I hv been using the premium essence for 4 months. Yes, it does what it claims 👍 It reduces my acne scars, dark spots etc a lot. It is also brighten up my complexion. I combine this essence with Hada Labo Vita serum, so effective

I’ve been using the original brightening essence for awhile before I became sensitive to it and started itching. I suspect it is because of the fragrance because the rest of my skincare does not contain it. I wish they would come up with an unscented version because I love everything else about it!!

I am in japan and bought melano cc premium for dark spots. I used it like two days as a spot treatment at night and moisturized. I got some pimples on my face .. I don’t have an actual idea why was that ? usually my skin type is acne prone skin, oily Is it safe to use this particular product??

How long does that last? This small tube lasts months so oxidation and 1 user even said hers lasted 1yr no oxidation

I am so happy that I have donki and mitsukiyo stores in my country. I never tried the melano cc essence and lotion, but the face mask. The first time I tried it, it had that technology that deeply penetrates into the skin. I love it so much! But I can feel it sting my skin so much. I was kind of freaking out. My skin is so beautiful after using Japanese products. But I also use grapeseed oil as well, vitamin c serums, and dove soap for my face.

Hi Doc. I'm interested in trying this product. I have a few questions though: 1. Is this an essence or a serum? If I use this, do I still need to apply vit C serum aferward? Are there any good vit C serums that you recommend to use with this essence? Can I use ANY vit C serums? 2. Since it's a vit C product, do I have to store it in the fridge like most other vit C serums? 3. Can I use it in the evening before applying my retinoids? Would it be too irritative on my skin if I combine both in my skincare routine?

It's an essence. A little drop of it goes a long way. Store it in a cool and dark area. Never use a vitamin c product with a retinoid, your skin will get irritated. Use retinoid at night then apply vitamin c in the morning.

This is already a Vitamin C serum. Don’t use this with retinol. Both are active and will lead you to irritation.

The actually do make it I believe. Hada Labo Rohto Vitamin C physical sunscreen. Although people like Gothamista did not really like it, it may be exactly what you need ❤

I have the premium one but I'm not sure how to layer it correctly with niacinamide (the ordinary) and/or Hyaluronic acid (hada labo). Because I've read vitamin c should be first but then the texturr seems more appropriate to use niacinamide first.

Following using riceberry face serum by litttleextrra for three weeks, here's what I experienced: Benefits: It effectively softens and evens out the skin, giving it a subtle glow. I've also noticed a decrease in my genetic dark circles (avoiding the eye area is recommended). It has also helped diminish dark spots on my sister's skin. Drawbacks: Personally, I have dry and dull skin, and using the serum every day exacerbated my dryness. I advise using it three times weekly along with a effective moisturizer to avoid dryness. I haven't seen any noticeable improvement in tanning or pigmentation issues in first 3 weeks. Update 2 months later: After nearly two months of regular use, I consider it my holy grail serum. It began showing positive outcomes. My skin is glowing, dark circles lessened, and dark spots faded a lot. So patience is key when using this face serum.

You can use it every day but use it at night. If used during the day make sure to use sunscreen over it or you will end up with more sun damage

Try hada labo gokujyun foaming wash paired with gokujyun hyaluronic acid lotion. I have combination skin and I’ve struggled with the same problem for years. These were the only 2 products that helped me with it along iunik tea tree serum! Best serum I’ve tried for tiny bumps on skin!

I'm using a salicylic acid and tea tree based cleanser and a light moisturiser still I can’t deal with them. Those scars are just making me crazy. Cleanser is ok I wouldn’t do vitamin C and salicylic in the same day tho. I’d go to dermatologist to see about what you need IRL less is more if u have a lot of bumps and texture.

I have this brand. I also have a 5% niacinamide gel based serum and A313 (retinol) I use Melano Premium in the MORNING, then sunscreen. I use A313 in the EVENING NOW I DON'T KNOW WHEN TO ADD MY NIACINAMIDE. PLS HELP DOCTOR.

Hello Doc. Is this Premium Vitamin C suitable for men skin? Or you recommend better to use the Rohto Vitamin C MEN that just launched the brand? Just so you know, the "men" label on skincare products are just gimmick and marketing strategy. Skincare product has no gender. What you should be looking and focusing on is the ingredients that is suitable for your skin type not the for "men" label.

This comment deserves to be pinned! Also, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (aka ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) is the most stable form of Vitamin C, and works synergistically with Vitamin E, and ferulic acid. It is also fat soluble, meaning it can penetrate deeper layers of the skin and address hyperpigmentation more effectively. But, this is quite expensive to manufacture so these products are at the end of the price range. If you guys are looking for products containing tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, I recommend looking into Paula's Choice because many of their products contain it. CEO Riley also has a Vitamin C line which has it, and is an established cult favorite.

Works on my skin. But take about 3 months for the best result. Consistently use morning and night routine. ❤ Love Japan product. Take times but its okay. Safe 💯
