Twycross is a lovely zoo! Nice to see the update with the gruffalo part! I would 100% recommend Yorkshire Wildlife Park for your next zoo vlog visit! England's only polar bears! Would love to see you do a vlog from there as it's my local zoo!

never heard of twycross zoo before. definitely on the itinerary.

Originally twycross was in a field in Tamworth, and the chimps was the original brook bond 🫖 advertisement monkeys 🙈. We went in the late 1960s, haven’t been for a long time . But now I’ve seen your vlog on it I will be giving it a visit soon, thanks Shawn and Charlotte.

Molly Badham, who started Twycross Zoo, also co-founded Drayton Manor Zoo in the 1950s having lived nearby.

Gruffalo experience is a fantastic investment, used to just be a wide tarmac path.

Really enjoyed this vlog, I am near Yorkshire Wildlife Park which is huge, they have lots of unusual animals as well as the ones you would expect to find. They have just opened a dinosaur area and they also have a shopping area and a dinosaur experience restaurant. There are lots of places to eat in the park as well as picnic areas. At the moment there is also Dowse,s funfair at Doncaster Racecourse from Fri 25 May to Sun 3rd June from 2pm to 10pm.

Today I went to a trip on twycross zoo

Haven't done Tywcross Zoo for years. Got to do it again.

This seems like a nice zoo in Leicester, I’ve never been to this one However down here in Hertfordshire I’m in a prime location within short driving distances to 2 most amazing Zoos- Zoological Society Of London ZSL Whipsnade and Colchester Zoo in Essex where these are the 2 main largest zoos for conservation with humungous variety of animals and yes of course most importantly Goatpark Worldwide, This is a really nice vlog with those monkeys including the epic spinner how clever, I’m surprised he didnt feel dizzy after that, glad you both had a great time

I would love to come back here not been for 17 years I recommend a visit to Edinburgh zoo that’s the best zoo best penguins

Im pretty sure that the entire of the Gruffalo area is brand new apart from the butterfly house which got a re-theme.

I was there on Saturday and if you had gone over to the Costa area of the indoor section you would have been able to see the snow leopard

hi Shawn I have not been to that Zoo since I was about 10 Years old.

They did Much better job than Chessington, the ride there is always broken down. I’ve had to walk off that ride more times I think. Be good to see a video of how run down Chessington is getting! I think it’ll give them a kick to fix stuff properly.

The gibbon enclosures are voted one of the best in the country i believe

just to let you know Monkeys have tails while Apes do not. its a distinction that many people don't realize.

you should go to amazona zoo or banham zoo in norfolk, pretty great zoo's

Chimpanzees are not monkeys. They are great apes.

They need to make butterfly houses that aren't so discriminatory towards people who wear glasses. Also, zoos would have took a massive hit during Covid. It's not like a theme park where you can run your costs into the ground by more or less shutting the entire place down until it's safe to reopen.
