Personally, I think Nick has really improved as a composer. Some of his newer pieces really took me by pleasant surprise, such as Tale of the Forest from this very album, “Myth”

After hearing the majesty that was “Skulls and Trombones” for the first time back in 2019, I’ve got to say, this is absolutely amazing as well! Again, tsfh had never made a track I didn’t like! Now I’m ready to go pillage and plunder!

@@eurinome4320 you’re okay! The pun is “Shiver me timbers”…an expression pirates say in movies and cartoons. It’s an expression of surprise. So Thomas changed the word to timpanis, like the percussion instruments😎😅

Easily the best track on the album. The woodwinds get cool stuff to justify their being there, the kick drum adds drive, and holy shit that melody. It’s rare that a piece of orchestral music transcends to headbanging territory, but this is one bell of a tune, with that army of horns and strings.

I SO AGREE!!!! I am a percussionist and I LOVE Timpani. It would be amazing if they could show them. I do understand why they don't, as percussion plays at a different time (Before or after the rest of the orchestra plays) but I still think they need to show them just once so we can get the taste of percussion that isn't from a bunch of 15-18 year olds.

This song was AMAZING. It was filled with life. One problem, though. It is called Shiver Me TIMPANIS. So I really think as a percussionist myself, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show the percussion. Because percussion is really fun to not only play, but to watch. Also you guys have the best percussion section and it would be amazing to see them.

The irony of this music video of course, is that you don't actually get to see the timpani's or any recording of the percussions in general! :D Still one of my most favorite tracks on the Myth album. This track is incredible.

I was listening to TSFH music in my Chevy Astro delivery van when I suddenly realized my vehicle had transformed into a Peterbuilt semi. Everything gets more epic when TSFH music is playing. It's as if... Music makes you braver.
