Lol love it. I've used my pups fur for flies before as well. She's probably distantly related to your pups. Think giant oversized dachshund mix. She's like a 35 pound double size weenie dog.

Hey Steve. Cute doggy. Look for some Icelandic wool and Nayat hair. Both are similar to the dog’s hair and come in lotsa colors. Tie your jigs with the light colors on top of the shank and dark underneath. This way the back of the fly will be darker as the fly inverts underwater. Just a thought. Peace baby {

@blackflycreations it's funny cause I actually tie with a lot of crazy stuff myself. Polar Bear, calibus monkey etc so it was extra funny that it was dog. 🤣
