Trains are great and people should use them more since the price of gas and walk some . Yeah I agree people here in Florida make their own rules in cars and going around gates as the cameras snap their photo .
Unfortunately, people often underestimate the stark contrast between the speeds of Brightline and ordinary freight trains. Many drivers are impatient and choose to endanger themselves by going around the gates instead of waiting the extra few seconds for the train to pass. Although it's evident that something needs to be done to make the grade crossings safer, I wouldn't blame the railroad for its reputation.
