Two for the Road is a series in which two artists touring together chat about playing shows, life backstage, and more. The latest installment of the series features Creed's Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti chatting with 3 Doors Down's Brad Arnold and Chris Henderson.
Creed are set to embark on a massive reunion tour this summer and fall, with 3 Doors Down as direct support on most dates. Ahead of the extensive outing, Creed's Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti caught up with 3 Doors Down's Brad Arnold and Chris Henderson via Zoom for Consequence's Two for the Road series.
In their Two for the Road conversation (watch above), the Creed and 3 Doors Down members discuss the first time they heard each other's music, their early tours together, what they're looking forward to the most about these upcoming tours, their response to music critics, and more.
Tremonti and Stapp also shared a few real-life "Spinal Tap" moments that happened to Creed onstage over the years, including one that found Stapp in a hilarious predicament.

Got sober in 96 , Creed was there for me. Met my wife in 04 , 3-Doors Down were there for us. We'll be in Pine knob for both of you 😊😊😊😊😊

It’s crazy seeing all these 90’s and 2000’s bands coming back in style. Music goes in and out of style. Rock is coming back strong I feel it.

Saw the show at PNC in NJ 2 days ago. WOW.....saw 4 shows back during the first 3 albums but missed the Full Circle tour unfortunately. Felt lie old times, actually better. Both 3 Doors Down and Creed were AMAZING. Incredible energy, singing/sound/playing and set lists. Sold out crowd of 17,500 and everyone was having the time of their lives. Hats off to both bands for providing some much needed positivity and musical enjoyment. The talent is incredible, Scotts 2 recent solo albums are killer and Tremont's albums are awesome. Thanks for keeping rock alive and well fellas. Maybe this tour sparks some songs for another Creed album in the future.

Got to see the " summer of 99" Saturday night in va beach. Awsome show.. I have to admit Brad from 3 doors down said repeat after me " I AM THE ONE JESUS LOVES" that statement from him gave me a reason to be alive ( i am going through depression issue, but the message gave me some faith back. Thanks Brad

I Love that Mark refused to pretend to play to a track at the Superbowl halftime show. He insisted on having real amps so he could play live.

Well they are reminiscing on the past when Scott was on drugs and going through mental health issues. Maybe he doesn’t have much positive to say. So glad that he is doing better now and that we get to see creed again!

A 6 Hour Metallica / Creed / 3 Doors Down Concert where all 3 Bands get 2 Hours Each of Music to Play would litterally be a Stadium Tour . It would be Sold Out around the World and easily rival Taylor Swift's Eras Tour . The Money Generated would be over a Billion easily . The World is craving such a Ticket . It'd be nice to have sometimes the other two members of creed as well as much as I love the whole band the other two members the drummer and the bassist and also the third guy Eric fieldman I think his name is since he's been helping and been a member of Creed 2 it'd be nice to see those other three guys in Creed and their interviews as well
