Childhood abuse is so EVIL because the adult abuser knows the child will grow up to be great human and out of jealousy and wish to stop that potential the child is abused. Child abuse must stop.

Yep ! God must take us through the wilderness to create a masterpiece. Even this forgiveness moment was divinely ordained. God had to place obstacles along the way-his father-so that the plot'd unfold to this testimony he's giving today. It's all biblical and in so many occasions in the good book. Happy for the gentleman 🙏

I'm still "forgiving" my abusive mother. It is difficult, but I have to do it everyday or she wins! Her awful words still ring in my ear from time to time, but I know this is a process. In order for me to win (claim my life & not what she told me about my life), I must "forgive" her daily. Hopefully, it'll be weekly, then monthly, then yearly, then completed! Praise God.

Some things you can't forgive and you shouldn't! The best is to break up every contact with her and to try to make the best of your life! Ignore her! Such a person is not your "mother", she is just the one who produces you! And instead of trying each day to forgive her, try to start to call her "producer" instead of mother and tell yourself everyday three times that you are a worthy person and that you deserve it to be loved! Don't waste your time with thinking about her! I know, what I'm talking about! Believe me! Kick her into her ash!

Monique is lying, as she has said time and time again her contract was with Lee Daniels. She has never worked for Tyler Perry or Oprah. She actually says in an interview with Roland Martin right here on RU-vid that she wasn't blackballed. Her story changes by what she can get the gullible public to believe.

I hope you were there when Tyler allegedly did "whatever" to Monique, to tell him to forgive her. If not, maybe Monique is the one who needs to do the forgiving. W/o u, nor me actually there when "it" happened, neither one of can be the judge of the situation.

To add to this, forgiveness does not mean that you want to attend the next family reunion with the person you forgave. They do NOT get to be a part of your life-it's your choice.

You must have been there to make a statement about what Tyler or Oprah should do. If you were there, did you offer any solutions? If you were there, maybe it's Monique who should be doing the forgiveness.
