We stayed in an AirBNB in the 6th arrondissement. It was located on the Left Bank, in the heart of the lively Montparnasse district. It was great because there was easy access to the bus stops, which we used to get all around the city.
@@WEAREHAVINGAGOODTIME Normal it's an old French proverb, not English or US. ^^ But, Perhaps you have an equivalent in English for the idea expressed? Literal translation in English: "Travel broadens youth"
@@clio2rsminicup I don't think we have anything similar here in the U.S. But I will definitely be using *this* French one from now on. It really captures the essence of why we love to travel with our kids. There is so much to learn by leaving home and seeing what else is out there in the world.
@@WEAREHAVINGAGOODTIME I can confirm that. Once a young adult, your children will be open to the World and will therefore have a much easier time adapting wherever they choose to live than the young adult who will not have (much) moved from home. And in addition, they have and will have even more once they are adults, a general culture and life skills much superior to people their age who will not have moved from home. This will necessarily make it easier for them at school and once they are adults in their job. Tell them from Bruno, 56 years old, living in the south of France (Paris is our beautiful Capitale but in no way the entire "Belle France" ^^) that they are very lucky to have parents like you! 😄
@@clio2rsminicup Thanks so much for sharing your kind words and watching our vlog Bruno! And we'd love to see the south of France in the future, we know there is soooo much more to France to experience outside the city of Paris. Cheers to more adventures ahead!
How much time did you spend at the Luxembourg gardens? Also did you walk from Luxembourg to Norte dame to louvre ? How much time did you spend at the louvre ?
We LOVED the Luxembourg gardens, it was one of the surprising highlights of our entire trip. It was perfect place for our girls to run around and play. From there we took a ~10 min bus ride to the Notre Dame. And then we walked to the Louvre (a beautiful 20 minutes stroll by the river). We spent about 2 hours hanging outside the Louvre, mostly relaxing in the shade and avoiding the summer heat.
