But once you redirect one and feel that high, nothing else will compare…you will be chasing tiger sharks the rest of your life…Trust me I don’t know from experience
Yeah they have a tendency to redirect to any available opening in the house and stay for indeterminate amounts of time, highly dangerous overstayers hahaha
Tiger: Let me take a bite and find out... Diver: Nooooooooooooooo..... uuuurggggggghhh.... blllllluuuuuubbbb...blllllubbbb Tiger: Tastes like chicken, could do with some salt
Yes Tiger sharks are aggressive and are in the number 2 spot on the danger scale HOWEVER I actually think Bullsharks are 10 times more aggressive than Tiger sharks and from everything I've seen this women post she only ever does this with Tiger sharks, NEVER with Great Whites and NEVER with Bullsharks. I'm Australian and any Australian will tell you that Bullsharks are the ones to watch out for.
Same here… that kayak video is a very alarming display of how unpredictable these sharks can be….plus, it looks like they are LEARNING her behavior, too.🤔🤨💀

Right!? Like....she knows how fast sharks snap into action for an attack so I don't get why she does all this.. That thing would take her out in seconds.
@@ruthlesschristlovingprincessPeople often say, “that’s the scariest thing ever”, when it’s not actually the case. In this instance, it’s one of the scariest things ever. Her ability to stay calm in what could be imminent danger, probably saves her life.
I mean... what choice is there in the video? Most of the time bites are more investigative than anything, but if you splash and run you're broadcasting yourself as prey. Staying where you are and calmly redirecting the shark is very likely the best move here. It's not like the shark really gave her an opportunity to leave the water- if she tried then she would've just been bit. This way, at least, she can redirect the shark and keep all her limbs.
@@heiwaii847she’s out there looking for trouble and clicks. If you’re diving and you see a large shark, you calmly head for the exit. She is waiting for the shark to show up to get shots. They probably even used chum, bait, or sound to cue the sharks to the boat. Because of her, some poor tourists are going to go for a dip in this area and not be ready for multiple tigers sharks who are conditioned to have no fear or concern of approaching them. And a simple test bite from a tiger shark the size of that is 100% going to take most or all of a limb
@anthony5247 check out the tiger shark attack off Egypt. This fucker was persistent as a bullshark. The tiger sharks she deals with are in confused/bored/exploration mode. Like a lackadaisical cat. Lazy, bored. It is dangerous to instruct people like this - people are blindsided by shark attacks and torn apart. You never see them, never know what hit you and are lucky if some brave people save you.
I have a cousin who's a Ichthiologist ( Studies Sharks , Ray's and other types of sea life ) and she and I were discussing this lady and her interactions with Sharks . And she said this lady seems to know what she's doing and doesn't understand that these Sharks don't care about RU-vid, subscribers or view count. And it's only a matter of time before she becomes a victim of a attack. Especially when she's in deep water focusing her attention to a individual shark. It's the Shark she won't see coming that's going to be the problem. And with more than 1 individual around it creates a sense of urgency to predate before the competition gets away with the prey. Shes not at a petting zoo
I mean, she's not that bad at least she's not doing what Ocean Ramsey is. Now Ocean is bad she actually breaks conservation laws. This girl is just studying sharks and showing us when stuff happens how she redirects them . Besides, she says in most vids that you need to keep your eyes around you at all times. She is just educating people. Now Ocean Ramsey says she's best friends with the same tiger sharks for ten years. And that she has a special connection with sharks. But she can't even correctly identify Deep Blue as she posts a video swimming with her but it isn't actually her lol
@@pettiestprincess she studies sharks and she knows them better than you. They actually don’t usually attack people unless they mistake them for prey. Stop clicking on videos you’re just gonna hate on for no reason. Experts say that you should do just what she did if you encounter a shark. If you panic and start swimming very fast, the shark is definitely definitely gonna think your prey and attack you. How about you try learning about sharks behavior before you come to this post just to be a hater. Quit mocking the poor woman. And just leave.
I was get out. I was fine but I needed a tourniquet. I’m please say I still have a leg. My leg was saved. Major ouch. It doesn’t kick in immediately. Adrenaline. Not the shark’s fault. It’s their world. It bit and did not swallow. She was this one is skinny and tasted bad. She spit me out. No blame. I’m sure I tasted disgusting. My leg was bad but that tourniquet saved my life. You hold up. You enter extreme pain. I made a decision to enter water in Maui. My decision at 16. I could make decisions.
