Greetings from Australia, hearing songs from my Fathers country reminds me that I have cultural connection and a heritage. I have visited Latvia twice now, and loved every second of it.
@@lolikususs Yes, although my eye sight isn't as good as an Eagle these days. Ha ha. It's really nice when I bump into fellow Latvians in my day to day life when by recognition of one's Latvian name. it's like a signature of connection, as is by wearing a Latvian ring.
Music is it's own language. What I don't understand with my mind, I comprehend in my heart. Greetings and best wishes from the US. Thank you for giving the gift of beauty.

@@reginakniprode246 gut gesprochen ! Kann ich leider völlig nachvollziehen. Empfehle dir mal "Europa the last battle" anzuschauen.
Careful what you wish for. I once heard a great Japanese Band that really resonated for me. Then I saw the Translation and they where singing about Soup, or Elevator rides. Basically just jibberish.
Guys, the lyrics are from the Latvian folk song sung in Latgalian language. The genre is “songs of the ‘pieguļa’ shepherds” (kids responsible to graze the horses during the night): in the darkness of the night the shepherd loses his horse, the horse gets lost into the forests and swamps, the shepherds ask God to give the shining sun, the sun rises and the fog falls, the horse is found at the bay of the river.
@Kolnu Andrius

Kolnu Andrius Oh So Nice of you Really! I found the lyrics to all of them...if You want them? Listen and looking at the same time I can figure it out. It’s a fun language to speak. It’s “Slavic Smooth” or “Balts- The Taste of Early Slavic Light” The breakdown of the Slavic Evolution points out The language of Latvia and Lithuania was where it all started From Persians- Indo-European Language. Yes dork out on languages! Really, you really know the evolution. I never heard that name before in Ukraine, but It’s old.. and from the Baltics.. So kind of you to take the time to pass that information on.
