This goes to show how much I don't know about Hawaii. When I saw the video title I thought I was going to click on a snorkeling how-to guide that was two steps long... Which I must admit I was wondering that was going to work 😁😂😂😂
2 step snorkel guide: Insert tube, breath thru mouth. There you go, a freebie lesson :) Yep, this isn't a commonly known area outside the Big Island and you have to hear about it from someone before you think of looking it up. But it is aptly named thanks to the entry point. You could scramble up other areas, but with all that lava rock and surge it's pretty easy to get pushed into positions you'd rather not be in. I think simply calling it Honaunau Bay would be prettier. Still waiting for it to warm up here in Maryland. Take care.
