Could not agree more that the micro CC, or what id just call aoe micro annoyances, are completely out of control right now. Its like somebody is just flicking me in the nose the entire time that i play this game. Some silly little thing is passively annoying me for .5 to 2 seconds almost constantly. That being said. spriest feels pretty good, especially in BGs where you get to do your thing and just level entire team fights with a proper setup
@@Mike-vs1gf we've reached the point in the games life where many spells should not even be interruptible with kicks. Every class needs between 1 and 3 caster stops for m+ and their abundance has been steadily degrading pvp.
A movement while channeling would be amazing love that. The issue now that everything is baked into psychic link so if they overbuff single target it also buffs the aoe massively too
Nice vid as always Stahp, tbh, I’m having a blast of fun with Voidweaver… I’m always doing more dmg then the Archons. I do feel that Archon does more dmg, but every one shut you off so much and feels impossible to cast Halo+VE+Flays… while with Voidweaver, in addition to having a 20% stronger DoTs, being able to cast the Void Torrent while hiding behind a pillar and seeing the rift melting everyone every 30 sec, feels sooo good haha. GGs man !
Our issue is mobility, if only there was a significant speed increase when we cast voidform. I think that shouod be something to look into as well as add vampiric embrace.
I recently realized that my SWD backlash damage did more damage to me than it does to my target, even if they were below 20%... anyway, I really enjoy Archon Shadow.
honestly switching to void elf, it's off meta, dope mog, and has a killer passive, especially with the amount of casting we do. i would also love to see vt hitting for 100k/tick bc it's such a core of our class it should be meaningful. it doesn't have to be like afflock or empowered garrotes BUT reward us plssss
from the parts you can hear. it's actually summed up nicely. 1. stand in the back and hard cast everything. 2. mind blast and death do nothing. 3. try to have fun haha
Yeah I actually didn’t do this in the video, good idea. I kind of just use the damage off cd since mostly we’re trying to oom a healer. With a rogue you could prob have a nice setup with triple cc and burst like the good ol’ days
Yeah, stacking the 4, with Voidform running and PI and their cast time is super short and they hit crazy hard with Voidform making them deal the same damage as if the target had full mastery bonus

I was testing a burst build with Ancient Madness and Mastermind, those Insanity Mind Flays are critting so much, less AoE dmg but insane kill windows. Not sure what you think of running a burst build like that for this expansion
I think a good idea would be to make the dragonflight season 3 tier set for shadow word death a talent honestly where shadow word death hits multiple times and make it a connection to tithe evasion.
Hi Stahp, As recent convert to the shadow life I have been loving your content. Shadow feels amazing but having come from playing Melee for 15 years I am really struggling with how to stay alive. I have been looking for some tips and tricks for how to deal with getting trained by multiple melee and not dropping like a sack of potatoes when the warrior decides that my face looks like a sharpening stone for his axe. Loving the content so far
Make sure you are using flash heal for that 10% damage reduction buff on big goes, also i think fade still reduces damage? Dispersion is a short cd so it's not bad to use it early as well. I will make a video covering this topic soon once solo shuffle is out
@@StahpSP no kidding. Our damage is pathetic. Even the DoTs don't hit hard enough. I had a warrior execute me from 20% to 0 one bg and I couldn't help but laugh the next time I cast death.
@@leetackett7879 power infusion, stun, silence, and fear are enough to rate it highly in arena even if their damage is poor. They are a force multiplier for the actual dps on the team.
heard that lock is really good from a r1 warlock friend but he didn't do well those games anyways Priest is the only class with no mobility SP needs the most instants yet are the only class without even a single one SW:D is useless except to break cc, i specced out of everything involving it, because it is literally not worth wasting my healers mana nor the damage it does to me if being focused it needs to do minimum 500k noncrit Mindblast is a waste of gcd except for insanity gen and yogg stacks ...and yogg did not scale; it took forever but was at least scary in DF, like a demo lock popping tyrant and every cd, as it should be, given that it's basically like a 5 minute cd at minimum mind devourer must become 1 point and switched with ancient madness ancient madness is garbage; should last the duration of void eruption and not diminish MD needs to stack Zero repercussion for dispelling our dots and if we shadow crash immediately they're immediately dispelled Not even the cast time of everything is reduced SP is unplayable without precog and if you don't become a juke God, you can't do anything SP is good only if you're a good player with the new changes, at least beginner sps can pump damage but are completely cooked if anything focuses them shadowcrash talents 1 point mindflay needs something like a 1.5/2 second MAX cast and it's damage increased by 100-200% it must be changed to shadowfrost, it makes no sense it's only shadow while this mindspike trash which doesn't even slow is shadowfrost remove mindspike trash, dead talents and trying to make two playstyles work ascension and eruption instant cast this might be a bit much but i'd like to see ascension removed and eruption reducced to a 1m cd and not require a target to cast blessing of the bronze must reduce the cd of our actual mobility, like every other class, which for sp would be fade, not fucking grip but better than angelic feather at least, which i've never run out of charges on mass dispell, for shadow only, 50% haste buff and no mana cost it's a 2m cd and sometimes i can't even use it bc the cast time and i'm oom from needing to flash heal for the wall 70% entropic rift needs to be baseline, it does not compete in any content to movable torrent instant mindgames for shadow only; it's a 45s cd, does no damage, and can be dispelled we need SOME sort of dispell protection like affl, especially as if we cast DP multiple times, we lose 150-200 insanity if dispelled i haven't an idea what that'd look like; maybe every 2 dispells grants unfurling darkness, which should now stack and a charge of mind devourer each DP stack dispelled grants mind devourer or like 20-30 insanity gen for each dispell of VT voidblast is incredibly cool aesthetically but is useless beyond the insanity generation they should be hitting noncrit for at minimum the same as mindflay insanity, although more because we only get 2-3 max and 0-1 if we're being focused idk, i'm one of the top sps in NA, but not as good as you, and you should make a public post detailing changes to be made, this is just my verbose 2 cents after drinking too much coffee lol

I have had alot of success as void elf, the teleport, and no kickback have been amazing since we have low haste And are the only caster that casts , what are your thoughts on void elf, and possibly dragon when it releases , the 2 micro ccs and the double glide seem to broken for us to not take, it helps with our 2 weaknesses, mobility and getting dicked raw by every melee who turn into monkeys when they see us
I dont know if use the invoc of yog saron is very usefull ? You cast him like 1 or 2 times in all game. Whats do you think about more dot with the eyes ?
games are really long now, unless someone makes huge mistakes they last until healer is oom usually 2-3 yogg per game yogg did not scale with the new health pools i'm playing without it to do more sustained
Shadowy inside is such a waste talent, I don't even press that zero dmg mind blast crap anymoore. I would love to ditch thought harvester too, sadly, I need to chose it for shadow crash.
Not necessarily because being cloned is annoying as hell, they would be stunned / cloned all game of feral was free. That being said this was an arena skirm 😂
"If you're new to the war within shadow priest..." Stahp one week before the first war within season has even started. Mind flay while moving honestly sounds like a great QOL change for SP btw. Would be especially dope if it worked like shaman lasso, hunter rapid fire, and disc penance. Doesn't seem that crazy imo.
Lol ya some people have been playing the beta for over a month tho… and people may watch this video a month from now. Looking forward to figuring the rest out
