@dooma ive followed you for a long ass time , ive said this before and ill say it again but by far the most underrated eso channel on youtube , wicked builds and video construction that doesnt take 20-30mins too explain. Excellent work mate
Thank you so much for another amazing build that seems to work perfectly for me. Really loving the 2 3 button build series so far. Looking forward to the next one! -from Aquaman.
I really appreciate how much info you pack into such short videos. It's exactly what I want from this kind of content, and you do it really well, thank you!
You must be that guy they installed the chip in. Idk how you could have so much knowledge of this game otherwise. Every video is a learning experience. Thanks for all the hard work!
I'm stoked to try this one! I've been using your builds and resurrecting characters parked forever doing just daily crafting. Man you ROCK! lol, Yes, that is a compliment from a really old guy.
Hey Harold! You say you are old, but I am sure you still rock💪 Old people usually don't bother interacting with other players, but if you need a company in game, and on PC/NA, let me know! We can play together :)
Welp I apparently made my Templar an Argonian when I was a noob and have no more character slots available so let's see how this build works with Argonian! Your Falkreath speed run video saved me tons of time and I got all my Pillar of Nirn gear super fast! Thanks!
Guess after watching like 10 Vids and learned much about Builds, Classes, mechanics after long (2017) break. I have to say Thanks for Your work. U make Playing very different for 420 Guys like me. 🙏 Great work, keep going. 👌
Nice job. Different & unique build. Really value the DPS at 50k / 90k comments. Realistic and non-target dummy means a lot. Well presented too! Impressive!
Hey man I just want to say your ESO content is some of the only stuff I watch in regards to builds. I'm just picking up the game and these two-button/one-bar builds are what I need the most! Granted I don't have a lot of the items or mythic stuff yet, but it gives me something to build towards someday. If I do end up snagging on of your builds, I'll be sure to link it in my videos!
Haha that's really awesome Frostbreak, thanks so much for coming over and letting me know. Best of luck on your 100% and really nice content btw. There is definitely a lot of room for what you are doing in the ESO content space right now. Great work. 💪
I have been running a heavy attack magplar for so long but recently started feeling a bit too squishy. My SO plays a sorc and often run into issues while duoing content (granted we try tougher stuff often). Tested this today as i needed to rank up Circle of Protection anyway and it was fun! Still have to fully improve gear and rank up that skill but gives me time to get use to new skill setup. Video is very informative, thank you so much. Will scope out your other vids :)
Thanks for this build I found you from the arcanist and left a comment I did get the dlc's now and eso+ still got to build that class. But I have been focusing on my templar since i made it first and I just got to cp 160. Now working on getting the basic sets before the vet versions and this build is deff coming together I love the builds. Your content is what brought me to eso keep up the great work.
Thank you for the kind words Warfrenzy and I'm so glad it helped open the door to ESO for you. It really is a great game. I said on the other comment where I've been so I wont post the same thing twice for you haha. Thanks again buddy, I appreciate you taking the time to come back and comment.
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. AWESOME! Great work and thanks so much for coming back to let me know! 💪 You are very welcome and thank you for watching!🙏
@Dooma I must speak for many to say that you never fail to impress us with these absolutely incredible builds. Also acknowledging the 100% transparency explaining these setups. Thank you for that. Looks like it’s time to grind cyrodiil with all 20 characters for those transmutes! 🤙
Yet another amazing build which is enjoyable to play but also deadly. Thanks so much for all of the work you do to make the game more enjoyable for me (and many others, I'm sure) as I age and my reflexes slow lol Nearly 50 and have been playing since the Beta and of course day one drop. Keep up the great work and I'm so stoked for the Warden build today! PS what is that skin? It's badass
Hi Viktor! You are very welcome and I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment (and your kind words). Thank you! This skin is the new Fractured Glory skin in Gold Road: eso-hub.com/en/collectibles/fractured-glory It looks like it's quite a lot of story farming for it haha.
THANK YOU for watching! If you have any questions, please let me know! Note: This is also on u42 PTS so numbers may be slightly off for you on live servers, but you'll be good to go as we move into the Gold Road DLC here soon. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/the_gameroom
@@ravenstalons154 Thank you for letting me know. We have had a few people say the exact same thing recently. It's never happened until just a couple weeks ago. They had to manually white-list it. I am not sure what is causing it, someone said it could have been some sort of anti-virus update that's over-protecting. Everything is green and healthy on the site currently from our end. Here is a direct link to the home page, maybe that will work without issues vs. bypassing it to the build page if you are still interested: www.thegameroom.tv
@@Dooma Quickly passed the gear off the Necro to test! :D Loving it on the Necro at the moment though, most favourite looking class skill wise! So glad I got it in a good place! :D
I love these builds. They are allowing me to solo dlc dungeons (if mechanics allow) that I could never solo before. Will we see one of these for warden any time soon?
