I like Ty Lue! I've never seen a very confident coach coming off a loss like this haha. Makes me think he saw what he needed to see, what worked and what didn't, especially after putting Kawhi back in the rotation after missing a few games. There's no panic in him . And that makes me feel good going into Dallas!

Norm.. 2-10 Russ only played 23 mins in game 1. The reason the mavs were coming back in game 1 at the end was because Russ was subbed out in the middle of the 4th when he shouldn’t have been since when he guarded kyrie he went 0-7 when guarded by Russ and runs a pace that the mavs aren’t good at defending with. When will the coaching staff see this? When they’re down 3-1?
Credit to the Mavs they have completely neutralized Powell. He can’t even get shots up. But he is a better offensive player than Russ. When Russ is on the floor we can’t spread the floor. Yes, he does a whole lot of things on the defensive end but when we need to score he can’t help us that much unless he has it going and he didn’t last night 2-9 from the field. Our defense was on point, Dallas scored 97 in game 1 and 96 in game 2. But we shot 36% from the field and 26% from 3 and it thought Kawhi would come out in playoff mode but he looked really really rusty. So with a rusty Kawhi and us shooting horrible from the floor and the Mavs barely won I still feel very very confident.

Kawhi needed this game to get ho legs under him. He didn't even practice before the game. He'll be ready by Friday to play much better. He may have messed up the rhythm habit but it's needed for him to get back in form and to regain his rhythm.
I said this, but it made sense for him to get in and knock the rust off. However, Tye should have game planned offensively around PG and Zu. For Kawhi to come back and not have played close to a month and have the most shots is mind boggling. To me, that's why the Clippers lost, poor offensive game planning by the coaching staff.
You have to start Russell westbrook james harden got exposed in the 4th quarter they hunted and targeted him on defense luka and kyrie calling picks to get james harden to guard him and cooked him that cost clippers the game
@@goncaloferreira8810 We primarily had PG/Coffey on Luka last game and we kept fresh defenders on him throughout the game. Harden defending him solo was not the right call
I don't know about the momentum, but the moment that Westbrook was subbed out in the 4th quarter at around 8min left, it was a 0-6 or 8 run I don't remember.
The Clippers defense has been great 👍. The good news is that the Clippers have played pretty good on the road this year, they will definitely be ready to play on Friday with more offense efficiency 😊❤

Why didnt they start Mann on Luka he definitely was flustered the first game but i credit Luka, Kyrie and Washington played a wild game. Need more from Kwahi hopefully things adjust. Cant wait for game 3

This was a game the Clippers should have easily won. The offensive game plan was absolutely awful; the guy (Kawhi) who's been out for about a month should not have had the most shots. The offensive game plan should have been to feature more of PG13 and Zu/Harden. Kawhi been out for about a month should "NOT" have take the most shots, especially on a night when you have PG13 shooting 50% from the field. Great D by the Clipps, look at the box score, the way that Dallas is playing on offense isn't sustainable, please just look at the box score and Dallas's offense. Lue's game plan won us the first game, his offensive game plan lost us the 2nd game. No way the Clippers can go back to the same offense as usual when Kawhi returns without factoring in Kawhi being out and how well the Clippers played offensively in game 1. Disappointing loss they let this one get away......

If the Mavs still flunked up in the 2nd half of Game 1, I think they would still not play Kawhi. Besides that atrocious 2ndQ in Game, Mavs played good in the 2nd half. You just want to avoid the momentum carrying to the 2nd game which happened tonight. Both teams was shooting bricks, it all went down to who can get the better stops.
@@bluv5185 thies has been more valuable than zubac all year long. He's not just good in the paint but can shoot well mid and at the 3. Zubac had a good first game but he's not always consistent.
Ty always gets triggered about being asked about subbing out Russ because he knows it ALWAYS hurts us in the end. We lose energy, defense and ball movement without him. And we lose because of it, again.
Looks like they are slow compared to the first game. It is difficult with Kawhi back, and they all lose their rotation. I should play Kawhi in 3rd, get the 2 at home.

Yes they went to him to much in the forth and his legs were gone, but at least he's back. Once he gets in rhythm it's gunna be over for anybody the clippers face

Kawhi has no energy whatsoever. He looks either out of shape, or not engaged. Russ and Terrance are the only two that play with any sort or energy or intensity. PG, Harden, and 2 all look like they’re waiting for the other guy to score.

Harden was the best Clippers player in this two matches against Dallas. Definitely Clippers would won if KL didn't play. 13 games played without him created some fluid basketball but with him , as a first option ( 16 attempts had), everything changed. He is out of rhythm and PO games are not ideal moment to practice
That's not true at all. For 2 games, the Clippers have dominated the paint and yet, the Mavs keep getting more FTA. Fucking sucks that a team dominates the paint and gets no foul calls. Mavs are a fag ass team
