The world is going mad. I needed a good dose of budgies to find some sanity.

I grew up with these little guys. My mom had them all my childhood. I would sit for a long time interacting with them and whistling with them. It was very calming for my ADHD and was one of the only times I was actually centered. Adorable. 🥰

Shows that the tiniest of us have more love and respect for life than us humans.

Every Budgie has it's unique song and sound pattern, God is amazing ....

It’s incredible how they are actually talking to each other in their own intellectual language (I mean the way they were actually communicating, not the words they said here and there). It’s cool that they mimic human voice but I think it’s even cooler that they are clearly have an extensive conversation with each other in bird language.

My 8 week old grand baby watched this whole video and smiled! I will keep this one saved for the days he is cranky! :)

Watching Budgie videos brings me so much calm and relaxation. There’s just something about them and how they react with each other that amuses me. They’re little bundles of joy if tamed well. So much energy these young baby budgies have. I love how quiet the blue one was until the end. Then he showed his true colors.

Someone should do a voice over to this I bet it would be absolutely friggin hilarious

Wonderful Birds! My 2 boys freeze if they see a camera, so I have to sneak up to film through a window on my bedroom door. I managed to film my baby Bird sleeping next to the picture of the Bird on his seed bag- he must think it's Mommy. Always a joy to watch such sweet creatures. Thank you!

In 1970 we had our first budgie and we taught him to talk and we had him out of the cage everyday and played with him he was so friendly and he lived for 8 years and when he died all our family were heartbroken

So sweet just love them! Takes me back in time when I had parakeet's. Over 20 years I had 8 of them . Most wonderful little guys! I had Angel' Sunshine ' I called him Sunny or Sunny bunny. I had Lacie " and then daisy then Cappy and Paris, blue Dawn Sky and Diamond Dawn. And last one was Max a million blue Moon. I loved them all so much ❤️. I also had two budgies with exactly the same colors as these two, makes me really nostaligc (named Amadeus and Lucy). But because we bought a little swimming pool you had to hang into the opening of the cage and there was still a little gap under it that my mum decided to seal with just some strings, one summer night the female green-yellow one managed to bite it open, escape into the room and then out of the open window. Although we put the cage on the balcony and hang food everywhere around it on the following day to lure it back, the female never returned. The male one immediately became depressed by being alone and just sit apathic in a corner not doing much every day. We eventually bought a new young female one, but I don't know if it was because of the age gap or because the male one still hoped his old patner would return, but they just kept fighting over everything like food or who gets to swim first in the freshly cleaned pool, they also pecked each other and just stayed in different corners of the cage most of the time. In the end we were sad that the budgies were doing so poorly and we couldn't figure out how to improve the situation, so we gave them away for free to a breeder with lots of other budgies in hopes they would have a better life there and find new friends/partners.
