Tyler Perry Tearfully Reveals Heartbreaking Reason Behind His & Gelila Bekele Split 

Tyler Perry is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. In 2011, Forbes listed him as the highest-paid man in entertainment, earning US$130 million between May 2010 and May 2011. ET has learned that the 51-year-old filmmaker has split from his longtime girlfriend, Gelila Bekele. The two share one child together, 6-year-old son Aman. "Tyler and his girlfriend split up some time ago," a source tells ET. "They remain friends and are focused on being the best parents they can for their son."
