I'm oddly bummed I won't get to visit the OG Hollywood Amoeba - I've been to the one in SF in Haight-Asshbury and was in heaven though! Good luck with the move!

I went to California for the first time ever last November, so happy I got to see Amoeba before it moved!

It gonna be a trip that the OG amoeba won't be there anymore. Was there a few weeks ago, but the new location looks like an awesome space!

It's amazing and heartening to see a record store still doing well.

I'm going to miss being able to walk from arclight straight to amoebas. But i love that place regardless where it's at.

I love Amoeba. Being there in 2018 was a magic experience for me.

I remember stopping in Amoeba back in 2015! Such a rad time, found such great music. Still got my shirt and a couple of stickers as well.

Glad have a chance to visit the current location one last time in March! Last time was back in 2013 and probably was the best 4 hours I spent in a record store. Glad y'all are keepin' it alive for years to come.

Glad to have hit up both the SF and LA stores when i hoped over the pond from England last year.

Amoeba is the best!! They cemented their legacy with location and familiarity and it's going to be really hard to adjust to the new location, but I'm 200% dedicated to them.

This new shop is gonna be super lame compared to the current location. Per the Amoeba e-mail, it’s gonna be smaller than the current store and having apartments above the store looks odd. I’ll also really miss the iconic AMOEBA circular logo on the outside of the current location. Such a shame that you have to move!

Looking forward to visiting the old location in March ..

I actually met Tyler at Amoeba in 2018. It was a Sunday night, he was up there buying a vinyl lol. Super chill dude, I think he appreciated that I ain’t ask for a photo, or was hella geeked out.

It totally sucks that you’ll only validate parking for 75 minutes (and after purchasing something) at this new location. I would literally be inside the current location for *hours* on most visits and when there’s an in-store performance or meet-n-greet even longer than that. Please have FREE parking again like the current Amoeba has!

I’d be heartbroken if Amoeba actually closed. I haven’t gotten a chance to go there yet since I don’t live in California but as someone who truly loves music Amoeba is an invaluable part of the culture. Glad it’s just a move.
