He played no Theis, who was huge for us in stretches during the regular season. With Russ coming off the bench, he couldve made him play the point, while allowing harden to take a rest from bringing the ball up every possession, and as a superior shooter, could easily spot up in the corner. Instead he made Harden bring the ball up every fking possession, exhausting him, while leaving Russ who's a bad shooter, just sitting in the corner in the spot up position. If Ty Lue couldn't even see that, he's just not a good coach, or the NBA's just rigged and they were not supposed to win this year.

I believe that Ty is a good coach. I have many reasons to believe that the NBA is rigged. I've been watching NBA games since tv screens were black & white and this is the worst it could get. It's obvious that younger players are put in the spotlight right now. They are pushing them to find a new face because LBJ is close to his retirement. Why are all of the older experienced players out of the playoffs so early? This is just food for thought, because I am not sure about it.

This was a poor coaching job. Turned Rus into a 3 and dee player. PG thinks he's Jordan and doesn't even think of passing. He took several bad shots with a hand in his face and got blocked several times. There was no ball movement at all. I hope Rus leaves. Kawhi does need to be load managed to give him a shot of being healthy in the playoffs but you also need to load manage his max money. It's criminal Kyrie is not on the US Olympic team. He hustles on dee nowadays. The deep three he made in this game was impressive. He was definitely the best player in this series.
Russ is ball dominant but isn't consistent enough to be ball dominant. Russ doesn't have a real offense game, he depended on athleticism his whole career now that it's gone he's really exposed

They cooked The Mavs in 2 games without Kawhi, so obviously they were capable of winning. Lue is definitely partly responsible for this failure of a series.

Time for a Clippers overhaul. Either PG or Tmann needs to go (I think it's PG). Zu needs to go or be the backup center (don't be fooled by his statline. The Mavs had 11 off rebounds by the 2nd qtr for a reason). Plumlee needs to go. Either Tucker or Westbrook needs to go (Kobe Brown did Tucker's job better, so I think it's Tucker). They already gave Kawhi a max but they can't rebuild around him because he can't stay healthy. They need a legit power forward.

As much as I want to point out ALL the mistakes Ty Lue made through the whole season....it all comes down to the players.... I've been hawking all year about the 5 problems that would send the Clippers to a first round exit....and those 5 problems were NEVER fixed....and all 5 of those problems were adamant in last night's game. The Clippers NEVER "got better".... you can't blame Kawhi for getting hurt... all you can ask is when a player is available...he is dependable on the court. That Kawhi IS.....
