This just makes me want to burn a copy of GOBLIN where every song is the same but instead of Yonkers it's this and give it to someone without them knowing
Not just the beat, rhythm, and melody. You actually need an iconic voice that resonates with the energy of the lyrics. This would suck with a Drake or Kendrick Lamar voice
the flow at some points hard af in the og but it's mainly the beat and the guy's voice being pretty light compared to the beat so on yonkers with tyler's raspy voice makes it work at least a bit better
@@micahcoleman2760nah the original is OF as fuck, doesnt sound exactly exactly like tyler but would've fit right in with any first wave OF record and its clearly influenced.
@@micahcoleman2760 bro the flow is literally the exact same in the beginning. the syllable count is literally the same as quite a few songs on goblin. uses the sames types of notes too. theres only a few 4 bar sections here that portray any other type of flow. if you dont rap or know anything about music its really counterintuitive to think you know anything...
the fact that this song sound so much like a song off of goblin shows how much this man was trying to copy Tyler's style from goblin on that original song.
I think besides the fact that the original backing track felt like it didn't match, the voice the guy who rapped it was using just didn't give any dangerous vibes
