Sammy Garner Crystal couldn’t act her way out of a paper bag. She’s that horrible. Angela Bassett can act. Viola can act. Alfre, Octavia and Lupita can act. Crystal “can act” only if you also believe Tyler Perry is an amazing director. And God knows that ain’t true!

@@serpentine913serp6 The women whom you have mentioned are STELLAR and are worthy of their titles and accolades thus far but what I am sayin is that CRYSTAL FOX really does belong with the best. Tyler Perry has found a breakout ACTRESS to not ONLY do TYLER PERRY productions but much more. It is my own opinion but nonetheless, SHE IS a WELL SEASONED ACTRESS and a talent, because she can sing as well, but the take away is that she should be observed in her performances and that she should be recognized because SHE IS THAT GOOD. Thank you GOD, Tyler Perry and Crystal Fox's team for bringing you to MY EYES as well as the tears I've shed through your performances.

Mr. Perry stated "I would put either of these ladies in a film with Meryl Streep or Viola Davis and watch them go to work". That's the confidence Tyler has in their talent. Crystal Fox, Bresha Webb, Phylicia Rashad and Cicely Tyson turned in stellar performances in the film. Kudos to the ladies and a special shout out to Tyler for casting multi generational thespians for his picture. (Bresha '30s; Crystal'50s; Phylicia '70s; and Queen Cicely Tyson '90s)

I love Tyler Perry love Hannah I always watch the Haves & Have nots but I did not enjoy the movie the wigs was terrible especially the guy wig.. also Tyler please hire black writers give them jobs love how you look after black people your awesome but you know the show QUEEN SUGAR? Get that woman who writes & directs QUEEN SUGAR SHES BLACK & she is awesome because that’s another one of my favorite shows she can help you I admire you love you and that guy with the bad wig you should have gotten another guy to play that role acting is bad

I loved the movie but the ending seemed rushed. Also, ......spoiler...... the friend didn’t exactly explain why she was doing what she did!!!! Like WTF! Who just does something like that without any explanation what so ever🤨 also, I watched this on my tv as it wasn’t as clear and HD as it is on here 😂 anyways, I think that’s enough complaining from me lol great movie though 5 🤩 out of 10 for me lol

I’m sorry but I don’t agree with the majorities opinion. I really enjoyed this movie. I will say that a little more money could have been put into the wardrobe “ Grace and Tyler’s wig/hair piece could have been of better quality. The African American Community which I am apart of have been pretty hard on Tyler about this movie mainly because he has a history of making movies about our women always in a negative light ie.the battered wife, the anger black women, broken families, the list goes on. The people have spoken and now it’s time for Tyler to show the light/ the other side of the African community that is not often shown in movies. There are strong 💪🏾, successful, educated, loving, nurturing, positive, BLACK Women and Men in the world. Tyler you now have the platform to show it.

I am only 13 and I always watch movies with my mom and this movie hit me hard. This is my favorite movie and I did cry at the end with all the plot twist. I loved it. Great job Tyler.
