Monster Hunter World has approximately 1 hour and 3 minutes of unskippable cutscenes starting from character creation to slaying Xeno'jiiva. Instead of sitting and waiting for the cutscenes to finish (or using the Cutscene Skip Mod), what if we did a SECOND speedrun during the cutscenes? Monster Hunter Rise Magnamalo% takes about that long... so let's try it!

@@JalBagel Right? I've been a dual blades user since 3u but I feel like we're sorely lacking in other fast weapons (though I did pick up bow back when World came out. I guess stamina and element is just my thing now 😭)

you should add the rise split horizontally on the bottom. I'm a world player and would've liked seeing the names in rise as you go.

That's some insane knowledge and training, recently finished the main game and the time you took on those elder dragons is insane, Teostra took me more than 20mins (I hate him), can't tell if the SnS is just too good for this or if I'm awfully bad with the hammer & clutch claw

Is there a specific reason why Rise is in Japanese but World is in English? Is this one of these cases where certain language versions are faster or slower to run?

In Rise, text clearing is faster in Japanese than other languages. In World, text clearing is faster at higher framerates. It doesn't seem text language plays any impact on it.

It doesnt really, but I could tell early on that with the performance issues I was having with Rise I wouldnt finish on time, so I started playing wherever I could lol. I was running Rise on the same PC as streaming/recording so it was struggling. If I do this again, I'd like to do it with a PS5.