Good job with the build! Keep up the good work! Also options vs pillar is the new set from bedlam has a very similar 2 3 4 but the 5 is easier to fire and doubles as a steroid buff.
@@TatewakiGaming Tarnished Nightmare set it's proc to crit dmg, it's an aoe proc and also procs sundered. With current status change that's also a steroid buff and it's on a short timer and the aoe is huge not like pillar which is only 2.5m so IMHO it's a way better replacement.
@@TatewakiGaming IMHO it's better than pillar for pve if your Crit rate is high enough but vs dummy parse it will show lower output. But to most of us that know you will never have that dummy parse super ideal scenario all the time that set is way better. As it's a consistent output that's on point target aoe and slaps you with a steroid buff so win win.
If you want to avoid pvp and levelling the support tree you can replace flare for deafening roar from werewolf for permanent major protection buff, although you lose the magicka regeneration from support passive
This build is ridiculous. I have kept trying other builds, but have not enjoyed the Templar in a while. Thought I was building another waste of time build. This was worth every resource put into it. This may rival my main in play time now. Keep throwing out these gold builds 👍🏻
I had 1000 transmutes during the Anni. I used them up and grinded for 300 more. I now have 14 transmutes left and it’s ALL YOUR FAULT. Good job! 😉 Time to do another 100 daily random dungeons, eh? Have more Dooma builds to equip and test. My Alts have never had it so good! Take care.
1300 already! haha so wild. 0% jealous. 😅 I have quite literally treaded water between 0-50 for multiple years now haha. And thank you for using your hard earned crystals on this channels builds. 🙏
Just set this up and it's working great, even non-optimized! A couple of questions. How is the magicka sustain? I'm managing during boss fights but usually need to pop a potion. Also, what about swapping staff for 1-hand and shield for the increased weapon and spell damage passive and getting rid of the mage skill for pierce?
I would suggest getting used to "rolling potions" if you havent before. In ESO, many very important buffs come from your potion, depending on the build. In the Alchemy skill line, there is a passive called "Medicinal Use." When at 3/3 it makes it so you get 100% uptime on your potions + a few seconds when used on cool down. Sustain is often factored that was as you get your Major sustain buff from the potion normally. Also, for this type of build, if you do not roll your potions, you are missing Major Fortitude, which is 30% health recovery. So you are likely sitting at significantly less in game, than what was posted on this video. As far as changes to the build, there are countless changes that can be made to the build for personal preference or more damage output. I encourage you to try different things out, you may end up surprised what works better for you. Thank you for watching! 🙏
As always you got my back :D My Arcanist is good and done, been wanting to play Templar now to let my Arcanist rest for a while hehe. My I Ask? Would order's wrath set work fine as I cant get Pillar of Nirn (dont have the dlc) Nvm my wife just bought the dlc for me lol..... hahaha, anyway gonna leave this here. Incase someone else has the same problem as me.
Hi there! Thanks so much for editing and not deleting the comment, super cool of you. I am glad you got it sorted haha. Thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery.
@@Dooma Dooma? My I ask if I am having mana issues? What am I doing wrong? I have all the gear setup now and the skills tho missing few guild passives like the undaunted but I am working on it but armor/class/weapon/race passives are all done and I am using atm witchmothers food. Should I be spaming the potion on cd? What might I be missing :)? Its mainly during bosses/longer fights what is your rotation even tho the build is made to be simple and I love it :) I want to do the best I can, and have started to get a hang of weavingbut have as of yet masterd it ^^
So glad I found your channel! To anyone who reads this comment, how many CP levels do these builds typically require to start farming for the required gear? I'm still a relative noob with my main at around CP340 and wearing nothing but an oakensoul that i just finally excavated, and 5-pc Orders Wrath light armor. I can't solo a lot of the bosses in Undaunted dungeons (even on the basic levels, def not on Level II versions), am afraid to try vet dungeons cuz Falkreath Hold murdered me. I feel like I need the gear just to farm the gear....like a snake eating it's tail. 😅 What is a reasonable CP level to do some of the stuff to farm these gear sets when you are solo and noob-geared? Thanks in advance to anyone who has some useful info or tips! Still captaining the noob struggle boat right now. xoxo
Hi there and welcome to the channel! Thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. You can totally start playing this at your cp level. Soloing dungeons is a whole different world. Some are incredibly difficult, some are super simple, some are outright impossible. In these videos, when I mention solo content, I try to intentionally use a specific phrase when I can remember: "solo content that is meant to be solod." Solo content that is not meant to be solo'd, such as dungeons, is total wild wild west experience and will be highly variable from person to person. I don't recommend anyone new to set out soloinng dungeons as an "intended" solo experience. It's going to be consistently rough for most everyone. It's not the same at all as stuff like the arenas (maelstrom/veteran). those are intended for solo play and normalized for that experience. That may explain some of the difficult you have been experiencing.) You also dont need to farm any gear at all on veteran other than the monster set helm. I always farm gear on normal. It's way easier, way faster, and the upgrade from blue to purple is extremely cheap normally. Thank you again for checking out the channel!
