These are two nice waltzes - The Greenwood Tree and The Orkney Rope Waltz. I hope you enjoy them. I understand that the Orkney Rope Waltz is played on the Island of Orkney, where it is simply known as, the Rope Waltz :-)
My friend Jon and I play folk music in the Royal Derby Hospital to entertain the people passing up and down the corridor by the lifts. We collect money on behalf of an organisation within the hospital called "Air Arts".
Air Arts mission statement :-
Air Arts is the arts charity for University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. We deliver a wide ranging programme of arts and creative activities for patients, staff and visitors to improve the hospital experience and support wellbeing.
One day we turned up to play and they videoed a few tunes to include on their internal television system. I thought you might like to see them too.
