Mr. Tyler's message of this song is that time of our life were we don't know where we are going in life, we follow what is trendy, we get confused in this world's opinions, we don't know yet our purpose, it is when our heart feels empty and looking for a way out of misery, the guilt, self pity, dishonesty keeps going on and on-that is what he meant of going down.. but "we are found" is the time when we are saved, this song is Tyler's faith for those in the path of darkness will be enlightened by the living God, the God of Tyler Joseph :) and our real God :) Find out more about them then you will understand what I am saying :)

I’m glad his old album is getting more recognition. Unless people thing this is a new song which is incorrect. This song is from the beautiful album called no phun intended. I think the album was made in 2007.

honestly tho, if tyler planned to leak this on purpose, that would really be the coolest idea ever. i love how most of the lyrics is kind of related to the hiatus like it was mysteriously and coincidentally leaked before the end of hiatus. the line "we once were lost but now we're found" and "we destroy a part of us every time we blink an eye" like it means that the eye that symbolized the hiatus is no more since the longer they are on the hiatus, its like they are destroying a part of them.

2 years since we discovered this and I came to realize only now that it's actually Canon in D with lyrics

Tyler is such an inspiration for a teenager like me trying to make an album, not for the fame, but for the therapy. For the coping. For the help it gives me. The ability it gives me to vent when I have no ears from people I love.

Listen man, I was the exact same until God came into my life. Knowing God loves us all so much he send his Son to die on a cross, so we can be forgiven, it’s just set me free of so much man. Jesus Christ loves you bro, you’ve already recognized a problem, get out there for a walk every once in a while. Do something about it, transform your life, you don’t gotta live this way the rest of this world keeps telling you to live. I was there once too man.

When you know all the songs off no phun intended and this comes out and you thought you couldn't get more sad.

No matter that we're going down, literally, as the planet is decaying at a rate they could never had fathomed, it really is of no concern. At least, from Tyler's perspective, in my opinion he is accentuating the ultimate good that is to be found in the darkness of today's world. He speaks of the fact that understanding that something very tangible is wrong in today's world, and that gives us the chance to stand our ground in the most unknowing of times. I love when he asks if we remember the feel of the moons glow because I feel that is a reminder to never forget that there was a time when the world was in relative peace. As a true believer, Tyler sees the battle of good versus evil in today's world and that a weapon to protect our hearts from evil is thru music. And he and Josh have been stewards of hope and love to people throughout the world. I thank God that Twenty One Pilots are here, and on October 26th I will have my 1st chance to witness live the pure emotion of the music they create. #LIGHTUPTHEDARKNESSS

While I was listening to this I felt some sort of nostalgia or deja vu and I'm crying now. The way Tyler's voice and lyrics make me feel is powerful. He has such a huge impact on my life. I found them while I was going through some hard times (including moving halfway across america and not knowing *anyone* ) and they make me feel like I'm not alone with sooo many other things. Bless them

The name was Time from the No Phun Intended Album, I've been looking for this track since FOREVER THANK YOU!!!!

I still dont care, this was a newly made song when it leaked, lol. It had to be. You can hear such small little details, ESPECIALLY towards the end, where his voice was just so much more improved than it used to be. It's so much more controlled compared to other songs on the album. You know what? It sounds very Vessel-esque. I think he tried sounding like his npi but only made it halfway and ended up sounding like his Vessel voice.
