@@saverio_6990Im not insane, its called being realistic. I dont think you are understanding my point about how looks play a massive role when it comes to people trusting and judging someone. Look up the halo effect right now if you dont believe me.
I think he made a loser alter ego to make other people less threatened by him as a child, fit in with the other losers better, which made him feel better because the people around him would hate him less
Anirudh Bhattacharya That was done on purpose. Apparently Brad's idea. Pitt's teeth were too hollywood perfect and they knew that's not what Tyler's teeth would look like.
@@othelliusmaximus Tyler done what Norton would’ve done, if he wasn’t still in himself. The more the film went on he done more daring stuff. It’s like his subconscious was doing it.
Love fight club, always crack up when he talks about having a respectable wardrobe I used to be like that with khakis and button downs now I’m more like Tyler’s fashion,I am enlightened.
Sorry to break your bubble, you're not. Ironically, you're saying that in an obscure youtube comments section to people you have never and will never meet to feel better about yourself because, chances are, society rejected you. That wouldn't matter in the movie that says fuck what society thinks, but then again, real life is no movie, is it?
The funny thing is he was trying to move *away* from roles like this, which was more of a callback to his early 90s work. The last role he had with this kind of energy was 12 Monkeys in '95. All his recent movies were straight dramatic roles (ie. Meet Joe Black). Critically and commercially the movie was a flop at the time... and according to many critics it damaged his efforts to be seen as a real actor. In reality, it cemented his status as sorta the modern version of alpha cool that guys like McQueen had. It's kinda like Tony Montana in a way for Pacino.
Like a 'Where's Wally' conglomerate picture, the issue you're having is not targeting a psychopath, but where is not the psychopath. And that was Will Graham's critical error: i remember once soemone told me the porcelain back of a toilet tank is strong enough to stop bullets, if you think to pull it off fhe wall. Will Graham thinks he's safe. That the Doctor is too wealthy and too comfortable to compromise his position of security but like trying to examine an ocean through a spy glass he's looking at a tiny amount of potential reality. Who else does Doctor Lecter know who might have blackmail material? How many of Doctor Lecter's patients are receiving psychiactric medication no police officer has ever used? Hypnohallucinogens? Sedatives? How many post traumatic victims (and others) enrolled with false names and no family history? Etc. During the Nazi uprising the idea 'The Doctor Is An Idiot' was a huge public phobia. I'll tell you what docors are frightened of: gamblers.