@@Dooma Thank you so much for such a detailed response! I hope your surgery recovery goes well! Tbh I have just seen so many posts on /r where a lot of people are like "oH, iT's So eAsY tO sOlo ThEse dUnGeOnS" and I'm like....No. No it's not. Maybe if I were CP2800? Which is why I was asking about what level. I have played like 1000 hours of Warframe, I platinumed some games that seemed harder than ESO, like Dragon's Dogma: DA, just as an example, so I was genuinely wondering what's wrong with me on these dungeons. 😅 I have not wanted to group on the monster set Vet dungeons because there is always a quest or 3 when you do one for the first time, and I never have a keyboard hooked up and typing on my PS5 controller is poo. So I wanted to try and somehow get through them at least the first time without having a group being annoyed at me for talking to npcs and generally being a noob. Iceheart and Slimecraw helms and the Undaunted shoulder sets are exactly the ones I am stressing over trying to farm. So.... thank you for explaining this situation! I'll wait for my friend who started playing a couple of weeks ago to catch up and maybe try to duo and see if it helps. Thanks again, so much! And do take care of yourself during your recovery! 🥰xoxo
You are most welcome! Let me share 1 more resource with you as well. You said, "2800 CP," I'd to share something with you that I feel with help shed some light on some things for you with CP and also move your goal post WAY closer than you may think you need to go. Check out #3 here: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq The actual question in pink has nothing to do with anything you asked, but the general info on CP and the amounts I feel you will find some value in. Hopefully anyway haha. 😅
@@Dooma Thank you! 🌼 I'm going to check it out right now! The backstory on my "2800 CP" comment was because in the 2 months of I've spent playing ESO (as a mostly aimless filthy casual) it seems like nearly every person I pause to glance at because they have a cool outfit or pet is like CP Infinity. Even most of the lower level players I do spot are clearly vets on alts. Where are the free-range roaming lowbies hanging out (besides maybe the Alik'r dolmens)? 😄
I love it! Btw, I have a small issue on all the writen build. Can't see the Equipement section on any build. ''Check your internet and refresh this page. If that doesn’t work, contact us. Refresh this page" Edit: It was Bitdefender Anti-tracker extension.
Hi, really like this build. If I don’t want to use the oakensoul ring and do overwhelming surge rings, neck and staff, then 5 piece nirn on the body. Which monster set would you recommend for shoulders and head?
Hi there! Iceheart for sure. In any solo build that uses a monster set, that has always been my personal go-to. It used to be on many builds on the channel here.
Quick question In the video the kra'gh visage is used but in the written guide it's slimecraw. Whats the difference? Scrolles comments but didnt see anyone asking this. You mention in the video that the helmet is interchangeable and that you used slimecraw for the trial boss. But i would like to know if there is an advantage over the other
Hi there! I was trying to figure that out exactly for you, it's been a little while, I am not exactly sure what happened. What I THINK happened is, the last thing I did was parse for the group PvE set up, which is what ended up making it on the written guide. Ideally, you want Kra'gh (or any monster set with a line of pen) for solo content and then Slimecraw for group pve content. Apologies for the confusion and thank you for watching! 🙏
Thanks a lot for looking into this! I will keep that in mind and get the other helmet as well. It's really amazing that you replied months after this video came out and support the people here. If i ever make another char or decide to get a build for archives, i know exactly where i'll look
@@hjue44 Awesome and you are very welcome! I try to stay as responsive as possible, no matter how old the video is. I've always said if people take their time to comment on my work or ask questions about it, I am going to be available for them within reason. Thanks again for watching and have a great day!
