Code: SPN for 10% off Blacksmith Tactical Holsters. My go to is the v2 holster with double discrete carry clips and a wedge. And if you have under a 3.7” barrel, get a wedge!! Respect
Bro, these videos really make my day! Especially after a 13 hr day in commercial refrigeration! I bought the str9sc for 225.00! I picked it up along with the m&p9 shield plus, and I love both of these guns. I would've never even known about the str9sc if you didn't show me! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos, especially the conceal carry videos. I feel like these videos are most important and we all learn and grow from one another. Don't let the 10% of idiots that like to run their mouths get you off track! Ignore them and just keep these solid videos coming!
Both great guns. Always good to have a reliable source of information. Many gun channels are just BS. You don't really learn much from them and they just repeat a lot of rumors and lies (or say what they're paid to say). Then they always want to tell you what you can and can't do, based on their own opinions, which are also based on all the same BS. They repeat lie after lie, but then absolutely refuse to listen to anyone that may disagree. (Like ASP for example, absolutely REFUSED to hear about the law called "Felony Murder", because his trainers never told him about it... and I must be ignorant for not having the same trainers as him). Was one of the most despicable arguments I have ever seen in my life.
Nice! Stoeger is solid 🔥 Really thinking about adding a G3C… everyone seems to like them, they just run and Taurus has upped their game now for awhile.
I have both of these. I also have the Stoeger str 40 & the S&W M&P 2.0 their respective cousins. These are excellent summer and winter carries for folks on a budget. Great news on the holsters. I finally found a magazine for the 40 ( only 11 rounds).
I have the SD9 2.0. That rear sight is polymer and the front is metal. Thank you for pointing this out. Every other review I've seen says it has metal sights, and that's just not really true. Definitely feels cheap but shoots excellent. My concern with it is how is the durability going to be? The rails are metal on the tips, but the part holding the tips into the gun is plastic. My rear rail has a little groove worn on one of the edges of the plastic. So I wonder how long that'll hold up. Everyone I've heard from has said they hold up. They're basically the same as the SD9VE but with a new trigger, so I think reviews on that gun's durability carry over. I've heard about trigger issues. My guess is that won't last, since this version is new, maybe they'll work out some manufacturing kink. I don't expect they'll update the gun for another 15 years.
I’ve heard a lot of people say the stroger pistols start having a lot of issues after 500 rounds or more. Also the older SD’s we’re not very reliable but they could’ve fixed it already and I haven’t tried them out
I like the G3C also but I’d get all the plastic out of the gun with the lake line products .. only thing with Taurus the internals wish they were higher quality but you can change them out .. but by the time you do all that you at maybe 400$ overall on the firearm 🤷🏾♂️
The finish looks cheap, but it appears to be holding up pretty good for you. Have seen some of the more expensive guns get all scratched up from normal use (like some SIGs and Taurus for example). Always wondered how any company could justify a weak finish, because it's not an expensive process to get a good black nitride finish on a slide.
SD9VE OG/2.0 all day fits 4/5in MP9 tlr1/7 holsters and MP sights too,if only the Stogey was Mag compatible another good budget edc combo the SD9/G3C mic holstered appendix great car/work gun and most criminals are also likely to have SD/♉️/glock mags on them worst case scenario
I never realized the SD9 had a false reset. I've seen the way the trigger works on the SW9 models and I think the SD9 works the same (with a different kind of sear)... so I'm not sure what would cause it to have a false reset. I know it's not the worst problem for a gun to have, but I've always hated false resets. I'm not as bad as some people though. I wouldn't refuse to buy a gun, because it has a false reset if it's a good gun otherwise.
I met a plumber today and asked him if he liked his job and if he would recommend and he said there’s two main things you have to remember. Don’t bite your nails and shit rolls down hill.
