I first fish here in 1997 first time I fished it was in may and fished on those two islands on low water first cast I had a 23lbs tope had loads of rays and dogs 100yrd cast your into 60/80ft on nice clean sand
Had a go behind the artilley sheds a couple of weeks back. 2 scorps and and twisted ankle later, I give it up for a bad job! Wouldn't mind a few more of these videos though mate. Driving from Wigan to Anglesey isn't the shortest trip so they're properly useful!
I'm based in Wigan pal, its defo a long trip. Worth it, still hard when you haven't been to places before. just thought it would help out as I get about a bit. I'll try and get some more done :)
@@turnerstackle defo does help mate. Actually showing folk where to go is a real time saver! I'm heading back on the 6th, going out with Roy from Amlwch. Still going to need somewhere to go on Sunday evening though...hint...hint...
bit of a mild easterly at minute depends how far you want to travel really. People are reporting algae bloom across north wales but no sign of it last Saturday but 8 days is a long time. Jump on Amlwch breakwater as its close and can be decent fishing, minis and also Congor down the sides, outside can throw up allsorts
@@turnerstackle I can believe the algae reports. We were out at Easter - we went up and down the east coast of the island on the reefs and managed three or four undersized pollock, a few doggies, herring and I had a nice huss. Was pretty dire but that's fishing. Will try the breakwater. I like the inside for wrasse, never done much 'outside' but might be worth a go!
Cold haha, worth a shot. Had some decent Wrasse, still fish about but similar to elsewhere it starts to slow down towards the end of the month with the temperature dropping.
