I was given a large watch when I was 12 yrs old and now thats all I can see myself wearing. I will be ordering a 50mm Aragon this month I appreciate the review

Prior to ordering the watch I wasn't feeling so hot, but within a very short period of time I received my Regeneron, and it was like, unbelievable. It just made me better!

I have 9 Aragon watches, mostly "tamer" ones with one 50mm Divemaster. Unbelievable quality. Wouldn't go for their glide clasp though, dangerously sharp on the inside.

I just ordered the bright yellow 43mm Divemaster just after midnight. I was watching Shane's review of the watch on Relative Time and I couldn't help myself. There is a code to get an additional $30 off, it is EVO. I've been itching for a new watch for a while and I just couldn't pass it up. I have little girly wrists at 6.25 inches. My preferred Seiko 5 is 37mm but I do have a Citizen HTM Eco Drive that is 43mm. It has the all black coating on it. It is BIG on my wrist but I'm getting used to it. I'm really looking forward to receiving my bright yellow Aragon Divemaster on October 5th. Thanks for review.

Aragon does a great job on their watches. He got me a couple Times this year with new releases I had to buy them they were just too nice to resist. Especially the dive master 42. These are nice too but I’m trying to resist right now

Love that Divemaster! Just got a yellow dial SD1975 Steeldive, so maybe another colour dial. The lume is epic. But I would have put the regeneron lume on the diver.

Divemasters are great quality for the money. Wing just needs to scale them down to 40mm and cut some of the height. I know there are still a lot of people that like the big watches but I feel like he’s leaving money on the table as watches are trending smaller again.

Does 40mm vs 42mm really make that big of a difference? Genuine question, I have a 7.5 inch wrist so prefer bigger watches.

Aragon prices aren’t just competitive, they are darned cheap. Great for a budget. I wish they weren’t so big and heavy.

Buy one & put on a silicone rubber strap? I received my 43mm today & with the bracelet it’d be like an anchor!🤣 I’ve put several dive watches on silicone. For me it works!👍🏻

Yay...I haven't seen the full video yet but you know the best part? it's 0.56s when we spot the digital calipers for the first time here. That manual one was annoying me each time I saw it. Haha!

The Evo 48 is actually 50mm at the bezel, I love it but it's not for those with small wrists.

Well Dave, believe this or not! I’ve spent most of the afternoon here at home in Australia looking over the Aragon website. The one watch I put in my basket was the YELLOW DIVEMASTER!😱🤣👍🏻 I looked at their tritium range also but I’m currently wearing a Deep Blue tritium!🤪

@@MJFallout HA!🤣 Believe it or not just today I received another Deep Blue! 41mm with the blue dial on a perforated rubber strap! Complete dial lume. Terrific looking watch! They are really good value & great service! 👍🏻

@@andrewd7586 I used to have a few seikos with full lume dials; great, relatable fun they are. I was thinking to get the perforated strap also (on the 41 Daynight Tritdiver). Might as well go all out if the watch is already somewhat unusual in features. But I'm still considering if I'm really 'down with the thickness' so to speak. I know they're a bit thick, but that's the price to pay for the tritium. The website says they're 15mm thick (both sizes) is that accurate, or is it a fudged number?

@@MJFallout Accurate re thickness & specs in general. If you don’t happen to buy the Deep Blue tritium, at least buy a tritium! At night the light show, especially with different colours is 🤤!🤣

You can get $30 off on the Evo with code "evo", bringing it down to $139 - which is insane. And the bezel is 45mm, not 48mm. The full specs are: 45mm bezel 43mm case 50mm lug-to-lug 14mm thick 22mm lug width 122g weight (on Barton Elite Silicone Strap) And it's interesting to note that the Regeneron uses T100 tubes - which is pretty crazy for an automatic watch at its price. And the height/thickness comes from the post/pinion for the hands. It needs to be taller to for the tubes on the hands.

Aragaon makes interesting designs and super cheap prices. But they are ALL just WAY too big. Too thick for sure, and just too long lug to lug for what they need to be. But something for everyone I suppose! I have plenty of seiko powered divers. So I don't feel like I'm really missing out. Nice review, as always! 👍🏻

I believe had Wing put tritium in the evo and raised the price $100 he could have sold a million, IMHO. The day he releases sapphire, ceramic and tritium in one, 42, 45, 48, 50, 55mm, doesn't matter, I will be the first to purchase.

Enjoyed your review, just noticed this watch brand had a look on the web site a fair amount for sale, I’ve been collecting Zelos, Helm and Phoibos watches the last few years. How does this watch brand compare.

