If we win this series without Kawhi and Kawhi manages to get healthy for the 2nd round we have a great shot. I do not see us winning 2 more without Kawhi, I have to see it to believe it but go clips!
I actually like their chances better in this particular series without him. The two games he played the offense degraded into a plodding mess. He is not prepared to play. The main reason for the James Harden trade was to get through a tough postseason series without one of either Kawhi or PG(possibly both) There is one less star mouth to feed so PG and Harden have more natural freedom to take the shots they want, even freelance. Norm also will get up more shots. If T Mann would take them, his attempts will go up. Coffey takes his open shots and is naturally aggressive trying to score.... Zu is getting more paint touches.... Russ has committed to being a defensive ace more than a scorer. I really like The Clippers in game 5!
@@sammyslam1 I agree with everything you said except the Russ part, I mean he is playing good D but has been a total liability on the offensive side of the floor which is why Ty has had to bench him on multiple occasions. Now, yes they have played much better without Kawhi because when Kawhi was there the team was deferring too much to get him going and the offense was stagnant, there was no ball movement and the offense just didn’t flow. Kawhi honestly has nothing, he’s been a liability on both ends of the floor and has done more harm than good but with that said I just cannot fathom that we beat an improved Dallas team without or best player. I had this series in 6-7 with Kawhi playing like a superstar, with no Kawhi I am amazed at how we’ve won 2, let alone win 4. For the Mavs to lose this series without the opposing teams best player says a lot and that’s why I just can’t see it. I have to see it to believe it. If PG and Harden play like they did in game 4 I see it very hard for the Mavs to beat us but the problem is that PG is super inconsistent. He shot 8-20 on the first 2 games, subpar performances and then an incredibly bad 3-11 in game 3 for 7 points that’s inexcusable. So it all depends on the PG we get. Harden tends to choke come game 6 and 7 in playoff series. Will he deliver? That’s why Kawhi was so important cause he’s our closer and best player and without him I just see it very hard to beat this team. But let’s see.
As someone who has knee inflmation that keeps repeating rn its a mental thing and I see it on Kawhi. He’s scared of his knee not confident in it. Its still not ready.
Yeah, Med team cannot find anything except that inflammatory. Looks like more of mental thing. The more you think of it the more your body is manifesting it. Anxiety. Kawhi needs benadryl. He needs to show more emotion to release those tensions building in his body and mind. 😁

All these games offensive rebounds have been the main problem for clippers. I think they’ll continue to shoot good cause they’re not taking any bad shots, except pg sometimes(which he made last game). If the clippers continue to protect their defensive rebounds they could easily win it
Playing kawhi 12 consecutive minutes in the first quarter not good for his body and knees, even when he’s healthy, clippers over working him that’s why he injured
