Lynette Fromme and Dianne Lake, who lived with the so-called "Manson Family" for years, spoke to ABC News about how the group's 1969 murders shaped their lives and impacted American culture.
Squeaky is a true psychopath. Watch the Robert Hendrickson documentary from 1973 called MANSON. Squeaky openly states that there's "nothing wrong with killing." A true nut case.
I am shocked that she is free and not regreting a thing, and thinking that manson should be free, while girls who truly regret what they have done sit in prison
Squeaky still seems like a danger to society since she is still in Love with Manson! There is too much glee in her eyes! She should still be locked up.
@@KDL861 I guess she did her time. She along with David Arthur Bremmer, and Sara Jane Moore are on a United States Secret Service watch list. They are prohibited from attending political events. The late Sandra Goode when she was living in Fresno California was not allowed to visit Charles Manson when he was at the state prison in Corcoran, California which is near Bakersfield.
Frank Denardo I guess I’m thinking trying to kill s president is an unforgivable crime. I don’t know the law, but in my opinion she should be in for life! Just because she missed doesn’t mean she’s not a threat anymore. Law enforcement should’ve set a precedent for the whole of America and the world. I understand she’s on a watch list, but what the heck? 🤬
@@darrentimlin9719 oh definitely, one of the best coming of age and historical fiction books I've ever read👌 it Is very controversial as you can imagine and pretty graphic but the writing and the way this author Made feel like you were experiencing everything through the protagonist point of view
Sharon was so beautiful and was so happy her little baby would be born soon. People say she was so sweet and you can see that in her pictures. She had a little nursery she decorated for the baby and would have been such a wonderful mother. People that are fans of Manson are pure garbage. You look at what they did to all those people, but it's Sharon that bothered me the most. She was begging Susan Atkins to not kill her and her baby and Sharon looked at her and said " Look bitch, I don't care about you or your baby" then proceeded to stab her and her unborn baby to death. Just absolutely incomprehensible the evil in these monsters. My heart is beyond broken for all the victims, but like I said, it was Sharon's death that bothers me the most.
Dox Holiday The victims had all been dead for close to 10 hours before their bodies were discovered. Her baby could have only survived for up to 20 minutes inside of her after she passed. Very sad.
Dox Holiday actually, if they had been able to do an emergency caesarean 20 minutes after the mother’s’ death, they could have saved the baby. But Sharon wasn’t even found until about 7/8 hours after her death.
I’m glad that woman got help. And that she got adopted. I can’t imagine how horrible being in a cult is. Squeaky shouldn’t be out and about. She’s still brainwashed.
@Wintruz she tried to murder someone ding dong. It’s not “thinking differently” it’s attempted murder. The other former Manson person didn’t attempt murder
Squeaky attempted assassination on Ford for Charlie and begged to have him at trial. Then when she learned he had testicular cancer, she escaped prison to see him and was recaptured. After getting paroled, she married a former convict murderer who also loved Charles Manson and aspired to be like him. The two live in upstate NY and walk their dogs and live a quiet life in a house decorated by skulls. Sick. Watch the Manson lost tapes and see how she is preparing to kill for Charlie. They should never have let her out. The only thing that led to her release was the fact that the gun didn’t go off and she claimed to have discharged a bullet prior to faking an attempt. They found a shell casing in her apt and I guess they believed her but I wouldn’t put it past her to kill Dianne for this and other interviews. She is not stable.
I read somewhere that she was only let out on parole because she has really bad schizophrenia and couldn’t be controlled. I’m not sure if that was a very reliable website though
@Dakoda Fisher i literally said "idk if that was a reliable source" but it was in an article and 3 documentaries i've watched about the members and their lives. i didn't make any of it up
@Dakoda Fisher i have no idea i literally stopped watching more documentaries after they kept saying that bc it was sketchy. like they are definitely keeping some secret from the public about her if they can keep notorious serial killers in cells for life but not her
That’s Squeaky? The red haired girl? Like wow she doesn’t look anything like she did back then She’s the only one who didn’t learn her lesson, The main three girls all “learned” their lessons and understood why they were in jail yet Squeaky didn’t.. and that’s scary
Lynnette never says anything about the terror Tate went through , her last 15 minutes of life were unimaginable being the last to die pleading for her baby’s life to a woman who had earlier given birth ( Atkins ) lake heard first hand about the murders the day after by the murderers themselves. That’s what made her a witness she was not a distant family member trying to sell a book
@@renatawarec Well another fact You just do not know what you are talking about as earlyer on in this comment section.... Lets see here ...eeeuhh MANSON wasnt wasnt Physically there neither, .....
Neither Lynette or Sandra Good ever voiced any sympathy for the victims or their families. Quite the opposite. They simply didn’t care about what any of them went through, and saw them as a means to an end. Pawns in their attention-seeking game. I think they are both interesting, but extremely messed up mentally and emotionally. There’s something deeply wrong with both of them and my guess is that was the case long before either of them met Manson.
@@bijeY2K Leslie Van Houton requested in May 2020 to be released from prison after the covid pandemic struck her prison one of Leslie's inmates had caught the virus this motivated her to ask for release from prison but it was denied in July 2020 Leslie had a parole hearing which then had a 120 day process afterwards finally on Saturday November 28th 2020 Leslie Van Houton was denied parole by a member of the board who had in fact denied her release from prison once before
Loved Dianne Lakes book “Member of the Family” it really dove me into the 1960s and place me into her shoes and put things into perspective of how things were back there and how sadistic Manson was. You guys should def check it out!
