Medical science is AMAZING...that you can have brain surgery (in your case TWO) and then be speaking, moving, showing expressions, being emotional...just LIVING. I don't know...that's awesome and I'm so glad that things went well for you and that you're back home. I'm sorry you feel like shit, but you're HOME! Does the hospital where you had the surgery have a pharmacy? They might have the medication that they prescribed you. I think I saw on FB that you finally got it filled at CVS, but another option might be to go to the manufacturer and fax them your prescription and see if they'll send you what you need. HUGS!
Hey pretty girl - Yes, the hospital *did* have a pharmacy, but the hospital is about 35 miles from my house, one way, and with the horrific snow lately on Long Island, going there wasn't really an option. I did get my script from CVS (thank god!!) so I'm all set. Just took two days of waiting. Love you girl! Janine

Janine...So Happy to see you home. I know you went through a lot with those surgeries and it will take time for you to heal and get back to normal. I realize you are still having some trouble talking but I feel Your language is so much better than when you were in the hospital which I contribute to the drugs you were on and brain swelling that had to be effecting things. One good thing is those surgeries seemed to have taken the "F" word out of your vocabulary... : ) I hope you are able to be seizure free in due time...Be Patient...Keep your faith and spirit high....we are all hoping and praying for that to happen for you. I'm so glad you're at home in the comfort of your own bed and room. I've thought about you an awful lot. You look and sound much better that you did a few short days ago. Thank goodness you made it through two major surgeries! Although your one tough cookie so it doesn't surprise me. You sound great, go easy on yourself girl. Don't apologize about your speech, we are all just thankful your alive and well. You dropped an F-Bomb yes atta girl!!! Rest up, relax, and just recover. I missed this one somehow. I watched it after watching all the other ones, including your last one. I bet your puppy dog is happy your home :) Are you allowed to use dry shampoo? I used it & it really does work well. I can't understand why you can't get the med (can't spell it) that no one has, from at your hospital. Surely their pharmacy stocks it and your Drs can get it for you. (just read your response to siva below lol) ;)
