Thank you very much for posting these historic videos with the English subtitles! It's very interesting to see from the German perspective and the historic scenes of equipment and personnel.
Subtitles? I don't think that I've ever seen a video on this channel with any Subtitles on it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they don't exist, just that I've never seen any.
Is there any German news bulletin video depicting Western European countries under their occupation from 40-44? Depicting how occupied people lived under their regime Thank you
Thanks for posting these videos! Were any films done on "the making" of these newsreels and profiles of the cameramen and reporters? Some newsreels were staged but many depicted actual combat and real danger for the crews. The newsreels of rocket artillery and infantry assaults, in particular, seems so much like the current fighting in Ukraine.
@@michaelporzio7384 And some of them are made right were the fighting is taking place today. Like the old saying "the more things change, the more they stay the same."
Can you please comment on, or even make a video about fighting in WW2, and fighting in the Donbass and the Karkov areas, where the heaviest fighting took place then and now, how the problems of the "Rasputitsa" or the "season of mud" was handled by German Force's in the Donbass, and then how the Soviets themselves handled them, and how the Cossacks of the Donbass became Allied with the German War efforts, and then their fates after the defeat of Germany in 1945. Just anything War related about the Donbass then and now. Please? Thanks very much, mate.
I really appreciate all the time and effort you've put into this. All the detailed context and the many accurate comments always make it worthwhile. Just when you thought you already knew a lot, you always learn something new here. Thanks!!
As just a YT subscriber/watcher peasant I thank you sir for your service. You've done more to help me see the German WW2 newsreel experience more than a 100+ documentaries.
Great Work Its Most Appreciated..Especially with the English Subtitles! ..Please keep posting These Film Clips/ Reports they are very informative and preserve a part of History that without the likes of yourself and others would be a far more one sided Commentary.
Hey there dude, I really aprecciate what you do by keeping history alive, about the things that happened in the past, Congratulations for the 2 years!!. And for de A&Q, I've got a question: Do you play any video games about WW2? And if so, which ones they are? Greetings from Chile and thank you for what you do :)
As a ww2 enthustiac, i have seen quite some documentals with real footage, videos, photographs, etc. However every time i see one of your videos, 80% of the images i see, are completely new for me! Or at least, when i see a ww2 documentary with real footage that they just copy and paste and say that those images are from some place, i can identify those in your videos and know where are they really from. I still dont know how do you manage to get those amazing and awesome quality videos, specially the last one u published abourt the OKW movie about western front, just awesome!
Youi do an important job by posting these videos, the more people understand about prewar and during the war sentiment in Germany the better we can prevent this happening again. There were many brave and righteous people in Germany at that time, not all were homicidal maniacs.
As someone who builds German Armour kits I like that the vids you post contain actual histiorical images of these panzers that are unique. Also as a question: Do you have any video of SDKFZ 234/2 "Puma"- the stuff out therer is pretty lame... Keep posting vids!
I know you have your disclaimers at the beginning of every video, but you should really expend every effort to make sure people understand that this part of German history should be remembered and understood, but not glorified. Maybe one day you could move on to videos covering the opposite ideology that came about post-war - the DDR.
Question for QA: Why do you sometimes upload only a single scene from a Wochenschau instead of the entire episode? for example, the kursk video is just detusche wochenschau 672, so why not uplad the full episode?
Thank you for all your important work; history no matter the source is vital to understanding our world today imo. Keep doing you please - much love from Sweden
