I do my homework - I listen to Two Steps From Hell. I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner - I listen to Two Steps From Hell. I do my free time - I listen to Two Steps From Hell. I go to school - I listen to Two Steps From Hell. My favorite activity - Listening to Two Steps From Hell. I LOVE Two Steps From Hell.
Thomas Bergersen and Two Steps from Hell = the perfect combination! How many indescribable sensations these songs of a wonderful quality can awaken in me! Once again, congratulations to Mr. Thomas and the Capellen Orchestra & Choir as well as Two Steps From Hell! 👍👍👍
Here Again. I've Found My Inner Strength. These Heavenly Tones, Encircle My Very Core... Thanks Again for the upload to the "Soundtracks of my Existence."
Artyom Metro tbh, they could probably make my grandmother drinking coffee in the morning more epic than half of the movies from 2016. They are really good at that kind of thing.
+Kenny Smithson Thank you for this idea! I've been learning how to make cinematic music. I think it would be cool if I did videos with the music I make on something as simple as making a PB&J lmao. What you all think? good idea? Would you watch it? honestly asking.
I don't know totally why, but this is my favorite song of the album. Maybe it's the lightheartedness and adventure I hear in it. It paints vivid pictures in my mind, brings back good memories, and gives me a boost of confidence every time I listen. Thomas Bergersen is amazing: he can spur us to action with a simple tune.
When I close my eyes, I feel the grass waves. Peace. Trees, beautiful nature. The water falls. Everyone smiling. No wars. I feel poitivity. This is amazing.
So there I was, playing Asphalt 8 while listening to Creation of Earth, attempting to gain the achievement of not crashing in a particular race, when suddenly my phone vibrates. I do not pause the game, grab it, look at it, and almost crash. Here I am now, with the game on pause to tell you this. Thank you, TSFH.
dr. Light Epic story! At first, I thought you were going to say, in accordance with your reply to Demon Hunter: "So there I was.... at the mercy of THREE, monstrous, trolls!" XD Mae govannen, Galad.
One of my top 3 favorites from the new album. It's been said thousands of times but it's always worth saying again: Thomas Bergersen is a musical genius.
By far the best track of the new album. This brings such vivid imagery to the mind. Cantering on horseback through the Scottish highlands. Or any such imagery. Truly inspired.
Prague.... 2018... Thanks my Lord!!!! Thank for you Two Steps from Hell to make my dream come true... It will be eternal and the most emotional concert in my life.
Thank you TSFH. Your music pushed me to achieve my goal of hitting a mile and a half at 9 minutes (on an inside track). Now to do that on a track outside in the AM. Im going to be the fastest man alive.
This music helped me during the toughest times in my life. Quitting benzos was pure hell and lasted for YEARS. Music like this helped me get through it. I'd dance out my rage at the doctors who told me these drugs were "safe" - and were in reality as addictive as heroin and 10 times harder to quit. I'd dance the anger at physicians I trusted who promise to "Do no harm", the grief at 20 years lost to a "disability" that mostly disappeared when I got OFF the meds. Then I'd dance in the joy at how much stronger quitting had made me. I recovered most of my health and got my life back. Thanks Two Steps From Hell! (I'm guessing you too visited Hell so often you have a frequent flyer discount to write such powerfully healing music.) It DOES strengthen you when you need it. Many thanks.
im a silent listener - sorry for my bad grammar, i cant write properly in english, So many years i listened to TSFH, but this track make me imagine, that im going home, for a long journey to see my family. So touching, Thanks TSFH, make my life so meaningful.
What a sweet chanting !!! amazing!!! complete love, affection, excitement, and happiness, Recalling pleasant incidents, experiences, and feelings from a remote past. Goosebumps!!!
Thomas pocos amigos comparten el gusto por escuchar melodías diferentes, te critican y te dicen que estas loco, pero cuando escuchan a Bergersen es distinto, quien no te escucha no sabe lo que se pierde, eres un Maestro
Just when this song played in my head, BOOM! I saw it among the uploads. Coincidence? I think so! Also, has a strong resemblance to "Last of The Mohicans" and "Winterspell". I love it! :)
Who could ever dislike such a magical art?? This song speaks whole existence and magic of it. I suppose it's too powerful for those who push the 👎 button 🤷♀️
Absolutely stunning. I love how each song from TSFH can bring out so many different emotions and leaves it open to interpretation; thousands of people could all hear the same song and different imagery could come to mind for each of them. Keep up the great work!
