Yuna Lim yeah ik but I feel like they have to since they’re in an English interviews. That’s why some members in groups are quiet because they don’t know English and don’t have enough confidence to speak Korean.

Yuna Lim yeah that’s also true. Totally forgot about that. But in some cases like BTS they didn’t have a translator since one member knew English. If some members know English the company is less likely to get a translator. Which I find a bit Silly like is that member suppose to translate everything to the rest of the members.

I think someone reassured them to speak Korean if needed, but they did speak more English than they would normally. When Taehyun discusses the first award, I think he's looking at the others to check his words. Their English is great, but they're still nervous about it. They likely don't get to practice it a lot, and with the US showcase they had a script to help them. Teen Vogue did a really great job with the boys, as the article was well written too, so they may have told them Korean and English were both fine - whatever the boys were comfortable with.

You'd think they'd stop asking them that by now.

Aneesah There doesn’t need to be a reason sometimes, if you’re surprised, then you’re surprised. But if you insist on asking, I’m surprised by him because he knows a lot of languages but manages to keep track of every which not many can do especially at his age. Memory is much better at the peak flow of age 18-up.
