Oh Catherine your right any cake infused with caramel , fudge and whip cream is going to be simply delicious!! Anther great dessert . Your husband Thomas reminds me of my brother & I when we were kids . Mom baked a lot and we always fought over the left over cookie or cake batter bowel leftovers. Or the beaters from the mixer. Then mom would send us out of the kitchen in a huff. I notice Thomas likes the bowl too!! Ha Ha!! But you cook and bake some pretty delicious dishes Catherine Lucky Thomas and your Kids !! You've done it again Catherine, our poke cake queen! 😍 You find the best things to poke into a cake! 😘 My sister ran across one of your poke cake recipes the other day (HoHo?) and she found it quite intriguing! 😋 If there's some luscious item or flavor that would enhance a cake, I think you have tried it! 😚 Once Thomas has sneaked a taste and the whipped cream is on top, we have a finished product! ☺️ Everyone waits in anticipation while the cake hangs out in the fridge!😥 But they gather around at the revealing with big smiles on their faces! 😁🤩🥳 Thanks for sharing another amazing recipe! 🥰

I made this cake last weekend. I followed the recipe and instructions exactly, I even used the same baking dish. Not sure what went wrong, but my cake was so soggy from the caramel mixture, that I didn’t want to eat it. This is an expensive cake to make, so I was very disappointed that I had to throw it out. Loved your presentation and thanks for sharing.

I just love condensed milk!! Over the pond we have it on bread and butter, which is lush! Dad used to have it on cornflakes, and Mum used to have it in her coffee, but she used to get so angry when she went to make the 2nd mug of coffee, as me and my brother used to dib into the tin, till it was empty....of course, we left the empty tin in the fridge! 😅 xxx

That looks just decadent! I make a cake very similar. It’s chocolate fudge box cake with the hot fudge layer next then the cool whip. My family asks for this all the time. I’m going to do the caramel on the next one. Thanks Catherine 🍫🍫🍫