Why silver bolt instead of barbed trap or something that can provide more dps? These are slotted just for Fighter guild passives, correct? Love your builds! Anything Templar has been built and added to my arsenal =D
You nailed it: These are slotted just for Fighter guild passives, correct? Since they are only there for the Fighter's Guild Passive - Slayer and they are not used, then it doesnt matter which you choose in that context.
Hi there! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. Ive been asked a question like this quite a few times since posting these builds, especially with the newer players coming in from Gold Road. Here is what I have been sharing with those players: Regarding getting to this point as a new player, it's going to take a little while. Everyone is very different in how long. For example, you have to level to 50 and then grind Champion Points to 160 just to get to wear end game gear. When I started ESO I pushed super hard and was there in about 3-4 days. I've heard of that same journey taking people 6 months, and every number in between. Then theres skill points to farm, content to farm for gear, lots of CP farming, etc. It's going to be a hot minute before you are in the exact same build. I cannot recommend enough that you do not play the game in the beginning trying to get to a specific build, no matter how fun it looked. There is a million different angles you can get pulled down that you may end up enjoying so much more. It's good to have a general idea what you may be interested in, but don't let a youtube video stop you from potentially experiencing a lot of fun with other options. Welcome to ESO, I hope you enjoy it!
Within the 3 classes of Templar, which abilities do I max and also morph? I saw most of your Dawn's Wrath unlocked, but not sure which skills I should be unlocking. New to this game. Thank you!
Hi there and welcome to ESO! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. On the written guide all of the morphed skills are listed there. If you click them, it will show you the base version of the skill it came from to help with this issue for you.
Hi there! This is the Arena Gladiator costume dyed black and Gold. The Prophet staff motif dyed all black, and then the new Fractured Glory skin from Gold Road. Costume: eso-hub.com/en/collectibles/arena-gladiator Skin: eso-hub.com/en/collectibles/fractured-glory
Thank you! Not currently on RU-vid but there is one on the Website: www.thegameroom.tv/templar-builds (Semi-Related: Ill be taking a look at the Templar class here Soon'ish for updates across the board, so there may be some written guide changes in the future.)
You are very welcome! Surge is very easy/quick to farm (the dungeon can be solo'd on normal). The Surge set is backdooring the sustain in the build, so without it, its going to be a struggle without somewhat heavily accommodating it at times. Since surge is a such a quick farm, I recommend just knocking out the farm first rather spending a bunch of time and resources for something that will be temporary.
Thank you Brett! Easiest: 2 Button Arcanist for sure. It's 2 buttons and legitimately immortal in more situations than not. Best? I have to give tot he one dropping in the morning, the Warden: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WQNg12ptn7w.html&t
Since its temporary I would just keep it simple and cheap. Julianos + X if you are mag, Hundings + X if you are stam. Just pair that with whatever damage set you can get. Both dungeons are very simple clears on normal, you should be more than fine with that to get it farmed up.
Hello Dooma, I'm just asking this because I'm curious. May I ask to You, Which two-button class/build You perosonally prefer in Solo content and in Group content & Why? Thank You..
Hi there! I would say the "easiest" to do well with would be the Arcanist. It's just 2 buttons and fully immortal more scenarios than not. The one that is the "best" I would have to say is the one dropping tomorrow, the Warden: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WQNg12ptn7w.html&t
I have another question (writing it as a new comment so maybe others can see it as well) I am at cp 420. Ive seen your replies to other comments explaining cp selection and the link you provide to your guide. My question is: would you prioritize getting the slottables for the build unlocked or should i pick the passives first? And if so, is it better to fully upgrade each slottable before moving on to the next one? Because i technically can unlock them all but each at minimum requirement
Hey there! That is one of the hardest questions to answer for people because the variables are infinite, especially considering trying to generally answer it for countless players all of which playing very different set ups, with varying degrees of ability, and in different spots on their leveling CP journey. What I have done is given a very general build path for players, in another area of the website you may not have seen (Not the FAQ I link here in comments) to give a very generalized build path for CP depending on your role. There might be a couple of tiny things slightly outdated and it wont apply specifically to this build 1:1 but it can at least give some ideas on the build path of where to place CP as you go. www.thegameroom.tv/cp Regarding the slottables, that is an interesting one haha. I genuinely dont think I have been asked that or considered that before. If I have I dont remember at all. I dont see anything necessarily wrong with putting half slottables up there as you go. My biggest suggestion on this topic I give people, is dont try to fine tune this so much as you go. Its going to wildly change constantly and thats all you are going to be doing. Just do what you can, follow a general build path, and hustle to get to 1250, then 1550 (as you have seen on the FAQ page), and then you never have to worry about it again, forever. Its not that things dont matter before that point, its just that there isnt really a reason to hyper focus on mix maxing every pixel as you are leveling, if leveling is your focus. Now if you are trying to do some sweaty stuff early before being optimal with CP like say vet dungeons or maybe even some trials, then yes, for sure try to allocate them as accurately as you can, but outside of that (generally speaking) if you are just going through the motions and leveling things up, its not that serious at all to have to be so fixated on making sure cp is perfect.
