No! He had nice points but he was such a whiny, needy, whingy character who was such a cheapskate and a sponger- funny on a sitcom I guess but most people wouldn't want to live with him.
Well.... he did hit Alan a couple times right after the credits rolled around. Once with the wooden stick part of a broom and the other time he was slapped.
im1who84u lmao go to therapy dude i’m about the biggest anti-feminist i know and that paragraph made me wanna drink the sjw kool aid. where in the fuck r u from lol what is that a goddamn manifesto
im1who84u The amount of time it took you to type that out you could’ve gotten laid and still had time to watch the game. Crack a joke don’t type out the gospel
The two times Charlie's relationships ended were due to Alan: the first time Charlie broke up with Mia because she wanted to kick him out of the house ... the second time with Chelsea. She met a handsome lawyer because Alan had legal problems 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣 funny and sad at the same time
@@arielbanks5557 idk Maybe because they are brothers and he wouldn't like to see his brother dying in a puddle of booze or killed by a crazy woman who walks around with a gun
To be fair Alan never knew why Charlie didn't marry Mia. So when he was pushing the topic he didn't know. But the end part... Alan should have gotten tackled 😂
Those 3 guys and the mom and Berta melded perfectly, Jake was an excellent actor when he was young. It's a shame that he had to grow up and Charlie left. In my opinion this show was the closest any show has ever gotten to being as good as Married With Children.
It's really sad that Charlie was a good man and Chuck Lorre in the later seasons made the character bad just so that he could have his revenge. He also made Alan completely shameless.
I am well aware of how to gain knowledge. I prefer credible sources however. Just because you have a thought or opinion doesn’t make it a fact. What makes you think I don’t know how to gain information? Not every one is trustworthy. hard workers are hard to find. Every one is replaceable. Now if you didn’t know these things before hand, I am glad to have taught you something. Now if you did then the information was simply review. You’re welcome
NO the stupidest thing Charlie ever did was let you stay there more than one week! Alan Harper is a perfect example of a legally of age male that never became a man because his father was not around; Charlie not far from it but at least Charlie sees the world in terms of how it is not how it should be.
I mean, Charlie is the reason why Alan is there in the first place, because Charlie caused Alan's lawyer to give up everything he had because he basically scorned her.
Charlie was not as bad as he made Alan and others to be. This scene proves that behind that talented jingle writer and casanova exterior, there was a caring big brother too.
Man this show was great, you have no idea how much I loved it. I would have loved it to carry on with a sober Sheen, I would have happily watched it to this day. Alas, the show got worse from the moment Sheen went downhill and Kutcher replacing him was the final nail in the coffin for this show.
Chelsea, Betsy, Angie, Chloe, Courtney, Dolores Pasternak, Gabrielle, Isabella, Judith, Kandi, Linda Harris, Lisa, Liz, Lydia, Melissa, Mia, Michelle, Myra Melnick, Sherri, and Rose were clearly not for Charlie. If Charlie met Walden's X Girlfriend Zoey I think they would've kicked Alan Harper out of the beachhouse like the horrible people they are and live happily ever after.
Charlie was perhaps in many ways and many areas an arrogant fool with lots of faults and problems, but in the end, he was always a loving and caring big brother 😇
Though, Charlie broke up with Mia because she wanted Alan to move out, but he didn't want Alan to move out. Then, Alan immediately married Kandi and moved out, and instead of rushing to get Mia back he just shamelessly went back to his old ways. Overall, it's his own fault Mia left him.
2 and half men with Charlie Sheen was priceless! Add Conchata Farrel/"Berta" with her tongue-in-cheek/shoot-from-the-hip delivery, and it was gold! Alan was the sort of person that if he weren't family, you'd hide from him and deny you ever knew him. Jake was good for the first few seasons, but as time wore on and he grew up, all you could say was "God, please do NOT let him breed!".
All the people who think of Charlie as this great guy who took his brother in, think again. Charlie took Alan and his kid in because he was lonely and he broke up with Mia not because he wanted to keep Alan close but because he was afraid of commitment.
You'll never know how many times I told my brothers NOT to go there, and had the same thoughts to just kick the crap out of them for not appreciating my sacrifice. I did a LOT for them, yet none truly behaved like a real brother. Always, "Thank God" and that "God" had sent me for their rescue. They would die for that God but not lift a finger to help me in times of need. Then I did he ultimate thing. I severed ALL ties and I haven't seen any of them again, well, yet. You never know when their God is in need of more money, shelter or tuition fees for their plethora of kids. Isn't life just EFFIN funny.
That's good old christianity for ya. People never taking responsibility for their own actions and always praising their magical sky daddy instead of real people who actually help them.
Alan's exactly the type of simp to tell Charlie the control freak Mia was the good one for him. Cleaned up, perhaps, but she took it too far, stopping him doing things that were harmless because she didn't like them.
I know this is a show but it was funny seeing Charlie thinking about how badly he wanted to hurt Alan even though the people in charge made it look like it was only happening in his mind
Charlie, I am so glade , as far as I can tell ,you did not take out your frustration because of the drugs and alcohol, on Allen, on set ,as it seems to appear , I have been a jerk to my coworkers, before I started to learn about my addections, knowing you well have no chance of denying your actions , might play a part in keeping it together, for the money ,not your coworker, believe me I know , no one is your friend or your brother when your on that cloud at work , anyhow thanks for the years yall, you were the best , but as i face my time is about up place I am laughing at u guys right now ,real time
So Charlie and Mia broke up at their wedding, and Alan and Kandi got married almost immediately after. Considering the reasons Charlie gave Alan here, why didn’t Charlie go after Mia to tell her that Alan is moving out and that they can get married and live together just the 2 of them? It’s not like it was too late at that point. She couldn’t have gone far then.
I kinda did, too, when I started watching the episodes with Walden. But at the same time, I really like Walden, and how good of a role model he was on everyone. Kind, smart, polite, well-mannered, a little particular like how Alan used to be, but also brave, calm, honest, and a non-alcoholic who doesn't hit on women or do drugs. Trust me...you'd rather have Walden in the show. But I do kind of miss Charlie being in that show, though. But regardless, I still love Two and a Half Men with or without Charlie.
as a college instructor, i was often asked if I'd ever 'enjoyed' the young college women. "I'm Forty," I'd tell them, "What would I want with a 20 year old girl? Yes, I know how stupid that sounds..."
I'm not crazy about Alan but Charlie didn't break up with Mia because of him. He could have had Mia back when Alan moved out. That happened literally right after Mia and Charlie were at the altar. At the same time, if I were Charlie I wouldn't let Alan live there for years. It's enabling. Shrug. It's a sitcom. 😊
But kicking Alan out wouldn't have made sense. He and that dimwit Jake brought something into Charlie's life which had been missing. Some sort of a companionship. Alan did not drink nor used drugs. He was a loser all right but mostly because he had to spend the better part of his salary on a bitchy ex-wife who had ruined his life.
I have no brother but when you have a big sister and folks who were arranged to married at a certain time & place. You have no liberty, no peace, and no happiness although I kind of do but surprising your elders is the last thing you should do.
It would have killed the series but Charlie should have tossed Alan out after two months. Only three groups of people always tell the truth; children, the angry, and the drunk. Want to know the truth in a relationship - piss the other person off.
what i really hate abput this, is that later on Alan says that Charlie never calaled Mia after she moved out (trying to take away some guilt he felt) however... he was a massive a..s..s how could charlie called her back after they called oof the wedding because he chose his brother over her... Alan really doesnt apreciates Charlie and the worst par... Alan is always the fist one to stab Charlie in the back givven the oportunity