You can’t flail in the water when retreating from sharks because it stimulates their prey drive and makes them think you’re actually prey. And if they think you are actually prey they will explosively close the distance and actually try to take a serious bite out of you. In this footage the shark is slow when going for the exploratory bites because it is actually confused and trying to figure out if she is something it should eat because her body language is communicating to it that she isn’t prey.
I still miss Steve Irwin 😢 and I’m not sure if he deserves to be referred to as a bad example. His death was an accident, at least that’s what I remember reading at the time. Of all the creatures he ever handled, the stingray was the least dangerous and also wouldn’t have killed him if it hadn’t stung him precisely into his heart. It was such an unlikely scenario to happen, compared to the likelihood of him getting killed by a crocodile.
Steve was also extremely aware of how dangerous some animals could be and was always honest about them wanting to hurt him, unlike this girl who's just like "oh look he's coming in my direction let me just gently push him away ❤️"
I wanted to be a shark biologist specializing in great whites, but life got in the way of that dream and I've learned that from all the experts," that if a shark really, wants you then it will get you and no amount of fighting will save you." Thats why most surfers, free shark swimers, clam divers and the experts who studies sharks, when they get attacked they don't hold grudges against the sharks. They always say " well I'm in their territory so it was my fault and the sharks going to do what a shark's going to do." That never stoped me from wanting to do what those people do and if it happens, then so be it and it will never scare me. But going through the things that happened to me as a kid, all the way till now, dying doesn't scare me.
@@chuckbarnett_tx only because the shark is just curious in this case. In a split second that shark can end her existence and being “dominant” or “standing your ground” will make 0 different in that.

Then stay off the roads...car, bike or walking. All way more likely to die than with sharks. Practice what you preach since you know more than this expert diver.
When the tiger shark swims up to you, place a powerful magnet 🧲 in front of her nose instead of grabbing it. She will never swim by you again! Their noses are super sensitive to magnetic fields.
Then stay off the roads...car, bike or walking. All way more likely to die than with sharks. Practice what you preach since you know more than this expert diver.
If that shark was actually intending to feed on her there would absolutely nothing she could have done about it. Her thinking she is standing her ground is about as delusional as men who think they are women.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't really "stand your ground" in the ocean... But I'll give you a tip; have recordings of Orcas that you can play on an underwater speaker; Tigers are especially causionous about them and usually scatter quick
How clueless can you be, fast motion or turning her back was not the answer as it almost certainly would have led to the shark attacking her. She had to make sure that it was a safe distance away first.
The sharks are much faster than she is, especially with those flippers on. She wouldn't have had time to get up the ladder before they came back. That's why she was safer making sure they were far enough away before climbing back in the boat.
For people who don't know, which seems like a lot judging by the comments, when attacked by a shark or when a shark is coming for you you either punch it's eyes or nose because those are the most sensitive parts on a shark. It is however a good idea to observe sharks from a shark cage just in case a shark desides to make you into lunch. Also pay attention to the dorsal fin of a shark because most sharks don't attack randomly. They most likely confuse you for food. If the dorsal fin is lowered then it is telling you that you have overstayed your welcome and it time for you to leave.
@cherryfroggo ever watch Sharks Happen on RU-vid??. If you swim in the ocean, especially in certain areas, California, Australia, South Africa, etc... there's a bigger chance of an attack then the Lamestream will tell you.
@@cherryfroggo why don’t you research shark attacks globally by year. Then think about how few people globally actually swim in the ocean. And just like that you are smarter……
@@rnkmode1876 1. You saw it on a youtube show where they talk about Shark attacks, and that says to you that it's a credible threat? Well then maybe you should live and die single. Have you seen the show Catfish? 2. Apparently it's a media conspiracy? Why? Are they pranking people by getting them eaten by sharks?
Why do that if that’s her life passion. She’s clearly happiest when diving so she’s going to tell others the safest way to do it. This video doesn’t at all say it’s how to avoid them, it’s clearly is about how to redirect them, do you have a better solution on doing that?
Let's just be clear here, she didn't save herself from a shark attack. If they had been in feeding mode this would be an entirely different video available only on the dark web.
She doesn’t allow the shark to go into feeding mode🤪if you knew anything about tiger Shark’s you’d know that they’ll feed even if they’re not hungry. They’ll throw their meal up and eat it again over and over because they love eating so much. Sharks are hesitant to charge at you at high speed if you’re facing them
Risk aversion, like any predator on this earth has. attack when they don’t think you are a threat back to them. but it’s still just a matter of time with this woman..
