I remember my first day I moved to Poway, I went to the Poway skatepark. Tyler, Wes, Marius, Shurikan Shannon, and Spencer Nuzzi we’re all there. Tyler was doing the biggest kickflip melon grabs over the pyramid every time. He had long hair, those beanies with the bill, green cargos, and some Vans old skools. Such a fun memory.
Love how Tyler spent more time gassing up his friends and SK8MAFIA than talking about himself. Always knew he was a phenomenal skater with great style now I also know he’s an incredible dude very humble and appreciates the people he spends time with.
great episode. Been watching the show for years now and Chris just lights up anytime he talks about barcy and it was nice to see him get the opportunity to really go into detail on it with Tyler. I think it'd be a shame if Chris didnt get back there for a decently long stint. Chris, if you ever decide to take a break theres only one place you should go imo! Its only ever one flight away bro Also Tyler is a killer on the board and very easy to listen to. Comes across very eloquently and calm, skateboarding is amazing
Tyler surrey has been my favorite skater since early 2000 sk8mafia Saturdays . He has such a pure surf the streets skate style , thank you nine club and Tyler Surrey for this 🙌🔥
great chemistry in the room on this one, great episode! tyler is so rad and im so jealous that he got someone to take him to see the leap of faith in person haha wish i had thought of that!
I know its probably said to often but this dide currently is the most spept on pro, hes been above the level for like a decade now but hes still somewhat underground. Such boss parts for yeeeeears.
that sun deigo video with spanky, tyler, wes kremer is one of my favorite vids. i have it on dvd but the dvd is toasted. i wish i could find the video somewhere. it's a banger, and it's got so many names before they made it.
The Miami spot may be bigger than the leap of faith, but the landing has a slight incline down which would make the landing theoretically easier, just a thought
The Jesus Fernandez-Javier Sarmiento video parte Tyler talks about: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CwHIkolqALQ.html Met Tyler and Wes back in their early Spanish trips. Coolest guys ever.
Hard to believe people still like IPhones when Samsung has been consistently the more superior phone in every way for the last decade 🤣 . Oh well, some people still eat at Arby's too 🤷♂️
no disrespect to this guy but it feels like a lot of the guest have been lack luster the lat couple years, so many amazing skaters that still haven't been on the show, im not expecting a Jim greco interview next week but dudes like tfunk, grant Taylor, Jake Anderson, louie Lopez don't strike me as guys that would turn it down, but hey what do I know. Miss the days years ago when it was a awesome interview every week. and im not talking about stop and chats, awesome being able to get multiple Reynolds, dill, Spanky interviews, impossible for those to get old to me lol.I did enjoy the new staab episode alot too!
Louie was on the show years ago, episode 93. Also, you're just talking like every skater who hasn't been on the show has never been asked, or has turned it down. Neither of these are things you actually know, it's just you speculating, then being negative about those assumptions. Some of them won't want to do it, that's totally fine. Some will say yes but finding a time is hard. Some will say yes but after they're done working on something. Some will say yes but aren't based in US so when they are next in the country, and so on. It's not as simple as just: Ask, say yes, on the show the next week. Which sounds like what you think it is.
Bruh you dont have to be to deep in skating to have known Tyler surrey, he may not be mainstream but him and Wes made Sk8mafia the titan team it is now for over a decade. Learn yo sheeit 😂