@@Dooma thanks for replying again and explaining this in so much detail. I'll keep it in mind. Guess i was just overthinking getting a build. I started the game by recommendation, played through a zone and decided that i wanted one. Took me a lot of daily dungeons to get the materials so i could finally make your build. It just sucked that i depended on my friend to help me with all the content i couldnt do alone. Anyway... i'll go back to enjoying zone content now. Thank you for your time again
Hey Dooma, thanks for the build, and all the content you put out. I'm a returning player and I enjoy your work a lot! Had a question, as a magplar I'm mostly playing solo or at most doing vet dungeons with 2 other friends sometimes (tank + support/dps) and I have collected Deadly Strikes, Pillars of Nirn, War Maiden, Overwhelming Surge and Order's Wrath. In the kind of content I do, would you still recommend Pillar/Overwhelming as the sets of choice? I tried it in a bit of public dungeon grinding/normal daily dungeon and most mobs died long before nirn proc'd or ticked for it's full duration. The sustain from OS was nice, but if stuff dies for Siphoning Spells, or if you get a few synergies or even heavy attack once or twice, you're fine. Maybe one set combination is better for soloing and another for group content? I imagine all those sets are close in terms of pure damage anyways and it's more of a "choose what you prefer" situation, but still I'm interested in your insight :) Cheers!
Hi there Alvi! You are very welcome! I read it all and I think I know what you are asking, but the scope can be enormous to answer this. Could you do me a favor and maybe slim this down to a (specific) thing or two you would like to know I can maybe help out with. I could spend a ton of time replying here and it end up not even necessarily being helpful haha.
@@Dooma No worries, my question was quite broad indeed. Just letting you know I went with Deadly + Surge, after trying out Nirn I didn't like the fact it could proc randomly (mostly from Solar Barrage) on mobs that were alone, and for the type of content I do Surge feels really good.
Hey there, love the one bar builds! I have a question though, i have everything purple and jewelry is bloodthirsty, but my tooltip on jabs isnt even close to yours. Mine is at 4300 give or take. What i am doing wrong? Thanks again for the one bar builds!
Hi there! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. I'd love to make it super easy for you and just give you a quick answer, but it's just impossible. There are so many things connected to it, I can't even guess without seeing it. Check out #2b here for a list of things that may help track down what is going on. www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. You can totally do that if you prefer. Use the set up as a base and change things around to whatever interests you the most. There are tons of ways to chop it up from here.
If you want a solo set up, then Templar with Hexos on the body, Overwhelming Surge on the Jewely/Lightning Staff, and the Ice Heart monster set. It was the previous version of this on the website with the "Immortal" tag, meaning it could easily clear Vet Vateshran/Maelstrom with no deaths or sigils and can clear my 12 man trial boss solo in about 10 minutes.
just came back after a 30 month hiatus and have to reset my CP (1143,) trying to find out how it is broken down to reach the requirements in each node.
i absoloutly love your builds and use them on a lot of my characters TBH but im struggling here with this im not seeing these 50 - 70k dps numbers u are seeing
Hi there and Thank You! DPS discrepancies are usually always a result of either #2a and/or #2b here: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq If you would like additional support from there, there are Discord options in #1. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
Does the Oakensoul ring major buffs replace the buffs from Inner Light? Worth it just for the 5% magicka increase or could it be replaced with other passives?
Named buffs don't stack. The mag given from Inner Light is fairly significant because you also get access to the Mage's Guild passives. A quick way to test this out for you, is put it on your bar, check out the tool tip of Jabs, then drop it for a different steroid like anything from the Fighter's Guild. You should notice a higher tool tip with Inner Light on your bars. It also gives a bigger magicak pool, which is always beneficial as well. Great question!