Well, I think your racing would end up with one less limb, sharks, like most predatory animals see "running" especially with your back facing them as a flight reflex of their PREY, that's when they charge at you and bite, slash, claw, or whatever they capture their prey with. Sharks are extremely dangerous, if you don't know, how to deal with them correctly. Swimming away as fast you can will most likely get you killed or at least dangerously injured. She seems to be very professional in what she is doing. Please don't take this comment negatively, I just want to inform, no beef thank you!
Reminds me of the movie where Gregory Peck tells a story him being a captain and a bet who got to the boat early the shark or the human. They decided to devide the money acording to the pecentage of the body the shark got.
A tiger shark is not something you wanna be in the water with. They can become extremely aggressive at the drop of a hat and there's nothing you'd be able to do about it.
@smyers820gm because it obviously didn't turn aggressive lol. That's far from how an aggressive shark would act. Nothing she can do if that happens.. sooooo.
@@Predictable1 She could've gotten out the water much earlier. That's what she could've done. The water is shallow and crystal clear. I was swimming with tiger sharks in the Bahamas, actually scuba diving with them under professional supervision, they have been doing it for decades with no accident, you can do it with tiger sharks but not with bull sharks or great whites, psychology of tigers is well understood.
Why do these people think that they are controlling these animals?! That shark is 100 x more powerful than her and if it decides to attack at full speed, there is nothing that she can do but scream and hope to live
No, she’s really not. She’s doing very important conservation work to show that sharks are not just maniacal man-eating killers that should be killed at all costs. Shark species are slowly dwindling. And, knowing what to do, and how to safely share water with them, is so important. Because, people do frequent oceans too. Im sure shes aware there is risk involved here. However, most shark attacks occur because a human is misidentified by a shark. They know people aren’t a great meal; they typically know a human wouldn’t be a great use of their energy, for very little reward. Sure, sometimes a person panicking, splashing, or generating more interest may become an easy meal for an opportunistic predator. But she’s proving video by video; that isn’t the norm. She’s incredible; far more brave than I could ever be.
@@tmazz85 On average, people kill roughly 72 million sharks per year! That number is absolutely wild. Spreading awareness, about their importance to the ocean.. the ecosystem. And really showing people how amazing these animals are; it really does help.
Just to be clear, two tiger sharks did not charge at her..they swam slowly because they were clearly just curious..if they had charged at her hunting her, they would’ve ripped her to pieces.
That is pure abuse of those whales they are kept in tiny tanks, driven crazy and as a result have killed people, I don’t know what your point is, but whale training in places like seaworld is an awful example.
This game can only last for so long without a tragedy. Humans need to respect and give space to such creatures. Sharks are a very important part of the oceans

She didn’t even snap at you! She clearly came in to calmly investigate, and remained curious. You were also right by the boat, and sharks appear to like investigating those as well due to electrical impulses. Stop throwing in words like “charged” and the apprehensive music. If that shark wanted to attack/eat you, the behavior is entirely different.
The shark didn't leave her space so she could get up to the boat ... the sec she panics and races (splash) up the boat they will feast on her that's why she had to remain calm calculate distance time and risk to move cautiously... I do believe for a safety measure the cameraman must have a defence device
Do you know what seals look like? Shark attacks are most common when paddle or surf boarding, since the fat shape from below looks a lot more like a seal than our skinny bodies and long limbs. If the shark really thought she was a seal it would have come at her at full speed, not just cruising by to investigate like it did. Tiger sharks can go 20 mph, she would have been missing a limb already. Not saying she’s smart to stay in the water, though, cause sharks will bite just out of curiosity.
@@beehivebat4766 They will bite from more than just curiosity, lmao. There have been many documented cases of all the predatory sharks returning to the victim after having "just curiously tasted" a whole entire arm or leg that they bit off, as they then came back for more and eat most of the person. So they can clearly attack/taste/test, then kill and enjoy human meat, because they'd come back again and again after that initial curious taste that wasn't a seal yet they still wanted the meat, and That is a FACT. FAR more often. They are the most likely shark to attack a human and kill humans all the time. Great whites very rarely do and have a lot more contact with humans.
"Almost as much." A quick google search showed me that Tiger sharks have attacked humans literally *half as much* as great whites, with about 3-4 attacks per year🫠 People can literally say anything on here😩 Here's some more data: *Centuries* of recorded data shows that great white sharks have killed 52 humans... ever. Not per year. Not every 10 years. *Ever* in recorded data dating back *centuries*. Tiger sharks have a reported 38 fatalities. Again, *ever*.
