going after people who are on the edge of or collapsing into internet irrelevancy so that they have some sort of power over them and what they do. they said before that they want people they can “control” as a response to why they wouldn’t take sam hyde. froggy is the first person to deviate from their rules slightly and they have a freak out and a drama that’s attracting people from all corners of the internet to shit on ian and anisa. this drama has been beautiful ngl. but the dumbest claim has to be from that chick shilling for creator clash. a “loan?” they gave him money TO SPEND on training and preparation for the fight. there’s a massive difference between a loan and a grant/gift. one carries the expectation it will be paid back and the other doesn’t, and i think it was clearly a gift to help him prepare without any sort of idea he would pay them back the 15k.
So they admit the money is for training and because they take time off content creation... that money that he had probably spent a lot of already... he had already been training and put his content to the side for how long now? He is now suppose to not only lose that time and effort he has to pay for it all out of his own pocket? They also claim they arnt really gonna sue him for it but they will threaten him with a lawsuit... they will publicly accuse him of stealing from charity... all the while the only "out" they give him is if he signs an NDA promising to shut up. Real class act.
This Alanah girl has to be denser than a fucking brick "He did something that breach the contract. I have no idea what he did, or how he breach he but he breaches it" Love the fact she isn't even shy about admitting she has no idea what she is talking about
16:35 "it was because of Breach of Contract, I don't even have full understanding of the Breach of Contract" -Anisa Johma This is like setting up boundaries and rules, and expecting people to abide by something even you don't understand.
God it’s frustrating listening to Anisa… threatening to sue and actually suing are different things! Ian definitely THREATENED to sue him and if he didn’t have negative press I could see him doing it. Weasly fuck! I see why max and Chad never hangout with him anymore
Ian claims what's her face helped make his edgy videos. He also claimed the Tana n-word photo bomb stunt was encouraged by her. So she wasn't a woke psycho until wokeness became the only acceptable means to make money through media. So they're both a couple of inauthentic Ethan Klein types.
Ive been sued (and won), if a person sends you a letter written by lawyers threatening a lawsuit thats the beginning of a lawsuit. Its by definition threatening to sue to send a cease and desist (which this wasnt).
Anisa: “We never threatened to sue. We just threatened to sue if he didn’t sign the nda. We never planned on actually following through on our threat… Which we didn’t do.”
I just know I dislike Idubz and don't know who this Froggy guy is. If addressing this continues to make Iddubz look bad then I'm all for it. If dubz just shutup about it and quit feeding into this guy the dispute would disappear on its own.
Everyone saying "this is like your employer..." are goddamn idiots. Being a W2 employee carries with it a whole different set of laws than contracting for an event. The two cannot be equated under any circumstances. At no point was Froggy employed by CC, he signed a contract for a show with them.
Oh so that clears it up, Froggy was just meant to somehow know & believe that even though they threatened to sue, they wouldn’t actually follow through with it!!! What!!?
Bro i was like "ok i guess they arent suing" like at least it was arguable but then she got on twitter and litteraly admitted the other choice was being sued if he didnt sign the nda
"You made fun of my wife. You're no longer welcome at out event, also give us $5k or were suing you." These are the people you looked up to when they were edgy. This is what they've become. No more idols.
Not defending Ian in any way on how he handled this, but I do think a lot of people are commenting on a legal document and procedure without any knowledge. I write letters of indemnity often for work and the language is always the most intense it can be. It will cover practically ridiculous scenarios that are the most tertiary related to the actual situation. And it will stipulate options and possible avenues for legal recourse that I can promise you will be extremely unlikely outcomes. But you have to put in any option that you can possibly take in case you want to. Lawyers will make any legal document cover these bases. Anisa is right, it's standard "lawyerese". I do very much understand why Froggy thought he's being sued and why everyone else did, but that language is very boiler plate and doesn't actually imply they will take action. But it has to be there in case they ever would want to. And it's possible Ian is lying, I'm not saying he wasn't. But I'm just saying that actual letter doesn't mean he was intending to. Also NDA's are also standard in these situations. Most companies do it constantly even for basic involvement; esp for public events or if you are even the slightest threat if you speak out. Even with jobs that you the smallest knowledge of their inner workings will have an NDA clause in their contract esp if your position in terminated (by them or you). I have signed plenty of NDAs that are not applicable to me practically bc I have no care to say anything or any influence but it's just standard practice. Them not pursuing legal action for him not signing an NDA and keeping the money is actually better than what most events would do tbh. I think bc these are social media personalities people don't realize that this is also business, and that's how business works in America. There is definitely a bigger conversation to have about the insidiousness of NDAs and contracts but to act like Ian and Anisa are any worse than most companies or groups you like just from that perspective is just misinformed.
that notice of termination basically read like this: You have no rights after agreement is canceled yet we continue to have rights given to us in the agreement even after we terminate our agreement with you. don't say anything or we will hold you financially hostage.
Yikes Ian is digging his hole faster than any of the people he took down on content cop, at least some of them got to keep some of their fame and money. Ian might be out of both if froggy sues him into the shadow dimension.
“That 15k is taken directly from charity” its fucking clear idubbz doesnt care that much about charity, otherwise he wouldnt ban and refund Sams tickets back at cc1.
