Truely amazing, sir. I tie crappie and smallmouth jigs but this is so far out of my reach I wont even try. Just watching you put this master piece of art together raised my blood pressure. Its one thing to tie a simple crappie or smallmouth jig but this is much more. What was even more impressive is how you blended the colors to make it look so realistic. I could spend my entire life trying to tie this pattern, and it would never look as good as this one. You are truly an artist Sir. Outstanding is all I can say.
I'm working on it. My time is extremely limited with 3 online stores, a walk-in fly shop, 2 daughters, and 5 social media accounts to manage. In the meantime, the materials are listed before each step of the tying process. I appreciate you.
@@flytyingzonedavehise I understand the effort it takes to do what you do. Just trying to give feedback. I watch at least 10 of the best tiers in the world. Most provide MList in description. Especially for new Tyler’s? It helps shorten the learning curve significantly. Again, I like your skills. The flies are amazing. Keep up the good work.
Fly tyer, "Hmm, I have an idea with this zip tie." AMAZING. Reminds me of ......."I'm an artist, man," said John Lennon. "Give me a tuba, and I'll get you something out of it." Crazy talent! RESPECT.
It's a labor of love. I enjoy entomology and the creation process. Then, use the rejects to catch fish 😂. All my flies would vary in price (if someone actually wanted to by them), depending on the time invested and the materials used. This one would probably be around $15. I guided for over 30 years, so I tie simple guide flies, too. In fact, I created the original squirmy worm 🪱 some 17 years ago.