I wish I had the cp for these things, I originally wanted some kinda build that could solo stuff and live to tell the tale but I struggle too much. Usually can't get a group together to do stuff so solo is my only option most days. The Necromancer 1bar thing with overwhelming and Pillar of Nirn I put that together but I did I configuration of 3 light, 3 Medium and 1 heavy. It works nice and normal dungeons are no problem but most vet dungeons feel impossible to complete fully. One shot mechanics that you cannot dodge/avoid aside, the game just annoys me trying to push through it. I just want something to work for a change no matter my cp level, I assumed 450 or so would be fine but clearly not.
I feel you, and I understand your frustration. Let me give you some real tangible goals here: 1) Maximum dps is obtained around ~1250 CP. 2) Maximum offense + defense is obtained around ~1550 cp. There is a lot more to damage and survivability other than CP as I am sure you know at this point now, but CP does matter. You are quite a ways off from reaching a true well rounded build. We'll come back to that in a sec. There is a reason you often here me say a specific phrase in my videos "you can solo anything that is meant to be solo'd" with the take away there "meant to be solo'd." Dungeons are not meant to be solo'd Yes they can be solo'd, Ive done most of them myself and have guides on the channel on how to do some for popular gear sets, but they still arent intended to be, so the balancing inside of dungeons, are worlds apart from solo content. In one dungeon a regular trash pack can fall over in seconds, and in another a certain trash back can be completely brutal to deal with. Some bosses just parsing dummies that fall over, some fully impossible due to mechs. Some have mobs that hit insanely hard, others like paper. We havent even gotten into all the mechanics that need to be navigated solo, of which some are outright impossible. So to try and gain any sort consistent experience, in the dungeon solo front, is definitely setting yourself up for failure for ESO. So back to CP, you are trying to play the game focused in a wildly chaotic environment, intended for tanks and healers to accompany you, while also being roughly 3.4 times under the effective CP combat cap. I think, respectfully said, if you adjust your expectations of what you can do and at what levels in ESO, you may find you have less frustration in general. It is THE solo players MMO, but it is also still an MMO. Not every angle is going to be an easy solo ride as well. Something to consider and I hope this helps. Thank you for watching the channel, hang in there, the game gets much better from where you are now. 🙏
Hey can I use this build if I don’t have Gold Road? I’ve been trying to search for builds that don’t require Gold Road dlc. Debating between your 1 bar Templar or Sorc
Just finished getting this build. I'm having trouble with my magicka regen. I'm only 260 CP is that why I'm having mana issues? Still a lot of fun to play, thanks!
Hi there! Do you have 3/3 medicinal use passive under alchemy and are you rolling your tri-pots. Using your potion on cooldown and having that passive, will add significate sustain. In ESO many buffs come from potions and upkeeping those buffs are very important for various builds, including sustain buffs you get from potions. Also, making sure you are in melee range and your overwhelming surge procs are hitting enemies as well. Let me know if you still have issues after both of those and thank you for watching!
@@Dooma I did not have that, and didn't realize to keep potions in rotation. Works great thank you for the advice! Looking forward to seeing future videos and currently leveling an arcanist to try another one of your 1 bar builds!
Hi there! Removing Oakensoul for any other mythic or a full monster set to make it 2 bars is an option for you for the majority of 1 bar setups. Sometimes it may not be worth it to you depending on what you are interested in (mainly keeping things simple) due to you needing to add filler abilities to make back some of the necessary buffs from oakensoul, plus the potential of changing potions which could affect game play as well. That said, sometimes things can also be like putting a hat on a hat (unnecessary overkill) such as adding Pale Order to a set up like this that would result in likely the majority of whatever healing Pale Order provided, being lost due to overhealing. Here is the buff list from Oakensoul as well so you can see what you may want to replace when removing the Mythic: eso-hub.com/en/sets/oakensoul-ring
Thank you! We had to disable all the invite links and remove all posted links temporarily. Looks like that one got overlooked. I removed it and thank you again for letting me know (and watching)!
Hi there! Looks like you are missing Major Fortitude, Intellect, and Endurance from rolling your tri-pots. Many, if not most builds in eso use buffs from potions that are intended to be maintained, especially for the Major sustain buffs (but many builds also use them for damage oriented buffs as well). Getting 3/3 in the Alchemy passive Medicinal Use will make maintaining these buffs with 100% uptime easy when used on cooldown, with a few globals to spare.