People always say oh he didn't say that. HE ADMITS IT. The girls shaved there heads for him . You don't do that for someone you arnt devoted too. ALSO YOU KNOW MURDER
@@gingerbaker4390 Charlie had no idea he was playing into the prosecution hands when he played his little games. It just showed how much control and influence he really had
I read Diana's book and I can only say thank God that she was not among the girl's that Mason chose to go to that house that fateful night. Her story could have been very different to what it is today.
Why do you suppose that ? ... If all things happen for a reason God's grace was not needed here . As thy will be done .wonder what we have learnt from this as a global society?.
People do sick things, they have free will. If you don’t believe in anything that’s fine, but you haven’t died so you have no idea what is beyond this world. Comments like this are just stupid.
Scary that these girls are around 10 years older than me. Squeaky was released from Ft Worth. I was shocked to find out she was being held here. She seems like she is still on acid.
not really, those girls were willing to do that and they made a ton of money off of it. If it were not for Hugh Hefner, Kendra Wilkinson would still be in San Diego waiting tables somewhere trying to make ends meet. He kick started and opened a lot of doors for plenty of those willing girls.
Charlie tried to give Snake(Dianne) back to her parents and later to Gary Hinman . She kept running back to him He didn't want her around any more because she was acting out because he got bored with sleeping with her and replaced her as Concubine No 1
Squeaky sounds a little nuts. Why did she sound disappointed that he didn't order her to murder someone?? Still in love with him. AFTER ORDERING PEOPLE TO KILL OTHERS!! What the hell is wrong with her.
I think it’s because she was pregnant and more known than the rest of the victims. But I completely agree. People also don’t talk enough about 18 year old Steven parent. He was just trying to drive home from a friends house. I’m about to be 20 and I can’t imagine that being how I die.
I am a huge fan of the musical Assassins. In which Squeaky is a character, I always believed that her craziness was an over-exageration. But now that I see this, she is most definately insane and out of her mind. Sondheim got her just right, which is honestly terryfing.
Oh yeah, she's been loony tunes the whole time. I can remember seeing her interviewed in the 80's and she freaked out on the interviewer once his questions started making her question her own thinking. I don't remember who the guy was, Geraldo maybe, but she kicked him out her house.
@@TheIndependentLens You’re thinking of Sandra Good, Squeaky’s bestest (aside from Manson). It was not Geraldo. Early 90s. Sandra went in, for a different crime, around the same time as Lynette but was released much sooner. Lynette never did an interview outside of prison back then.
@@TheIndependentLens There are a couple of different videos of Sandy being interviewed sometime after her release when she was living in Vermont. Steve Dunleavy was one of the reporters who she sat with. He was more of a tabloid journalist and worked for a show called A Current Affair. Robert Downey Jr.’s character in the movie Natural Born Killers was supposedly partially based on him. That interview with Sandra became very contentious. There’s another one with a younger reporter from either the same tabloid show or similar which also became tense but that reporter wasn’t quite as over the top as Dunleavy.
I had an Asian Cooking night class at Sacramento State U with Sandy Good. She used to ask me to give her a ride home after class because my apartment was about 3 blocks from her place. The class ended and Sandy thanked me for all the rides and asked me if I'd come up to her apartment so that her and her roommate Squeaky could show me a very very good time. I declined the offer. That summer Squeaky pointed a pistol at Gerald Ford at the State Capitol. No.... I did not know who either of them were.
Everyone seems to forget about Stephen Parent who was the first one killed on the first night before Sharon and her friends- he was the Caretaker of 10050 Cieclo Drive
he was just there to sell a stolen radio to the caretaker I think his murder was the worst because he didn't have anything to do with anyone at the house he didn't even know the caretaker that well
I was in elementary school when this went down and thought Donna Douglas ( Elly Mae ) was the pretty blond who was killed. I dont know why I thought that but still remember a great sadness.
Some one on another page said Charlie had it hard and never got a chance because of his hard life. I call bullshit! Lots of people have been abused, bullied, rapped, molested and other horrific shit and went on to have predictive lives. They all had choices and they choose poorly. They made people who had nothing to do with there pain pay for it. They need to rot in prison.
You hope with old age comes perspective! Not where sneaky ‘squeaky’ is concerned! What an absolute waste of space that woman is. She is either desperate for attention or she is just a pathetic excuse for a human being!!!
It's not about them. If you read about Squeaky her dad was crazy, neglectful and irresponsibly banished her from home over a mild disagreement. You don't make your child homeless for any reason let alone a mild disagreement. She has no reason to lie about her father after all these years. Esp because it was such a minor thing if it was more she could have exaggerated to get sympathy. Hence I believe her. So my point is: terrible parents. Did. This. Including Manson's. Read about how he was sentenced to decades imprisonment for cashing in a cheque from gambling. Is that a miscarriage of justice? Yes. Would it cause an intelligent person to lose it and resent the system and abuse drugs as soon as they could, given the rest of his history and upbringing? Yes. I'm not apologizing. I'm saying this is not a case where you can say "if they hadn't met this person" the people in authority with responsibility failed every one of the group
@@frivolityrestores9608 Sharon Tate was only two weeks away from giving birth when she was killed by members of the Charles Manson family all of the culprits were eventually caught and charged in connection with the murders criminal proceedings began in June 1970 the trial lasted for over nine months until late March 1971 when Charles Manson and three women accomplices of his group were sentenced to death by gas chamber but had their sentences commuttted into life in prison in early 1972
Squeaky and Sandy both still very loopy and brainwashed by Manson, even years after his death. So messed up man. Squeaky as a teenager stapled all up her arm without showing an ounce of feeling, the girl really got messed up by that father of hers
