The moment I added Wizardry to the the final campus map not only did i start getting the metor storms but also lifemuncher invasions. 100% its tied to the wizardry class.
I think the way the invaders work is that they are tied to certain courses, but a campus can only have one kind of invader coming in. So archaeology, wizardry, academic exercise, and knight school can all cause invasions - but if you have two or more of these courses, you will only get the invader type from the first course you added. However, I haven't fully tested this, so I could be wrong on that.
I think you're right about it being which course you add first. I had Archaeology first at my university and then added Knights later. I only got the Archaeology invaders. No Knight invaders ever came.
Great video! I played through Breaking Point again, using Dark Art from the beginning, and never had a single invasion. I'm pretty sure that's not a thing, at least with Dark Art anyway. I ended up running 24 Dark Art students, 24 Funny Business students, 24 Countercultural students, and 16 Money Wangling students. Two Lecture Theatres and one classroom per class, except Money Wangling which had one of each, making all of them perfectly self contained. It worked out quite well.
I added Wizardry to Two Point University, not only did I get invasions but I also got the "Charming" weather. I had Countercultrual, General Knowledge, Gastronomy and Scientography courses running. Can't remember off hand how many students per course. But the invasions and weather got so bad that I had to redo the whole TPU scenario. ToT
I got Life Munchers on the Two Point University Campus(Last one). I was also shocked to get them since we are not in Spiffinmoore. Needed to train my Janitors with Security to stop them sabotaging my school.
I got something similar when I tried to add Academic Exercise to Two Point University - it introduced Jumbo sports fans. The campus doesn't create the invaders, the student body does.
Thank you for all these information and btw what does 16 students incoming class mean? Do I need to make 16 students enroll every year, dark arts and wizardry respectively?
Love your content man! You completely broke the game :D If you ever run out of ideas for content: Do 3-star guides for the harder campuses (5-10min long, which courses to take here, course size for the map, special things to keep an eye on, and so on) ;)
My current video content plans for the base game include a deep dive of the other classes, a video on the Gym, a video on the patch notes (coming tomorrow) finally finished by a livestream playthrough of a sandbox campus on "difficult" Of course, once DLC is released, I'll be covering that as well with additional videos, in much the same way I did with Two Point Hospital.