I haven't had a chance to check out Helm or Phoibos, but in general Aragon watches are a step below Zelos in quality, but they are also much cheaper. Aragon make great watches for the price, with interesting designs and colors, but the overall finishing and quality isn't the same as watches like Zelos.

Aragon is not bad but acquired taste. It is a more tasteful version of Invicta. Very similar characteristics, big, bold, list price is high and the offer price is vastly discounted from it.

I love the yellow watch. I think it would just about fit on my watch. Many of his watch designs are just too big. I don’t need a watch / Life preserver on my wrist at the same time. Or maybe it’s a dinner plate.?????

Still a rather extended review ;-) "Tritium is just an entirely different ball game" That's certainly true. I have a Ball watch with tritium. In fact they apply this material on all their watches. I love it.

I own a few Aragon Watches. Also the Divemaster EVO 4 (the Turquoise-Model) and the ARAGON Regeneron T100 Skeleton (the Pink-Model). I’m thrilled with both watches. 😊 A little more from the EVO 4! I like the Lumicast - indices and the Tritium - indices, but also the normal Lumen - indices. However, the decisive factors for me are design, size / weight, functions and the price-performance ratio. All this is right with Aragon. Wing does a great job. I’m looking forward to the next models. Watch fan ⏱

Dave, *thank you* for making this vid. I have never heard of this brand and these look like great watches for the money. I have about 6 picked out because they're such a great bargain! I rarely get my watches wet, so the depth "rating" really isn't of importance to me.

That is the only reason I don’t have one of their watches is the size. Anything larger then a 39mm I think looks too large on my 7 1/8 wrist and anything over 43mm is just clown shoes. They have several designs I absolutely love but I feel they would never get worn because they are too big.

Thanks for the review. I have a bunch of their watches. Many I own have issues with haze under the crystals after a while. Brand new watches never exposed to moisture and treated the same as other brands. I stopped buying them for that reason. No automatic watch should have to be opened up to clean film from under a watch crystal. When asked about this issue for years .. crickets. The lume is not that great on these watches. Try putting it up against a ZELOS. If you ever get the time it would be cool seeing the Lumicast model in one of the lume war lineups. Thanks again.

@@geebsctown4427 I own six dozen watches from Wing since the Android days + Aragon. Myself and friends of mine have ongoing issues with fog and haze. I'm pushing upwards of 350 + watches. I don't buy Aragon much anymore for this reason and I prefer smaller watches. All my friends have soured on the brand as well with the same issue. Of course the Aragon fan boys are going to tell you Wing can't do any wrong. I get that. I was once there before, having purchased so many through the years I was once sucked in, but have since moved on to other, better brands like ZELOS, Borealis, OMEGA, etc.

I believe the fog I’d from out gassing from the plastic movement holders. This was a known issue with Android/Aragon, Some Invicatas and a couple other brands a few years ago. I wasn’t aware it was still a thing. I only own one Android dive master, and it’s a great watch for the dollar spent, I don’t own any Aragon’s. I like some of the styles but they are just too big for my tastes these days, I hardly ever wear my Android (45mm) for that reason.

A bit too big for me, but the yellow Divemaster looks amazing, simple but fun! 👏 And love the yellow colourway. The Regeneron is cool, but it doesn't beat the fun yellow dial od the Divemaster.

love my evo4 divemaster. However, I’m trying to get either a NATO or silicone or rubber strap and because the case is so thick/curved, I can’t see how a different band will attach. Anyone else have experience witht this? Love the watch otherwise

Try getting some curved springbars. Those usually give you enough extra clearance to fit different straps.

I will never buy another Aragon and I own quite a few. All of a sudden Wing offers Sapphire, milled clasps and the lume treatments at the same and even smaller price points of the pieces I've purchased without these now standard offerings.... I will stick with the Aliexpress offerings now. At least you know where you stand.

I really, really like Aragon.....There is no better value, imo. However, most of Wing's watches are too large for me. The DM42 is pushing the limit for me, personally.

I have both watches and really enjoy them both. However, there is no comparison to lume and tritium. Lume to me is the most overrated feature on a watch. I see lume as a gimmick. I have yet to own a lumed watch the can be used at night, and I have Seikos. etc. Tritium on the other had is awesome!

Excellent lume gets you maybe 90 minutes. Tritium gets you decades. There’s a reason it’s used in gun sights and scopes.

IMO. Wings Aragon is a sad drop off from when they were called Android His over the top styling is not in style. Never was really. Guess he wants to be the now bizarre Invicta since he spent so much time on ShopNBC pawning his watches Wing. Go back to your roots bro

I had been contemplating that skeleton Regeneron already. But they're quite chunky monkies so I'm just not sure. Would've loved to seen that one on wrist, you only did the other one!
