even as a kid in everybody hates chris, Tyler always had some GREAT facial expressions! im so happy for this cast because its filled with a lot of great talent who had success before but maybe petered out and I love that they're back in the spotlight in a way that they deserve and in a show that they can be so proud of.

This guy has a level of STRONG intuitiveness that's gonna take him further and further. He's actually STUDYING HIS CRAFT WHILE DOING IT!!! He is not taking this for granted (this was my life since 12, he easily could being so young). He is pulling from and learning from his experiences! Mary J. Blige got that same blessed opportunity and made it so FAR. She got to clearly improve everything about her artistry right before our eyes while we supported her and wanted to WATCH this growth. And it began to markedly improve when she began to take it seriously and study it. Sure, there are plenty of younger child actors being granted that same opportunity: to be PAID WHILE LEARNING. But you can really tell that this one here is not being spoiled by or taking this life he is in for granted AT ALL. He is absorbing and learning on a level that will have him Tyler Perry-ing it in NO TIME FLAT. I'm very impressed and wish him well!

I love when people come on the show and pay homage to Whoopi as the comedic legend that she is because she truly deserves it. She’s talked about feeling unseen professionally at one point so I’m sure it warms her heart to hear that she’s influenced so many talented individuals.

Don't watch a lot of sitcoms these days simply cuz there's not much that grabs me, but this show and this young man holds my attention. Here, he is as impressive, if not more, than he is on the show. This young man is headed to the "BIG" screen. I can see it.

I grew up in Detroit and I remember in elementary school only having one black male teacher in 3rd grade. His name was Mr. Kirkland and he was not only the best teacher I ever had, he saved my life protecting me from a child predator who was a close family friend, when my grandparents didn’t believe me.
