I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. Spending a lot of time on my laptop and having sleepless nights because of work often give me under eye dark circles and dark spots from way much sunlight. My skin is easily effected by the sun since it's so delicate. It's difficult for me to find the correct skincare stuff. Someone I know recommended liiitlextra rice berry face serum and sunscreen to me. I decided to give them a try, and they really impressed me. I didn't know how they would work, but in fact they did wonders for my skin. I'm amazed at how my face shines now and how smooth my skin tone is. They have Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Black rice water, which helped diminish my dark spots, improve my skin tone, and protect it from aging and sun damage. It also keeps my skin hydrated and calm. One thing I've learned: if you want good skin, you need to moisturize it regularly.
In my experience, this rice berry vitamin c face serum effectively brightens my skin and diminishes dark spots. It's light, absorbs rapidly, and is suitable for my sensitive skin. Plus, it's cruelty-free and vegan, which is a bonus for me. Overall, it's a standout at this price.
my experience about jumiso vitamin serum: i LOVE it. i've used 2 bottles of it. i like trying new products so i dont really go back to things i've already used if its not a big fat yes for me. this product really does not oxidize, i also used klairs 5% and by wishtrend 15% but they did oxidize by time and by wishtrend really irritated my skin. jumiso is really mild, i have sensitive acne prone skin but it never irritated my skin and it actually works well on my acne spots and gives instant brightness to my skin. i really recommend it if its your first time with vit C for sensitive skins.
Great suggestions for the more affordable alternatives, Dr. Inkey! However, based on personal experience, the TIAM vita c serum exploded upon opening the new bottle. Aduii, it spilled everywhere. Also, the serum itself has really heavy fragrance, kinda smells like orange food flavouring. Such a turn-off for me, I only used once and it was quite tacky on my skin. I only used once (probably 4-5 months ago) Fast forward, to today when I stumbled across your video, suddenly recalled about this product. The vitamin c serum has oxidised and turned dark brown colour. Tbh, it's kinda disgusting but it's pretty normal for vitamin c to be oxidised upon opening right. I tried the serum on my hands, and it has a brownish stain and with TCM ointment-citrusy smell. So in the end, the only place for this product is the recycle bin.
I know right! I've been using Goodal Vita C Serum for the last 3 years, it works like a charm and is "cheaper", at 1300 INR. Also I've heard that Vitamin C is always best used with a collagen based cream/ moisturizer. Both these products help increase the efficacy of each other. I've been using them this way (Etude moistfull collagen moisturizer) and works really good.
Just to add Doc, the TIAM Vit C serum also has DENATURED ALCOHOL as its 3rd ingredients (extremely high in concentration just after Ascorbic Acid). It also has citrus orange peel oil. Just an added info.
@@hattorihanzo5707 Probably the least preferred ingredients in ANY skincare routine. Denatured alcohol/SD alcohol/isopropyl alcohol gives your skin a quick dry feel once applied as it pulls water from your keratinocytes as it evaporates leaving your skin dry in the long run. Citrus oils such as orange peel are essential oils (fragrance components) with ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFITS to your skin except to leave it prone to contact dermatitis years down the road.
Everyone should be using l-ascorbic over any derivative, but it needs to be stabilized ala Skinceuticals' C+E Ferulic. Anything else has ZERO data behind it and most likely doesn't get into the skin to do anything whatsoever to do anything at all, but may possibly work as an antioxidant at best. Any other derivative has shoddy data at best and none at worst.
Dr, im using Dr Dermis by bio-essence vitamin C brand. and it a little bit pricey. RM80+ with only 10ml. by the way, im still into myth saying that vitamin c are not suitable applying during daytime😂
@Noraliza Majid actually vit c works better during the day especially in the morning just make sure u use sunscreen after vit c because u're skin will became more sensitive
I use Jimiso….My first use of a Vitamin C serum. I have had hyperpigmentation for most of my life. Jimiso has lightened my hyperpigmentation a lot. My neck it the worse, I have noticed it lightening and breaking down. I love it so much.
why does my skin react to niacinamide? I tried many serum that has niacinamide just to lightening my acne scar but it will make my skin worst. why is that happen doc?
My favourite vitamin c is Dermacept vitamin c10 serum from Japan. But it is quite expensive ie. $700hkd ~85usd. So i am looking for replacement with cheaper price. I will try your suggestions later. Thanks.
Hello doc my name is rihema and I love your show❤ I have question doc, can I both use jumiso serum and Retinol anti-aging&firming, Thank you for answer,
been using Some By Mi Galactomyces Pure Vitamin C Glow Toner and its Serum since 2019 and I never look back to others after that many had commented that I look younger than my age (im 50) or even to those people younger than me. May I ask if the Olay Regenerist Moisturizer is compatible with Vitamin C toners and serums or would rather stick to Vit. C moisturizers? thanks doc.
I love vitamin c serum.. I've tried some by mi galactomyces vitamin C 3%, TIAM vit C and Commonlabs Vit C. Among these three products, COMMONLABS VIT C SERUM I like the most! I can see the difference in terms of softer and brighter skin texture in less than 2 weeks 😍 you should try! But before that.. I'm using lower % vitamin C product just to make sure my skin suitable with vitamin c. 3 month later I change to higher % of vit C in my routine.
@@greenrocket9344 Yass!!commonlabs vit C come in 10ml x 2 pcs 🤣 quite sad.. But very powerful.. Also need to keep in the chiller.. So easy to oxidise. But of coz, not all expensive product works.. But this commonlabs to me worth every penny!
My favourite Vit C serum is The Raw. Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 20%. It is formulated with the favourite duo of Vit E and ferulic acid. Ethylated form has the advantage of not causing the irritation. Best of all, this brand is founded by our fellow Malaysian lady!
I'm so happy to see Jumiso vitamin c in your video cause I've been using it however I stopped cause I've change my toner to Hada Lado Retinol Lifting & Firming Lotion and I heard that you shouldn't mix retinol with vit c. Is it true?? I want to use it again so badly 😂😂😂
There is an abundance of EO/fragrances in Jumiso VC which can lead to contact dermatitis for sensitive skin. Dr. Ingky must've been aware of that too emm rip sensitive skin.
Can teenagers use this serum? I am a 16 year old, my skin is still young and healthy but i have blemishes and dark spots caused by my acne-prone and sensitive skin. I am afraid that having a strong anti-oxidant product on my face might caused more damage to my skin than curing it :))
Thank you Doc, very interesting recommendations. I actually use the Geek and Gorgeous C- glow. It's really affordable and they make it fresh every week. It contains ascorbic acid, vitamin E and ferulic acid. I tolerate it well even though I have rosazea prone skin. I think I will try the first one in this video for my boyfriend. He has really stubborn hyperpigmentation.

It is okay to use a vitamin c serum after cleansing my face with the product that contains bha such as betaine salicylate? . I watch one video just earlier said that you can use the serum after cleansing because the active ingredients from the cleanser/facial wash doesn't stay on your face you wash it off. But i really want to hear it from you Sir. Thank you.
I've been using yuja niacin serum, it works like a charm for my skin but I wanted to try another brightening serum but didn't know which one, so thank you for the informative video, just what i needed🥺💜
Thanks Dr. How can I order? ❓ I keep my eye pencils, make up and most of Face stuff in the Bathroom . I set up a beautiful station there as well. I'm retired now....do not make up as much. I noticed recently that the eye pencils are not as moist as before... they're dryish. I live in an Apartment... there's no window in the shower. I'm thinking if there's not enough oxygen in the Bathroom. Could you please help me. Thanks Dr.
