Two (Sleeping At Last) - Miraculous Ladybug (Animatic/Animation) 

When Ladybug showed her identity, dude I'm gasped, all the storyline was so interestimg and beuatiful, you did it perfectly 🤧💖👌🏻

Wanna know the best part of this animatic? This song is based on the Enneagram Theory, a sort of "Personality Type" test (really interesting, similar to MBTI, if u want to check it out). And this song specifically, fits into Marinette's character. Acording to many fans, she falls into the Type 2w3: she's extremely attentive and attached to others. She tend to suppress their own negative emotions, which, when done frequently, can lead to high levels of stress or unexpected outbursts. This is clearly reflected thoughtout the last seasons & specials. The pressure of being the superhero Paris needs doesnt allow her to vent, date other people or even spare time for herself. When Ryan (Sleeping at Last) wrote the album, he intended each song to be something each type needed to hear. This particular song can be interpreted in two ways: the "Two" speaking to someone (offering their service & unconditional help), or, someone speaking to the Two. Two's are not as accustomed to asking for help, nor hearing someone asks how they are doing or offers them anything they need. This animatic managed to project that Adrien could definetelly fulfill the role of reasurring Ladybug, either givin her a shoulder to cry on or basically saying "Im here for you, for whatever you need me "

Okay but I LOVE how it starts off with Adrien and Ladybug. For each of them, that's their mask, Adrien loves being Chat Noir as that's when he can mess up, and joke around that is who he sees himself as. In opposite Marinette is much more comfortable without the responsibilities that come with being Ladybug and now the guardian. I think the fact that each was able to remove their "mask" to each other is amazing and shows how they view themselves. That is why their interactions as Marinette and Chat Noir are my favorite in the show, they each are able to be vulnerable with each other while still being true to who they are.

I can sense and understand every motion, I feel every emotion, it's easy to understand yet interesting and captivating too. And the song choice? It's perfect for Adrien. The selflessness, the pain, the brokenness, the desire to help Ladybug instead of asking for help himself. The story is genius too--I can't get over how flawlessly you animated a song that represents a rather toxic form of love and made it healthy and wonderful instead. I know how difficult it is to change the meaning of a song through context and accompanying art because I've tried to do it, and it blows me away how well you did this. This is a flawless masterpiece. Thank you.

I'd never heard this song before, but WOW you did it justice. Translating a story through pictures to the words of the song is no easy feat, but you made something I couldn't pull my eyes from. I especially appreciated the smaller movements of body language that add such meaning and detail.