QQ, I'm having an impossible time getting last piece, overwhelming surge lightning staff... but I do have a Nirn lightning staff... can I just use that and exchange 2 pieces of armor between sets to balance it out?
Hi there! You should be totally fine. If you can, try to keep Nirn on the Chest/Legs/Shoulders for just a bit more armor. Even if that doesn't work out for you with the pieces you have, you should still be good to go.
@@Dooma Build done. Only tried briefly, seems very survivable and hacks down enemies faster than my old build. I still only get 30k on a target dummy though, 37k on trial dummy. I'm not sure why. Put solar barrage on, jabs and light attacks as fast as I can, dropping a barbed trap every 20 seconds or so.
Ha... had a couple errors on the rings, fixed... managed to get it up to 50k on target dummy. That's only with solar barrage running while I LA attack weave the jabs.
Hi there! You could for sure, but I would swap armor weights around and run Whorl on the body. Surge lets you get away with running medium on the body (Nirn) due to all the extra sustain.
Thanks for the reply :) Running Whorl on body will affect the concept of a sturdy templar in my eyes I think. And despite obvious improvement in terms of dps it will be much less tankier (which can be resolved with warding contigency these days, or old good radiant ward, but still, it will be three button templar). Anyway, thanks for the video, Im enjoying your channel for a long time.
Hi Faded! If the build is the same (you have verified each element matches 1:1) and you are hitting the trial dummy, there shouldnt be much of a difference (especially the no light attack 1 button spam version). This is on u42 PTS so there may be a little bit of difference, but no major gaps. The reason there shouldnt be much of a difference is it is mostly 1 button for ~95% of the time, so there isnt a bunch of room for individual ability in keeping up with different abilities and timers. Its 1 ability, once per second, while keeping Solar Bareage up (only pressed ~3 times per minute). So if there IS some major difference, you may have something fundamentally off, there may be a pacing issue with the length of time you are giving globals, or potentially something significant missing from the build. If you are trying to match any of the damage numbers that included light weaving, that can be highly variable from person to person, as light weaving is a technique that takes some time and practice to get down, and people play at different levels of proficiency with it. I do have something in place for things like this. See #1 here: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq But unfortunately we have Discord temporarily closed to new members due to some attacks going around (we are just letting the dust settle and keeping the server stable for everyone already there.) I hope this helps give a bit of direction for you and thank you for watching!
🙏 Thank you so much! Just catching up from being out from surgery for a few weeks. Really appreciate you taking the time to help someone out in the comments.
Hi there! On the written guide, all the morphed skills are listed. If you click each one, it will show you the base skill it starts at to help out with this for you.
Thank you! This is "Action Duration Reminder" but the game has a similar one built into the game in the settings if you didnt want to use an addon for it.
I do like this build, although I wish at times you would spend a little more time when you go through the "full bar" versions of the same build as it leaves questions imo, especially since the full bar portion doesn't go on your site, such as rotation etc. My biggest one is the inclusion of Ice Comet, I notice that you sill keep Strategic reserve as the slottable CP when your parse shows the ability is used. Doesn't that render SR useless? would we not be better changing it to something like Siphoning Spells to help with our sustained? Also why Ice Comet in the first place and not say the Destro Ulti
Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. Reserve was probably just left there for the parse because there wasnt anything necessary to change it to for the parse. It definitely can and should be changed for that set up to whatever you prefer. You can change that to Siphoning Spells for more sustain in content or Celerity for movement speed if you dont have any sustain issues at all. Comet is there for the dps output it provides. You can use whatever ult you prefer if that isnt for you. The extra set ups were just additional extensions of the build I took the time to put together to give more fun things for people to play under the same general build. Icing on the cake if you will. fun extras. Etc. I didnt take the time drill down into each one and work out a full guide for them. The 2 button set up was the intent for the video.
@@Dooma thank you for the response, no worries about the delay. Thank you for explaining the additional information it makes sense now. I do understand that the intent is on the two bar, I guess it's just my personal preference in wanting a slightly longer explanation of the full build in trying to understand why something works, but no biggie that's what the comment section is for 😅
Hi there! I’m playing through the classes now seeing where we can fit in scribing and general patch updates. I’m doing that over on twitch and when I have a bit built up I will swing back to RU-vid for new builds/updates. You are more than welcome to come check out the play testing any time if that interests you for a bit earlier access to the info.
