an american veteran from WWII - seeing the particularly bloody scenes of the landing from "saving private Ryan " - said : horrible , but this is what really happened - Honour also to the russian soldiers
The sad reality is that most of the people of my generation which is the generation Z will ignore / do not understand the truth of how those courageous and brave men and women laid down their lives just so we can sleep peacefully every night.
That is true Steven. I'm in the army and like you said they ignore/do not understand and its heartbraking too see all these ppl die just to keep us and too sleep peacefully happy and it actually brings tears too my eyes And i had 5 friends that went too a war and i came with only 2 friends and ppl don't understand what these soldiers do for us and I'm 1 of them R.I.P TOO EVERYONE THAT DIED FOR US AND KEPT US HAPPY 🙏💔😭
1:04 Hey man, I can't see this scene. even if burned they still attack, even though fire pain is the number 1 pain of all pain. they continued to attack even though they knew he would die soon. Yes, this is just a film, but we can get a picture of the struggle of the soviet soldiers in stalingrad
Basically is just sad that your loves one is going to war without knowing that if they can comeback alive my grandfather was on the ship that is call USS Lexington and he was killed by the explosion till this day my parent went to visit his grave
Everything as always. The Euro-Reich wanted Russian territories and Russian slaves. The Russians fought for freedom. The Americans fought power and money.
I remember the times I was a kid and I used to think that war was a cool thing that you go and kill your enemy and now I see that war isn’t as cool as it used to be… your work hard and train hard to pass boot camp and learn what it means to become a soldier.. you learn more about the world and it’s problems… you know when it’s your time to shine you might not come back alive you can lose your platoons and friends… when you see the fire and destruction the screams of your comrades that have a missing limb you see what war truly is… it’s a never ending battle of torture and despair…
RESPECT TO ALL PEOPLES WHO WERE FOUGHT IN WORLD WAR II from both sides they all might afraid to die but THEY WERE BRAVE AND NEVER AFRAID TO DIE BECAUSE THEY ALL FOUGHT FOR THEIR MOTHERLAND,THEIR PARENTS,KIDS,BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
Kinda shows you how scary war is. Be grateful that you live in a time that's relatively peaceful. Imagine you were living during world war II and there was a real possibility that you could die each day
Я, как русский говорю вам: не только русские, это вы из Запада не разделяете нас и называете всех русскими, на что могут обижаться наши образующие и малые народы СССР. Мы были единым Советским народом.
From the lands of the knights of Poland to the hedge rows of France to the the mountains of Italy and to the rolling lands of Russia to the bridge at holland to the liberation of Belgium may Europe be free for ever and ever
Странно в этом увидеть красоту. Ваши предки не поливали кровь в той войне? У нас день Победы называют - Праздник со слезами на глазах. Кто прошёл войну, тот не улыбался вспоминая.
The look of terror on the German soldiers faces as the Russian troops charged on fire and taking shots takes your breath away. A fantastic music and film edit. Bravo and thank you a privilege to watch
What’s the footage from of the Normandy Beach Landing? You know it’s funny. I know a lot of this is probably from movies and video game trailers and maybe even TV shows from all over the world. But annoyingly my amateur historian in me is just going crazy with all the inaccuracies. Regardless very good little video.
The losses of Germany and 14 Axis countries on the eastern front in Russia were so great that at the end of the war, children and the elderly were conscripted into the army in the Third Reich. The children were carrying anti-tank grenade launchers at the hordes of Russian T-34 tanks. It was a terrible massacre.
@@gregorypyntikov7071 Even the Russias admitted they lost 10 million soldiers in ww2. The Germans capture 2 million Russian POW in the first month of the war. Most did not survive.
