Having recently jumped heavily into working on cnc inlays after some test pieces I wanted to make something for real, so I pulled the logo for a new restaurant that was about to open in our town and made them a gift...super nice people...if you are in the Rochester Mn area check them out!
This project was done with a 30 degree v bit, though that big of an angle is limiting on fine detail. Once I figured out how to make a tapered ball nose work with Vectric's new VCarve Inlay toolpath I've used a 10.5 degree bits ever since, see my video below on that...