Splendid!!! Reminds me of HTTYD, so beautiful!!! I imagined myself soaring above the skies and flying past the surrounding mountains as the wind blows past my face.
so i play piano by ear and i played this song But i mixed in the gale and played it proudly! ....thats...thats the first time i played the piano crying with tears of pride and joy ...but apperently i wasn't alone in the empty chapel.... my parents where just sitting there yelling out "odins name son...thats so beautiful...grandpa would be so proud!!!" OMG you guys the water works just came out!!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!
Glad to hear this new album of 2 steps from hell. Whenever somebody ask me for some epic music, i always tell them 2 Steps from Hell. such a great group :)
Listening to their music (i find both Thomas AND Nick to be AMAZING composers) one can realize what ART really is. It's one thing to create music for the masses/money and it's a totally different adventure to project a part of your heart into sounds while expecting nothing in return. Thank you for your relentless efforts to bring a ray of light into the life of so many! Here's to music, may it never stop bringing balance to the mind and soul.
kuzia1984 Well said! I read in an interview that Thomas /does/ do it for the love of the music, but he has more heart in his solo albums as opposed to ones like this. But you are correct on loving Nick's and Thomas' both, in equality. They are not clones, they are not the same person. They are 'brothers', and although brothers do things together, each are different. Aye, here's to them. May the Music make you Braver!
While i mostly agree with you, i wouldn't say that Thomas puts more heart into his solo projects. My guess is that they have to follow a certain pattern when it comes to music released under the TSFH name while when going solo, they each follow their own distinctive style (which probably evolved during their whole TSFH saga).
starburstmagazine.com Mm, all your points stand. On my part, perhaps this is the truth-distorting effect that occurs when it is passed from ear to ear, and the story changes more each time. Sorry about that. What I meant was directly from this words, but hadn't relooked it up to quote him. Here is the interview with Thomas. I love it that, even though its 2013, he does interviews. He doesn't have to, but he does. Long live TSFH!
"They say, that up north, the trees tell no lies. For he who lies in the snow, freezing, that is a blessing. They usually find their way back home. Through the torrents of chilling wind, and volleys of snow and hail, they come home. Those lost, weary travelers know not where in the world they are, but that they are surrounded by snow. The trees, and their truthful ways assist them on their way down the icy peak. Because, as those lost souls look up, they see life reflected in the branches and needles of those arboreal guardians. They see, for as long as they can look out into the slopes of our snowy mountain, *Evergreen* (cobbled together a short story of sorts. Thought about evergreen trees, and snowy peaks, and blizzards. This popped out. What do you all think?)
Humble_Lion I enjoyed it! You provided accurate scenery. I always love to read epic/descriptive tales when listening to TSFH. After Liking and reporting to the Notification Squad and listening to this in full blast with surround sound speakers of course. Thank you so much for creating this! Have you written often?
The scientist in me enjoyed seeing you use the word, 'aboreal', or rather, boreal. You actually brought pictures of Amaria, the fictious land of their album, into my head. I'm even thinking of writing one now! :D I'm a writer, myself. Do not worry, I shall not copy off yours, wouldn't dream of it. But the title, is, after all, Evergreen. Surprised no one's written a Christmas one yet!
It was amazing. I love the fact that some people take the time to describe what they see and send that to others. That's how books are made. That's how lives and stories are told. That's how imagination is born..... And this is why I need to stop myself before I travel down a more philosophical path. Lol! 😉
Knight of the Empire Absolutley! Whats better than looking into the almost-magical flames of a campfire, or glowing caverns of coals, and envisioning what the Music provides? Well, people can differ otherwise, and while things may match this, it is difficult to top it. May the Music make you Braver!
All I could think of, was the Valar dancing around while creating Arda, throwing light as far as their eyes reach, creating land, life, oceans, stars and clouds!
I am writing a book, a piece I want to leave behind and I have spent my life so far writing it. There are songs from Two Steps from Hell that fit all too perfect to some of the scenes and chapters and battles. They've inspired me, and I hope to one day finish my work, maybe even get it to film. And I pray if this dream where ever to come true, to curate or have the creators of TSFH create a soundtrack for this. Ah, listen to me ramble, one can dream. ^-^
wow, This is my new favorite track on the album. This track is so uplifting and all fits perfectly together, the Piano the strings and the percausion. This tracks shows how good TSFH can bee. I love it 😍😍😍
When ever its Two Steps From Hell i always think of epic space battles to medieval siege's its just..... thank you TSFH the best orchestra since star wars.
aniya edwards I have much the same story. Been listening to them since 2010, and haven't stopped since. It is impossible to stop, just like the inner creativity they helped me with. May the Music make you Braver!