Thank you Mathias I really like it as well! This is the new skin for Gold Road called - Fractured Glory. It looks like a monster to farm haha: eso-hub.com/en/collectibles/fractured-glory
Been toying around with a few sets for a stamina solo build go to. Kind've how Overwhelming + X (Hexos, Nirn, etc) has been for magicka. Not really loving the Quick Serpent. Any other suggestions? I've been using Phylactery's Grasp, not sure how I feel about it since it's disease damage and single target stamina return.
To be honest Pierre, I havent really ever tried to do the opposite of this. There hasnt been a time yet I believe where I have had a stamina char in light armor and tried to make sustain work for it. If you are wearing medium armor as stam, something like this typically isnt necessary at all and usually any sustain issue that is present can be fixed with a skill change or two to change the rate of use (assuming everything else in place is correct such as food, cp, etc.). The suggestion of changing skills is actually very impactful here and is something I personally do when balancing builds. For an example on how profound 1 skill change can be: Since the game has been hybridized, I have had set ups that were fully not sustainable during the parse. Meaning, I would run completely out of resources and couldnt finish. That same set up, changing 1 single skill, not only solved that issue, but the remaining parses my stamina stayed mostly full. Adjusting the rate of drain for resources with ability selection is very impactful for sustain balancing and definitely is something you want on your radar if you are at the point of min/maxing builds yourself. Good stuff Pierre, love to see it. 💪
@@Dooma Oh man I didn't even really think about potentially changing abilities out for that sustain. I'm so used to borderline infinite sustain with Overwhelming Surge on magicka toons. That's a great perspective, thanks! Also really appreciate taking the time for the detailed reply! Cheers!
Hi Joshua! Oh no not at all. Not if you want to go anywhere even remotely far. I recommend something like instead for that content: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rqHUtgbQCAk.html&t Thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery.
Since we're not using any staff abilities and this is a melee-ranged build, is destro staff really necessary? Maybe swap it for dual daggers or am I wrong?
Hi Saelondo! Great comment and you definitely can! If you check out the screen shot at 6:40 the higher dps set up is actually using double daggers. I didnt suggest it for the main set up so players who may need a little extra assistance in managing resources, can still heavy attack as often as needed to keep up Magicka (if that is needed, which will be different from content to content and person to person.) Using Ghastly Eye Bowls and 2x light pieces, there really isnt any sustain issues using daggers however. So you should be fine. Just check your health values. You may want to throw a health enchant on or move over a handful of attribute points. I personally would suggest Lightning Staff for solo content and Daggers for group content (for everyone, regardless of experience.) Having the lightning staff does also provide other great solo benefits such as being able to proc reaving blows smalls emergency heals from ranged (just general ability to attack from ranged and all that can provide if/when needed.)
lightning staff synergizes well with a templar though, it is nice to have the range option when need be. I am still using the deadly/sergeant's mail combo from a year+ ago. Restoring focus is real handy for the build I use, that extra stam regen is nice for mitigating and solid healing.
To add a bit to what Grim said Deadly + Surge works fine. You will be even more sturdy since Jabs is getting juiced more, but the extra damage source from Nirn really does go a long way. Especially in solo content since everything is dynamic and moving around all over. With deadly, if you arent jabbing, its mostly a dead set here. With Nirn, once it procs, its going it's thing for you for 10 seconds, regardless if you push another button or not. So there is +/- with both options but ultimately, I feel more people will be happier with Nirn over Deadly here.
You should be totally fine! Daggers gives you a little better stats and access to a second enchant/status effect, but unless you are trying to clear sweaty content where you need a little extra umph, you should have no issues.
@@Dooma I'll admit i tried it in vHoF last night. Some tune ups of course cause i wasnt sure how to get it to hit 90k dps. Still dont. But at the final stage of general assembly was hitting 70k dps with staff. Avg was 50k. As a breton. Not bad considering my templar was horrendous before. Thank you so much for your videos. They help a lot. :)
New to the game, but I tried the build with the gear: my set up may be sub optimal as i can only afford blue gear and not everything is on divines, my race is Breton and i dont have enough Cp for strategic reserves. However I noticed that my health recovery is very low, like 430. What am I doing wrong?
Most people who had similar questions did not check while their tri-pots were rolling and where missing the 30% gain from Major Fortitude and/or then did not have their ultimate fully charged to 500. That should help but yours is extremely low. You need to check each element 1 by 1 and see all what is different. Divine traits and the Race arent affecting health recovery here, you have some other things going on you'll have to track down. Rejuv cp. Food. Etc. Since there are a few multiplicative buffs, small things can have big impacts.
