18:17 "rubber hose animation" is a term used to describe the bendy hose-like limbs common in old cartoons, where characters are drawn without elbows or other joints.
I re-started CONTROL as a leadup to the AW2 DLC/Firebreak and I already got to the Ashtray Maze, man Remedy games are such a blast! Hoping for the best for Firebreak/CONTROL 2
47:59 I did finally get Mario Kart this month due to the holiday bundle. I needed to replace my Switch Lite so I figured it was a good deal. I wonder if the holiday bundle counts for October sales report
Huber, NPD/Circana is only USA, just cause College football is top seller that's only one country, Wukong sold a minimum of 80% of it's copies in China lol. It really annoys me how Americans forget the world exists.
Not shocked to hear Isla is a Mothership fan. I’m the kind of person who buys TTRPGs just to read through them and the zines have been so evocative, really impressive work
I love Huber but that’s always one of his worst takes. In Nioh 1 & 2, you can pick up loot, it doesn’t just show up in your inventory. Plus it is color coded to make it easier to distinguish quality/level before you even pick it up. Also forging and upgrading gear is optional. Apart from the tutorial, you don’t have to used it at all. Imo, Nioh 2 has the best combat gameplay out of any souls-like including FromSoftware games. They are amazing games if you haven’t given them a chance.
@@elementInfinitiumthere are many filters you can use. By quality, level, element etc… each piece of gear has its own tab, so you’re not seeing swords mixed with helmets mixed with bows. The shop even has a “sell all” option, you’ll sell everything in the inventory except what you have equipped. Easy 👌
1:04:28 if the name Neva is a Spanish word as in the Spanish word for Snow then there's just one pronunciation. It's the Gris studio and Gris is Spanish for grey. It's a Spanish speaking studio.
@@Neon_Bayhem just wanted to expand on your point about the word "neva" being related to the word "nieve" in Spanish, which I don't think it's really the case cause neither of pronunciations the allies referred on the video sounds similar to how nieve is pronounced in Spanish. I'm not trying to invalidate your point, just expanding on it. EDIT: typo
@@Richardlucky the game is called Neva which is "to snow" so is more like a verb while nieve is the noun. But I've looked it up and apparently Neva is also used as a girl's name in Spanish and in that instance it means "white snow". I just knew the "to snow" meaning.
